Shen Jingqi signaled everyone to stop, then quietly approached. Through a broken window, he saw a group of mysterious organization members gathered in front of a massive pit. Strange instruments surrounded the pit, flickering with eerie lights.

"What are they doing?" Xu An whispered, his eyes fixed on the pit.

Shen Jingqi shook his head and said, "I don't know, but it must be related to the ruins. We need to find a way to get closer and take a look."

They quietly moved to the other side of the pit. As they got closer, they discovered there seemed to be a passage beneath the pit. The members of the mysterious organization were entering the passage one by one, disappearing into the darkness.

"Let's follow them," Shen Jingqi said softly, then was the first to jump into the pit. The others followed suit and jumped in one after another.

The passage was filled with a pungent smell, and the walls flickered with dim lights, creating a sinister and terrifying atmosphere. They walked cautiously, ears perked, alert to any movement around them.

Suddenly, a burst of gunfire erupted from ahead. Shen Jingqi's heart tightened, and he quickly signaled everyone to take cover. They hid around a corner of the passage, peeking out to see the members of the mysterious organization fighting a group of people dressed in black armor. Those in black armor were agile and wielded advanced weapons, gradually overwhelming the mysterious organization members.

"Who are those in the black armor?" a policeman asked in surprise.

Shen Jingqi frowned and said, "I don't know, but they are certainly not friendly. Let's observe the situation first."

The battle intensified, with casualties on both sides. Shen Jingqi noticed that those in the black armor seemed to be guarding a certain area of the passage, while the mysterious organization members were desperately trying to break through.

"Shen Jingqi, should we step in to help?" Xu An asked, a hint of hesitation in his eyes.

Shen Jingqi thought for a moment and said, "It's unclear what's going on right now. Acting rashly might bring us trouble. Let's wait and see."

Just then, the members of the mysterious organization suddenly used a strange weapon. It emitted a dazzling light, forcing the people in black armor back several steps. Sensing the unfavorable situation, the black-armored individuals swiftly turned to flee. The mysterious organization members didn't give chase but instead headed deeper into the passage.

"Let's go, follow them," Shen Jingqi said, leading everyone carefully behind.

They followed the mysterious organization members into a huge chamber. The room was filled with ancient artifacts and books, and the walls were covered with strange symbols. Shen Jingqi and Xu An recognized at once that the symbols were identical to those recorded in their notes.

"This is the core area of the ruins!" Xu An exclaimed excitedly, his eyes gleaming with light.

The mysterious organization members began searching the room. They flipped through books and moved artifacts, seemingly looking for something important. Shen Jingqi and his team stayed hidden in the shadows, quietly observing.

Suddenly, the leader of the mysterious organization discovered an ancient book. He excitedly picked it up, flipped through it, and displayed a triumphant smile.

"We found it, this is what we're looking for," the leader said loudly.

Shen Jingqi's heart tightened; he knew the ancient book was likely the key to unlocking the secret of the symbols. He glanced at Xu An, determination in his eyes.

"We need to seize that ancient book," Shen Jingqi said in a low voice.

Xu An nodded and said, "Alright, but we must be cautious; the mysterious organization members won't be easy to deal with."

They quietly moved closer to the mysterious organization members. When close enough, Shen Jingqi shouted, "Action!" and charged forward. The others followed, launching a fierce fight with the mysterious organization members.

The battle erupted instantly, shouts and gunfire mingling together. Shen Jingqi wielded his weapon, engaging in direct confrontation with the leader of the mysterious organization. The leader was highly skilled, his attacks fierce and swift, and Shen Jingqi was gradually overpowered.

"Shen Jingqi, watch out!" Xu An shouted from the side, and fired a shot at the leader. The leader dodged sideways, then rushed angrily toward Xu An.

Seeing this, Shen Jingqi swiftly pursued. Seizing the opportunity, he kicked the leader in the back. The leader staggered forward a few steps, then turned around, glaring viciously at Shen Jingqi.

"You underestimate me!" the leader sneered, pulling out a remote control from his pocket and pressing a button.

Suddenly, the room's ground began to tremble, and cracks appeared on the walls. Startled, Shen Jingqi realized the leader had activated some sort of mechanism.

"Everyone, run!" Shen Jingqi shouted, grabbing Xu An and rushing toward the exit. The others also started to run.

When they reached the exit, they found it was blocked by a massive stone. The mysterious organization members were also trapped inside.

"What should we do? We're trapped," a policeman said anxiously, despair on his face.

Frowning, Shen Jingqi searched for other exits. Suddenly, he noticed a hidden door on the wall. He pushed it open forcefully, revealing a narrow passage inside.

"This way!" Shen Jingqi said, then led the way into the passage. The others quickly followed.

The passage was filled with a pungent odor, and the walls flickered with dim lights. They walked carefully, unsure of what awaited them ahead.

They didn't know how long they walked, but eventually, they emerged from the passage. Outside, they found themselves in a mountain valley shrouded in thick fog, obscuring the road ahead.

"Where is this?" Xu An asked, a hint of confusion in his eyes.

Shen Jingqi shook his head and said, "I don't know, but we should leave as quickly as possible. The mysterious organization members might catch up at any moment."

They began searching for a way out of the valley. However, the landscape was treacherous, filled with steep slopes and bottomless ravines. They walked for a long time without finding a way out.

"This isn't working; we might get lost," a policeman said, fatigue showing on his face.

Shen Jingqi was also anxious, but he knew they couldn't panic now. He carefully observed the surroundings, trying to find some clues.

Suddenly, he spotted an ancient building on one side of the valley.

The building looked very dilapidated, surrounded by a faint mist.

As the light changed, the fog suddenly surged up.
