"What's this?" Anders asked his son when Anton handed him the first scroll of Town Portal, which was transferred from the game to real life instead of the usual minor healing or minor mana potion.
"It's a scroll of the Base Portal spell. During an emergency, just tear it apart, and a portal will appear that will let you travel to a safe place that you've designated. Just hold the scroll, and it will allow you to set a specific place as your home base, and when you tear it apart, the portal will lead to that home base. You can control when to close the portal, but the only people who will be able to enter the portal are the ones you've designated as members of your party system. You know how the Party System worked, father, since it's the same process with the legendary weapon, the Insight Spear," Anton told his father.
After that conversation, Anders needed to go to the team's meeting hall to have a meeting with his adventurer group. Anton was just happy that his father's progress was extremely quick, and soon he would be able to rival the most powerful warriors that he had seen on the walls of Mendoza.
Anders did ask Anton if he should go and join him in defending Mendoza from the Undead Coalition, but Anders declined.
"It would be best if you focused on powering up, Father, so by the time that you're truly needed to fight, you will have the power to contend with the most powerful undead."
After Anton had said that, Anders just nodded and left for his meeting. Anton started roaming around the manor, greeting everyone, while being followed by Mr. Jenkins. Luna and Alfred were still with their tutors.
The butler told him the daily activities of the siblings. Luna had her own circle of friends, all girls her age. The elves Laloniah and her three elven friends were also part of Luna's circle. According to Mr. Jenkins, the ladies roam around in the nearby places, spending a lot of gold coins to buy the things they fancy. Apparently, her allowance that she received from Anders was extremely generous. By virtue of Luna being part of the family that produced the movies, she was ultimately the ringleader of her group. With the influence of her friends, Luna persuaded Anders that by next semester, she would be going with them to some sort of academy for girls that teaches all sorts of things, like noble etiquette on top of the normal academic subjects.
Alfred also had his own group of friends, and just like his sister, he was also the ringleader of his group and the only thing they did all day after his lessons was explore the surrounding areas, pretending to be part of the story of whatever movie they fancied to play at that time.
Anton was just glad that both Luna and Alfred seemed to be adjusting well to their life in the manor. It was a little sad that he wasn't able to get close to them like he was close to his friends back on the ship. Anton knew that his excuse of being busy delving into the dungeon and now the war with the undead was just that. An excuse. If he was forced to be honest, Anton was still wary of becoming close to anyone. Maybe someday, once he was fully healed emotionally, he would be able to have friends again and share the excitement that the culture from Earth had previously given him.

The movies, television shows, anime, and web novels were still there, but for now, Anton felt that he could not truly enjoy them as long as the threat that was the Undead Coalition was around.
During lunch, Luna and Alfred were surprised that Anton was back, and he admitted to them that he had developed a spell that allowed him to teleport home immediately every couple of days or so.
"Ooh, that means that you can give us new television shows!" Luna said.
"I want the car…cartoon that Uncle Anders told us about. I think its name is ...Ivatar or something!" Alfred exclaimed.
"No! I want the show about the ship that flies into the star to explore new worlds!" Luna said.
"It's Avatar, The Last Airbender. The one with the ship is called Star Trek: The Next Generation. After lunch, I'll be leaving for Mendoza again and will only be back after a couple of days, so I'll give you an hour to decide which one. Once you two have decided, come to me in my room.
After lunch, Anders told Anton to take care while he was in Mendoza. Anton then went to his room, cast the Blizzard spell that was converted to Mana Rain since he truly enjoys the sound of the rain, and started resting. A few minutes had passed, and he heard knocking on his door. When he told them to enter, as expected, it was Luna and Alfred.
"What is that!" Alfred asked, pointing at the glowing portal.
"That's the spell that would allow me to go to Mendoza instantly. So, have you decided which one you want?"
Luna laughed and told him that Alfred won their Rock Paper Scissors game and that meant they chose the Avatar, The Last Airbender. Anton immediately gave them three small globes of browser sharing containing the first three episodes of season one of the cartoon and reminded them to copy the show to a magic item recorder.
The siblings excitedly left his room, and after that, Anton entered his portal to return to his apartment in Mendoza. Once he was back, he immediately dismissed the portal and inspected his rooms to check if there was any disturbance that would signal that his portal had been discovered, but there seemed to be none.
Anton then opened his Diablo II system to continue leveling up his ladder Amazon, but before he could start, he heard a knock on his door.
It turned out to be Cedon. Anton invited the young supreme wizard inside and asked Cedon what he needed.
"We agree that we will prioritize giving your tablets to warriors first," Cedon said solemnly.
At first, Anton would have asked, "Where's my magic contract!" but then, he didn't want to be noticed anymore by causing a commotion due to the sensitive nature of his new portal skill. What he wanted was to be left alone for now, so he simply nodded at Cedon and immediately gave the wizard a Dire Wolf summoning tablet.
Cedon looked surprised first and then smiled. The wizard probably thought that Anton had come to his senses. After the supreme wizard left, Anton started leveling up his ladder Amazon and only stopped when it was time for him to sleep.
Five hours of playing allowed Anton to level up the Amazon character to level forty. Even though he was still extremely slow, he was satisfied with that, since he truly couldn't copy how gamers play because it was highly different for him.
By midnight, Anton was in his station inside the long-range and magic-strengthening array, casting spells toward the undead army. Anton wondered how the coalition managed to gather such a humongous amount of undead despite the wizards of Mendoza destroying thousands of them each night.
He knew that powerful spellcasters from the Coalition had a way to recycle those undead that was not thoroughly destroyed, but he thought that more than likely, the portal that they had managed to establish, which supposedly led back to Rendindura, allowed them to bring a huge number of undead from Anton's old continent.
