Marvelous Mecha

Chapter 365: Exhausted Warrior_1

"Damn, damn it!" Duolin realized she had been deceived. The man in black's true target was the Sword Dragon. Everything that happened before was just to confuse her. It was a classic decoy strategy.

The time taken to hesitate allowed her opponent to get closer to the Sword Dragon, and given its current physical state, it definitely couldn't avoid the man in black. If it were to be subjected again to that level of intense attack, then even they both in a full-strength condition would scarcely be able to withstand it.

Watching the scene unfold before her, Duolin didn't hesitate any longer and rushed in, "Sword Dragon..." she screamed the Sword Dragon's name hysterically, but it was too late.

Between the raising of his hand and the dropping of his blade, Feng Yi's military knife pointed directly at the Sword Dragon's heart. Suddenly, everything in front of Feng Yi turned pitch black, and he felt a dizzy spell coming on.

Boom! Unexpectedly, the attack was deflected, and the Sword Dragon on the ground seemed to easily neutralize the man in black's offensive. His attack didn't even touch it? Although Duolin knew that the man in black was at the end of his rope, this was definitely an abnormal situation.

Damn, did he lose too much blood? That attack was made by Feng Yi who mustered all his strength, using almost his last ounce of energy. It was a fierce assault, filled with resignation and a sense of helplessness. At this moment, his body began to sway unsteadily.

Feeling the vibration transmitted from the ground, and looking at the furious Duolin, Feng Yi knew that he couldn't delay any longer. His body was already nearing its limit!

"Heh!" With a gust of wind and a howl, a combat stance like a storm, Feng Yi blasted Duolin towards the distance. With a leap, he swiftly disappeared from sight.

"Not so fast." Before he got too far, several Mirror Walls suddenly blocked his escape route.

Feng Yi smashed through the Mirror Walls with two powerful punches, disappearing completely. However, Duolin had a smirk at the corner of her mouth. She quickly returned to the Sword Dragon's side to check its condition, "Sir, are you alright?"

The Sword Dragon shook its head to indicate it was unharmed. The approach of the Gold-Eating Beast was visible to the naked eye. Within half a minute it would reach them, he reminded Duolin that they needed to leave soon.

Duolin nodded and skillfully pulled out a magnetic levitation vehicle from the Space Crystal. Not until the vehicle started to float did the Sword Dragon breathe a sigh of relief. Thinking of the man in black, thinking of his almost wrecked arms and legs, he suddenly gave the vehicle a strong punch, producing a metallic clang, "Damn it!"

"Sir, you..."

"The responsibility is mine. I was careless." The unwilling Sword Dragon stated. If he had known that the enemy was so strong- No, he should have guessed that anyone on the Death Planet was not an ordinary person. If he had taken the time to plan for the battle, it would not have ended like this. Perhaps the enemy could have been destroyed before they even realized what was happening.

Though Duolin was somewhat resistant to the thought, everything was done for the greater good. A mischievous smile appeared on her face, "Haha, it's rare to see such a frustrated look on Mr. Sword Dragon's face."

The Sword Dragon was taken aback for a moment, not understanding why Duolin was joking at such a time. Until he saw that, Duolin had everything under control, something seemed off. Yes, her confident gaze revealed something unusual, "You have a plan."

"Don't worry. I've left a mental mark on him. As long as he's within the range of Death Planet X, he won't be able to escape."

"What!?" There was a joyous look on Sword Dragon's face. "Well done, you're undoubtedly our beautiful special agent." Without wasting any more time, he started rummaging through the Space Crystal for a healing potion.

"Idiot, don't move yet. Wait, I'll help you heal..." Duolin's face turned slightly red and her voice was filled with concern. Somehow, she has dared to call Sword Dragon an idiot.

Sword Dragon didn't get angry. He put his hands up in surrender. However, that man in black was truly fearsome. If they weren't on a mission, he would love to have an opponent like that to spar with. To be honest, given the conditions on the Death Planet, none of the fighters could reach their full potential. Therefore, the outcome was still unknown.

Meanwhile, Feng Yi had managed to stagger a considerable distance away from where the battle had started. His current physical state was far from good. In fact, during the fight, he had been pushing his dizzy body to continue fighting. It wasn't until everything in front of him turned pitch black that he realized he had reached his limit.

He had lost nearly all of his blood. If he hadn't given himself a blood-boosting injection during the escape process, he would not have been able to hold out until now.

But the wound was too deep. Holding back the dizziness, Feng Yi tore open his shirt and tightly wound it several times around the wound on his abdomen. He was unsure if he could hold on until the end. He did not dare to bring out his combat vehicle again, suspecting that the enemy's attack probably contained some form of tracking device.

As a hunter lurking in the jungle, revealing his position would undoubtedly be like signing his own death warrant. He had already left a mental mark on that woman during his last storm stance attack, but he couldn't be sure whether she had done the same to him.

Forget it, why was he worrying so much in the current situation? His powerless body could not hold on any longer. The temperature difference on the Death Planet was extreme. If he collapsed on the spot, it could be fatal.

With a thud, dust sprang up from the ground and swirled in the air. His body could feel the ground's searing temperature. Feng Yi finally collapsed. It wasn't until the moment he fell to the ground, until he realized he had no strength left to activate the Space Crystal, that he felt oddly regretful.

The survival rule told him that even in death, he shouldn't reveal his position to his enemies. But, in the end rules are rules. Perhaps some of them were getting outdated? If he had taken out his combat vehicle or could fly a few minutes ago, the results would be different. But even so, he wouldn't regret his decision. After all, there is no such thing as a regret pill in this world, just like Lasso that remains in the depths of his memory.

People are not as strong as one might imagine, even himself. Suddenly he felt the drain on his strength, it was like a flood that swept through his entire body.

Damn it, his strength was completely depleted. Does this mean that his time had come to an end?

Looking up at the dazzling blue sky, what an incredibly bright sight it was. But right now, he didn't even have the strength to blink. He was so tired, his eyelids were fighting to close.

For some reason, his thoughts inexplicably went back many years, to Xiao Ai...

Xiao Ai, a girl who appeared strong but had a fragile heart. She was quiet and incredibly intelligent. She liked to drag him around and explore all over the 103rd Colonial Planet, liked to bribe all kinds of powerful guys. Perhaps because of this she'd ensnared him, she was very sly.

But in reality, she wasn't very courageous. A girl who cried and laughed, dared to love and hate. Only in front of people she knew well would she often reveal her true character, occasionally slobbish, occasionally furious, occasionally seductive, and occasionally acted coyly.

Amelia, huh. It seems he still couldn't let go of that damned woman.

Feng Yi slowly closed his eyes...
