"Okay why are we involving ourselves in this?" Sable asked as she followed Bryson, "Isn't this just some kid who had a bad experience?"
"I think it's a bit more than that. It could be a ghost or something. It likely doesn't have any good intent." Bryson said as he stopped to check a registry of passengers on a wall, "Good, right area." Bryson said.
"What? Why are we stopping?" Sable asked as he stopped another student who had wandered outside over the commotion.
"You, you part of this section?" Bryson said gesturing to the area.
"Uh, yes?" The student said confused.
"The isles?"
"Yes?"
"Where's the Pridetree located?" Bryson ordered more so than asked.
"Uh, what?"
"The student representative, Pridetree, brown hair? Noisy?"
"Oh her? Uh, yeah I guess I know her. Why?" The student said squinting at Bryson.
"Where is she?" Bryson said slowly as he threw a glare at her.
"Room 322-B!" The student said quickly as she felt a shiver run through her spine as she instinctively cowered away from Bryson.
"Let's go." Bryson said as Sable stifled a giggle.
"Wow, you really are a charmer. How in the world did you ever get those idiots on your side?" Sable asked.
"Shut up." Bryson said as they neared the door.
"So what are we doing?"
"Oh there's a 'we' now?" Bryson said with a scoff, "You weren't very interested when I began to look around."
"Of course I'm part of this, I need to take care of my little brother."
"Who's your little brother?" Bryson asked frowning as they reached the door."
"You are of course." Sable said sticking her tongue out as Bryson knocked on the door.
"What? We're the same age." Bryson said looking indignant.
"I was born first then a few weeks later you were found. So yeah, you're the younger one." Sable countered as the door opened and a groggy, green-haired girl opened the door for them.
"The doctors said I was at least a couple weeks old, likely older, so we're the same. In fact you could easily be the younger one of us." Bryson pointed out.
"Um… hi?" Eva said looking confused at them.
"Please, that's impossible."
"How?"
"Hello?" Eva asked again.
"Because you're clearly more immature than me."
"Immature? I'm the immature one? I'm not the one that throws hissy fits."
"Hissy fits?" Sable said.
"Uh… can I help?" Eva said a little more loudly.

"Ah right." Bryson said pausing before looking over to Eva, "Is Pridetree here?"
"Yes, she is asleep." Eva said with a nod, "Why do you ask sir?"
"Bring her to me." Bryson ordered.
Eva nodded her head and left the door half open as she walked over to Penny's bed and tapped her awake, "Penny, the boy you like is here."
"Hmm?" Penny grunted as she turned in her bed, Eva prodded her more to cause her to sit up, "What? What is it-" She paused as she saw standing at the door was Bryson Coldwater.
"Huh?" She whimpered as she looked down and realized that she was still in her night gown and had terrible bed hair, "Please close the door!" She screamed.
"Right. Get out here quickly." Bryson said closing the door.
"Classy." Sable said, "You're dirty-minded."
"Oh shut up." Bryson snapped as they waited.
"Why are you pining at a girl's door anyways? Also why do I have to witness this?"
"First off, you didn't need to follow me, again. Second she seems to be some nerd when it comes to The Academy, including the lore of this ship."
"What does knowing about the story of this ship have anything to do with the weird thing you saw?" Sable asked.
"I'll explain when I can tell the both of you." Bryson said as the door opened and a slightly out of breath Penny poked her head out, now in her school uniform and smoothed out her hair a little.
"Uh, so… you need me for something?" Penny asked looking at both Bryson and Sable.
"You recognize this?" Bryson said handing Penny the necklace he took from the student made the wail before collapsing.
"It's a valuable necklace… wait, this has Cuirassier's name on it, where did you get this?" Penny's eyes widened as she read the name on the back of the necklace.
"Another student collapsed earlier, I saw something exit out of him and turned out that he found that beforehand." Bryson explained.
"Something flew out?" Penny asked.
"My brother is good at sensing magic, he saw some invisible thing that was magical fly through the halls." Sable said.
"Brother?" Penny said slowly turning her head over to Sable, "… soooo, you would also be a Coldwater." She asked slowly.
"Yeah, that's what it tends to mean when you're siblings." Sable said nodding her head.
"Ah. I see." Penny said her face starting to get pale.
"Hey student council member." Bryson said snapping his fingers in her face, "Don't go breaking down on me again, we need to figure out the current problem."
"Ah, r-right." Penny said collecting herself, "Uh…" She paused as she looked at the pendant some more, "Oh, wait this is an old thing, the letters on the necklace indicate a date."
"Okay, so it belonged to an older member of the Cuirassiers?" Bryson asked.
"Who are the Cuirassiers?" Sable asked.
"Apparently a lineage of airship captains." Bryson said.
"Yeah, really old, M. Cuirassier… hmm yeah there was the captain of this ship three captains ago. Markus Cuirassier." Penny said after thinking for a moment, "He passed away."
"Was he known for owning any type of familiar?"
"No, why?"
"Are you aware of a student screaming very loudly a few minutes ago?"
"What?"
"I did." Eva said creeping her head through the door, "It woke me up."
"What? Why didn't you tell me?" Penny asked.
"You were sleeping." Eva said calmly.
"Okay, so what happened?" Penny asked Bryson.
"I think he found that necklace, somehow. Then something inside the necklace processed him and then flew up into the air duct." Bryson said, "Nonsensical I know, but it's what happened, you can ask the person who was possessed."
"No." Penny said slowly, "No, I believe you… hmm. There was this rumour."
"Rumor?" Bryson asked raising an eyebrow.
"That Captain Markus was killed by his brother over the right to own this ship and his soul was sealed in his own family heirloom." Penny said as she stared at the necklace, "But that's just a rumour… right?"
"Let's say it's not, which does raise a few questions, like how some random student found it just in the halls. But more importantly, if his soul was sealed into it, he would likely become some angry spirit right?" Bryson said.
Penny nodded her head, "… That's definitely a way how an evil spirit would be formed."
"Who's the current lineage that runs the airship? Markus or his brother?"
"Oh, his brother, which was why the rumours started, Markus's infant kid died through equally mysterious circumstances soon after. Everything conveniently fell into the lap of the brother, Marko and his immediate family." Penny said.
"Looks like we have a spirit on the ship then." Bryson said turning to Sable who had a troubled expression on her face.
"First off, you might have hallucinated that." Sable said quickly before addressing Penny, "Hey, how do you even know that much about this ship?" Sable said almost accusingly.
"Uh, I like to read." Penny said looking uncomfortable from Sable's glare.
"She's obsessed with Trinity Academy. She reads everything." Eva said from the back.
"Eva! Shut up!"
"We should go and check if this theory is right or not." Bryson said to Sable.
"What? Why?" Sable asked eyes widening.
"What would you do if you could take revenge on someone who killed you and destroyed your legacy as a ghost after being trapped in a prison for decades?" Bryson asked, "Don't forget everyone you care for is long gone, so no one you care for will be affected as a consequence, and you're on an airship."
Sable closed her eyes and took a long inhale, Bryson could swear that he saw her tremble, "Let's just check to be safe."
