Chapter 386: Genuine Space

Light clone Xiang Yu thought to himself that being in this space was really relaxing.

He guessed it was probably because of the void flame that liked this sort of thing.

Before, he had the idea to train the void flame in space but didn’t feel comfortable staying inside folds of space for extended periods as he didn’t know if the heavenly dao restrictions applied in there.

What if some strong monster was crossing through space and found him there?

But now that he had his own space, he could go all out and train the flame as much as he wanted.

Although he said training in space, in actuality, it was more like training in the void. The flame would be trained in the void through stimulation and fed space that Xiang Yu produced. This way, he felt it could increase its rate of progression by quite a bit.

He then raised his head and gazed at the stars revolving around each other in the distance. There were ten of them now, but something had happened after hitting that number – he didn’t seem to be able to create anymore of them.

He held his chin in thought. He understood that it was the upper limit of his mind stat but still didn’t understand why he couldn’t breakthrough by force like he had theorized before.

If he could create a few more stars, wouldn’t he be able to force his mind beyond its limits and induce a breakthrough? But to do this, he needed to be able to create more in the first place. It seemed he was stuck.

After some thought, he realized something he had missed. “Imaginary space.” The issue was how the stars were made. Since the stars were made through imaginary space, there was a limit to how much one could make because imaginary space relied on his mind level.

If he wanted to make more stars, he could either breakthrough his mind level to raise the cap, or he could expand more genuine space into his spiritual sea and create genuine stars.

Both seemed extremely hard as creating genuine space to the level of accommodating another star would be incredibly difficult.

Even so, he felt that these two were actually closely related. By continuing to expand more genuine space, the weight of the space would probably stimulate his mind level and might result in a breakthrough. When that happened, he would create more imaginary stars as they were already accomplishing their job as is.

After that, he would use the expanded genuine space to create a genuine star.

He wouldn’t make it completely out of qi but would use his ten elements and other domains to form genuine materials for the world to come about. He felt that if he did this, he might be able to glimpse the extreme opposite of Absolute End.

He believed the extreme opposite would be something that births everything – not like the empress’s creation law but rather something else entirely. He felt that watching the creation of a star from scratch might allow him to glimpse it.

Another benefit for having a genuine star was that he could slowly incorporate more and more concepts into it, slowly making it complete. And since things in the chaos naturally gravitate towards order, he felt that the world might start slowly completing itself as it grew, slowly unlocking more and more concepts, allowing him to access all sorts of concepts through it.

He sighed. Still, this was just a theory and he still had to find a way to actually make it work for real. He closed his eyes and continued running a few simulations in his head to test for different outcomes as the main soul continued expanding the void.

This is why I always have back to back action. Leave this guy alone for a second and he really might ascend. Not even I can stop him.

“heavenly dao restrictions applied in there” : here he means he doesn’t know if he’s still inside this mortal world while in the folds of space. Meaning he doesnt know if some super op guy can get to him as the heavenly dao isn’t protecting him when he isn’t in the world. In reality, the space is still in the mortal world so his worries are unfounded.

“continued running a few simulations in his head to test for different outcomes” not battle simulations, just doing some insane maths with all sorts of variables to test out some theories he has. That’s mostly what the light clone does all day.
