RISE OF THE MARTIAL GOD

Chapter 70: YES I AM CRAZY

MEYER FAMILY; THE DRAGON CLAN

The moment Kaiser stepped out of the helicopter, he met his mother waiting for him. She looked distressed, an obvious pile of nerves. Kaiser wore his characteristic expressionless face, hiding his emotions. He could already guess the reason she was standing there, looking distressed. He immediately grinned at her, brightening up his expression.

Kaiser stopped before Joyce and draped his coat around her with a smile on his face.

"Mom. Why are you standing outside? Your health has been weak these days, you should get more rest and eat lots of nutritious food. Come, let's go in. I will give you a massage." He whispered and wrapped an arm around her, trying to steer her inside.

Joyce stopped him and pulled away from his arms.

"Kaiser, what have you done this time? You have created a huge mess. How could you…" She began to say, turning to him with a frown on her face.

"Mom, can you not talk about irrelevant things?" He whispered, cupping her cheeks.

"This is not something irrelevant. You caused a huge storm today. You have been summoned to appear in the elders council. And you're already five minutes late. The grand elder personally came to deliver the summon. Do you understand…" Joyce said anxiously.

"Mom." Kaiser whispered, interrupting her.

She looked at him in exasperation. He didn't seem to care about what she was saying, making him worried.

"I know the dragon clan's elders sent for me. Do you think I'm afraid of them?" Kaiser asked, smiling at her.

"Kaiser, no matter how strong you are, you can't fight against the entire dragon clan. No one can win against the whole world. A tree never makes up a forest."

'Then watch me.' Kaiser said in his mind, still watching his mother intently.

"Even though the dragon clan is treacherous and we are always walking on thin ice around here. But tearing off all façade and declaring war against them is not a wise thing to do. They won't take this lying low. Those waiting to instigate problems will finally find an opportunity using this incident." Joyce whispered, holding Kaiser's hand.

"Mom, I know what I'm doing. Have I ever acted rashly without making plans? Like I said, leave all the problems to me. I will solve everything." He whispered and kissed her cheek.

Naturally, Kaiser had his reason for creating trouble on natural television. Most of his actions often appear to be rash and hot blooded. But they were actually well thought out and perfectly executed. Each time he created trouble, he always came out without issue. But everyone simply called it being lucky, not knowing each and every of his actions were well thought out and executed. He was that scheming.

It was also the same this time. Revealing that the rest of the dragon clan wanted to kill his brother and himself would put them in a tight fix, and they won't be able to make rash moves for a while. If someone as powerful as Kaiser suddenly disappeared after his announcement, the dragon clan would be the first to be pointed at. Although they were very powerful and can't be treated using civilian law, a bad reputation wasn't good for business. People can also choose to boycott their products. There's nothing as terrifying as public opinion. So they would rather not face it.

Anthony's disappearance and Kaiser's announcement would make them desist from creating wild problems. Even if it would cause problems for Kaiser, he didn't care one bit. After all, setting the dragon clan ablaze was exactly what he wanted.

Besides, he doesn't fear the dragon clan. If they wanted to come after him because of his little announcement, they were welcome to try. He wouldn't mind beating them till they look more miserable than mangy dogs.

He even wanted them to attack him. At least, he would finally find a reason to unleash the hatred in his heart.

"Kaiser." Joyce whispered helplessly, not knowing what to do with her untameable son. He never listened to anyone, always preferring to handle things in his domineering way. The dragon clan was more dangerous than a snake pit, and she constantly feared for his life. However, there was no solution in sight. It's not as if she could hide him away under her skirt to prevent their enemies from hurting him. He was Kaiser Meyer, controlling him was impossible.

"Mom, I will protect you. Do not worry. Go to your room and wait for me." He whispered and pulled her closer to his chest, letting her rest on his shoulders while caressing her back.

"Kaiser, you have to stay safe no matter what you do. I can't lose you." She whispered and sighed, letting him comfort her.

"Trust me mom, I got this." He whispered and pulled away from her.

"Go upstairs and wait for me. Or better still go to sleep. You need it."

Joyce watched him leave without a backwards glance and entered the Lamborghini that was parked before the terrace. The driver quickly turned it on, and pulled out of the parking lot.

"Kaiser, son. You don't know how many people want to kill you. You're a huge threat to them—a dagger hovering on their necks. With every surprise you unleash, you make them even more panicked. What if they eventually find a way to hurt you? What do you want me to do if I lose both my sons? When will you stop making me worry? Perhaps, it's the fate of every woman who gave birth to a great dragon."

Kaiser kicked open the door to the elders council where more than seventy percent of the clan's stakeholders were seated, waiting for him. The moment he came in, the room went silent, as if someone poured a basin of cold water on them.

His eyes met that of his grandfather who was scowling at him. This time, he didn't bother to hide his unfriendly gaze, same with most of the grand elders.

His eyes moved to the chair meant for the first young master of the dragon clan, the principal heir meant to take over as the next leader of the clan, and his eyes immediately turned glacial. He didn't bother to hide his hostility as he walked towards the spot. Brent was sitting comfortably on the spot reserved for the principal heir, obviously with the support of the rest of the clan.

He stopped beside Brent and looked at him. Brent also looked at him, his gaze delivering a silent challenge to him.

Brent's intentions were simple. The elders were already looking at Kaiser in an unfavorable light. And creating drama because of the heir position would only worsen the situation.

Kaiser also knows this. But does he care? No.

Kaiser scoffed coldly, and smirked at Brent.

"Before you sat down, didn't you examine the spot?" He asked coldly.

"Oh? How about you enlighten me?" Brent asked playfully, and smirked at him, his eyes filled with disdain. He had not been able to swallow the resentment in his heart because of the losses he incurred because of Kaiser. His stomach was full of bile. And he was determined to return the favor.

Kaiser smiled at Brent's obvious provocation and released pressure from his body. Brent casually tried to dispel the pressure. It didn't take a millisecond for him to realize that something was wrong.

He looked up at Kaiser, his eyes filled with shock and horror. Kaiser smiled at him, his eyes kind and playful.

Brent immediately multiplied his efforts to dispel the pressure to no avail. Kaiser's energy totally suppressed him, not letting him breathe properly. Cold sweat covered every inch of his skin, and his shirt immediately soaked with sweat despite the air conditioners in the room. Others didn't notice the reason for Brent's suffering at first, but it didn't take long for them to be enlightened.

Kaiser was suppressing him without letting him move an inch. The gap between their cultivations had widened to the point it became an uncrossable chasm, frightening Brent.

Their grandfather immediately stood up. At this point, a blind person could notice the silent exchange. Kaiser was looking at Brent while wearing his signature wicked smile. As for Brent, he was biting his lips with sweat covering his entire body. Although there was no exaggerated expression of pain on his face—his pride would not allow it, it was still obvious that he was anything but comfortable.

Without warning Kaiser picked him off the seat and flung him at the wall making Brent convulse furiously.

"You dared to sit on a spot meant for the principal heir. Are you qualified? You must have a death wish for daring to rub it in my face." Kaiser said coldly.

"You mad man!" Brent's father shouted, getting to his feet, his eyes red with rage. Brent also got to his feet and quickly circulated his internal energy to heal his injuries. Kaiser used a secret technique to hurt his organs while suppressing him. But his pride wouldn't let him admit it before the entire clan.

Kaiser turned to them with cold eyes.

"Exactly, I'm a mad man. A crazy dog that would bite anyone who dares me, without sparing the bones."
