When the Thunder Boar saw that I was flying at it like this, it couldn't help looking a bit angry.

After all, the Thunder Boar might have been a monster that had been chased out of the inner forest, but it was still a powerful monster. As such, it had the pride that a powerful monster would have and would still act on it.

I no longer had the form of a human, but instead changed back to my form as a slime. However, I wasn't just a small slime, I also started to expand after turning back into my slime form.

I continued to grow bigger and bigger until I was the size of the Thunder Boar, but I didn't stop growing after reaching that size. I just continued to grow bigger and bigger until I was triple the size of the Thunder Boar.

I could see that the Thunder Boar was caught off guard for a second because of this expansion from me, but it didn't stop charging at me.

Even though I had become bigger than it, it didn't show a single trace of fear.

Iris that had been waiting above hadn't been idle during this time.

The two of us had divided up tasks between ourselves, so Iris had been preparing something that she was about to use on this Thunder Boar.

When these flames came down, they were concentrated into a single pillar that landed on the back of the Thunder Boar.

Since I knew that the flames were coming, I shrank down and used several speed increasing techniques to get out of there in time. It was just that the Thunder Boar wasn't able to do the same thing.

The Thunder Boar was able to generate a large amount of speed once it charged, but it was slow in building up that speed. It had to gather the energy for that charge before it could actually charge out.

As such, the Thunder Boar could only gather electricity around itself to form a barrier as it took this flame breath.

When the flames fell onto the Thunder Boar, there was the scent of burning that filled the air.

It was clear that the flames had an effect on the Thunder Boar as part of its back was being singed because of it. However, it didn't seem like the flames were able to leave a fatal wound on the Thunder Boar as it had created this electric shield around itself.

Or it was better to say that it had gathered electricity in its back to protect the area that the flames were hitting.

Iris naturally tried releasing even more flames when she saw the Thunder Boar stopping her flames, but it just wasn't enough to break through the defenses of the Thunder Boar.

But there was one thing that the Thunder Boar didn't expect.

It thought that I had run away because of the charge damage that I took, but I wasn't gone. I had been damaged because of the charge, but that was quickly healed up because I was a slime.

So when I saw that Iris wasn't able to penetrate through the defenses of the Thunder Boar with her flames, I had already started moving towards the Thunder Boar once more.

When I was in position, I gathered my power and then.

The Thunder Boar gave a cry of pain as it was suddenly stabbed in its belly.

I had snuck under it and gathered the iron inside of my stomach to form a single spike that stabbed through the Thunder Boar.
