With the monsters from the village pushing aside the monsters from the stampede, the path to the Thunder Boar was cleared for us.
Once that happened, we didn't waste any time in making it through that gap and charging at the Thunder Boar.
Though the pressure that came from the Thunder Boar was the genuine thing.
It was clear that this Thunder Boar was a real disaster with how much pressure it was giving off. Just this pressure alone would have been more than enough to crush some of the weaker monsters.
However, we were able to face this pressure without backing down.
Iris was able to resist it because of the dragon bloodline that she possessed and I was able to resist it because of the combined will from my different avatars.
Though there was also a bit of dragon in me since I had absorbed the flesh of the impure blood red dragon.
Even though we appeared in front of it, it didn't seem like the Thunder Boar really paid any attention to us. Though it did seem like it spared Iris a glance since it could feel the aura that came from her.
Other than that, it didn't seem like the Thunder Boar was really interested in either of us.
With the way that it charged forward, it really seemed like there was a place that the Thunder Boar wanted to go.
Or rather, it seemed like it just wanted to leave this place as soon as possible.
The Avon Forest itself was quite big, so it wasn't able to leave the range of the forest that quickly. However, it really was strange that it was running like it was afraid that it would lose its life.
The power that the Thunder Boar possessed was greater than most monsters in the Avon Forest to begin with, so it was strange that it would be running for its life like this.
After all, there were very few monsters in this Avon Forest that could pose that kind of threat to the Thunder Boar in the first place.
Still, this really wasn't the time to think about it.
Though it seemed like Iris could guess what I was thinking based on the look on my face.
"The inner part of this forest is a completely different place. Even this Thunder Boar is nothing more than a minor character there."
I didn't say anything in response to this.
To be honest, I didn't actually know much about the inner forest that she was talking about since this wasn't a place that had been in the game.
It was actually a place that was supposed to be released in an expansion, but I didn't get to play it. It was supposed to come out some time in the future, but I had been sent into this world before that could happen.
However, the one thing that I knew was that it was supposed to be a very high level end game area.
This was something that had been teased for a long time, so it was hard not to know this.
As such, I could guess just how strong the monsters that were in the inner forest that Iris described were. If I had to guess, they most likely were as strong as some of the strongest experts of the other races.
It was no wonder this Avon Forest was regarded as one of the most dangerous places on the continent.
But this wasn't the time to think about that since the Thunder Boar was coming right at us.
"We'll go with the plan that we discussed." I said all of a sudden.
Iris didn't say anything in response as she just gave a simple nod before suddenly sprouting black wings from her back and flying into the sky.
I shook my head with a faint smile before sprouting black wings of my own, though they weren't the same as the black wings that appeared on Iris' back.
After all, those were dragon wings while mine were nothing more than bat wings.
After flying into the sky, the two of us released our separate attacks at the Thunder Boar.
She released a breath of fire while I released a mix of different skills that was shot out as a beam.
The Thunder Boar didn't stop for even a second when it saw us attacking it.
Instead it seemed like it suddenly gathered power with the way that electricity appeared around the Thunder Boar. It didn't hesitate at all to release all of that electricity in one blow as it charged right at our attacks.
In the end, there was a powerful sound that rang out that sounded like a clap of thunder.
This charge from the Thunder Boar released that electricity that surrounded it and pushed back our attacks.
However, it wasn't as if the Thunder Boar was completely safe after taking these attacks. Instead, there were small burn marks that were left on its body after it had slammed into our attacks.
The Thunder Boar stopped charging forward after it was hit with these attacks.
The look on its face was as if it couldn't believe that our attacks had actually hurt it.
However, we also looked disappointed since we had put quite a bit of effort into those attacks.
For the Thunder Boar to block it while only sustaining minor burns like this was more than enough to show just what kind of power the Thunder Boar possessed.
Even if it was the weakest from the inner forest, that didn't mean that it was weak
This thing was still a Catastrophe Class Monster, a S Rank Monster.
It was the kind of monster that could destroy an entire city by itself.
"I'll take the front as we agreed." I said before diving down at the Thunder Boar.
Iris didn't say anything as she just watched me dive down at the Thunder Boar.
The Thunder Boar narrowed its eyes to look at me before gathering its electricity once more.
But I didn't stop when I saw this, I just flew even faster at the Thunder Boar.
