The First Mythical Dragon: Harem System

Chapter 226: 100 VS 1

The moment the Pincer gang heard the order from Clint, they wasted no time in dashing toward Max because they knew the leader of the dark forces could very well deliver fully on his threats, so they needed to do what had to be done immediately.

Even though the person they were about to confront was staring at them like a demon from the pit of hell with his bloodied face while still gripping Clint's severed hand in his grasp, he watched them approach as if nothing around him mattered at all.

The first to reach his position was the demon vessel who had earlier slaughtered one of the Pincer gang members, and he was the one currently leading the charge. He closed the distance within seconds while Max stood there observing quietly, analysing their movements with sharp eyes only to be interrupted by a sudden swing aimed at his neck.

Snapping back from his observations, Max looked up to see the claws streaking toward him and without wasting a heartbeat, he swung Clint's arm in his hand with brutal force, smashing it into the vessel's face with such impact that the creature staggered several metres away.

Without pausing, the dragon hurled the arm like a projectile, his strength so immense that the weapon broke the sound barrier.

In an instant, the improvised projectile crashed into the creature's head again, blood bursting from its mouth as the vessel was lifted off his feet and sent hurtling into a nearby building, smashing through the wall and skidding far into the rubble.

All of this happened just as the humans reached Max, who still looked like he had no concern in the world while weapons streaked toward him from every direction.

Daggers, knives, bike chains, metallic bats and other random street weapons came at him while he was surrounded from all corners and unconsciously pushed into their midst.

The first attacker reached him, thrusting a dagger toward Max's abdomen, but the dragon simply lifted his leg, blocking the weapon as the blade clanged against his scaled shin with a sharp metallic ring.

Like a coiled spring, Max's leg shot forward, slamming into the attacker's stomach with a thunderous impact. Blood spurted from the man's mouth as he was lifted off the ground and sent crashing into several others, knocking them all to the ground like bowling pins.

A bike chain then came streaking toward Max's head, prompting him to tilt his head aside to evade the strike. Before the chain could retract, he snatched it out of the air and yanked it with tremendous power, pulling the wielder straight toward him.

In one swift motion, he caught the attacker by the throat, his eyes flashing bright yellow as more gang members rushed at him with reckless desperation. Max could feel their fear, anger and confusion mixing together like a chaotic storm.

'I can't kill them. I have a use for this gang once everything here is over. My group needs more members, more reach, more influence. I plan to make use of this gang and Ava for that.' Max reminded himself calmly as he spun around and hurled the man in his grip, sending his body flying far across the battlefield.

'But I can at least injure them badly,' he smirked inwardly as he leaned forward. The ground cracked with each pressure of his toes and then, like a bullet, he blasted ahead at immense speed, moving like a blur cutting through the air.

He appeared in front of one of the men who swiftly swung his metallic bat horizontally toward Max. The dragon quickly leaped a few inches back, causing the bat to slice through the empty space where he had stood a heartbeat earlier.

[Ruler's Hand Activated]

Max's hands glowed a bright blue as he held one behind him. Suddenly, a man who had tried sneaking up on him began glowing the same eerie color. With a sharp twirl of Max's wrist, the man was violently sent hurtling into the only building in sight, crashing through the wall with a loud thud.

Meanwhile, the bat wielder in front of him wasted no time in charging at him again with another furious swing. Max calmly tilted his head to the side, letting the metal skim past before he smashed his palm into the man's abdomen. Blood sprayed from the man's mouth as his eyes rolled back, his unconscious body sailing through the air.

That small lapse as he handled the others allowed the remaining dozens of men to suddenly close in from all corners, refusing to give him breathing space. He didn't need it. Max spread his arms wide.

[Draconic Force Palm Activated]

CLAP!

KA-BOOOM!

A massive shockwave burst from his position, slamming into the attackers with such devastating force that their eyes nearly rolled backward. They were blasted away in every direction, thrown across the clearing while the cracked ground trembled beneath Max's feet. Bodies hit the earth like ragdolls, bouncing and sliding before going still.

They could be seen coughing blood, their internal organs feeling ruptured as their heads spun. Most struggled to even breathe, let alone rise. Only the second demon vessel managed to shrug off the attack and dash forward at full speed, his movements wild and desperate.

He swung his fist toward Max's face with every ounce of strength he could muster. Without even looking in his direction, the dragon moved like a phantom, snatching the arm into a tight lock. With a brutal tug, the entire limb tore free, causing the vessel to unleash a scream of unbearable pain.

"Here, eat your own fist," Max muttered coldly as he swung the severed arm and shoved it straight into the vessel's mouth. The force was so sudden that the vessel's eyes bulged. Without wasting a moment, Max's arms thickened with power as he slapped his palm across the vessel's cheek.

The slap twisted the vessel's whole face instantly, launching his body away with a thunderous bang. Max stood there, breathing softly, eyes fixed ahead on Clint who continued munching on humans again and again, like nothing else existed.

He was about to take a step forward, but before he could, the humans began recovering from the earlier blast. They started to stir, groaning weakly. Alongside them, the first demon vessel Max had hurled into the building burst out of the crumbled wall with blood dripping from his mouth, fury burning in his gaze.
