The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 63: 063 Wu Qiming

Wu Qiming's Green Blood Divine Net was extremely fierce, with the Green Flame it wove being a type of Demon Fire. The three hundred Demon Beasts brought by Geng Kun each possessed over a thousand years of Dao Level, and the energy contained within the inner core they spat out was quite formidable. They had varied elemental attributes such as water, fire, wind, and poison, yet they could not break through the net in the slightest.

The flames emanating from Shi Feiyang's Divine Fire Inner Core were True Yang Fire of the Immortal class, which was the natural enemy of that Demon Fire and fundamentally different from the Demon Fire emitted by the group of demons.

Countless Fire Bulls, Fire Horses, Fire Eagles, and Fire Tigers flew in swarms. The group of demons thought they would be burnt by the Green Fire just like they were, but when the two forces collided, there was a crackling explosion. The Fire Bulls and Fire Snakes indeed burst into pieces, but so did the overwhelming Green Flames, which turned into wisp after wisp of blue smoke.

A vast number of Fire Beasts and Fire Birds took to the skies. After a dense series of explosions, the thousands of dangling Green Flames were massively extinguished, leaving an emptiness above the group of demons.

These fire creatures, derived from his Dan Fire, were even more formidable than actual beasts. Now, even Geng Kun couldn't help but view them with fresh eyes.

The Divine Fire Inner Core spun endlessly in the sky, endlessly producing more Fire Birds and Fire Beasts. Soaring in great numbers, they first wiped out the hanging Green Fire, then swooped toward the body of the Green Blood Divine Net.

A massive hole had been blown in the fire net in the heavens by Geng Kun, and now it faced even greater losses upon contact with these Fire Beasts and Fire Birds. Suddenly, the Green Flame giant net, which had covered tens of miles, began to contract, retracting to the size of a few acres in a few breaths, then as swiftly as a whale sucking water, it converged into a single line and shot toward the island before entering a void above Merfolk Island.

Seeing the location hiding the person in control, Shi Feiyang emitted another wave of Dan Qi. His Divine Fire Inner Core, accompanied by thousands of Fire Birds and Fire Beasts, rushed directly towards that spot.

"You beast, how dare you!" With an angry roar, a cloud appeared out of thin air, and on its surface stood a black-clothed, thin Daoist. He raised his hand to release the Green Spirit Saber, and a clear, translucent green light shot out, blocking the Inner Core.

Shi Feiyang first continuously emitted Dan Qi, increasing the energy of the Divine Fire Inner Core, urging it to charge forward and smash wildly. The opponent's Saber carried a surprisingly strong Mana, retreating only a few yards with each collision, still firmly holding its ground, and even able to push back.

Shi Feiyang then maneuvered the Inner Core to roll up and down, with flames flying in all directions, using clever force. The person unfolded his Sword Skill, splitting the air with a sky full of green light, yet still managing to hold on.

It turned out this thin Daoist was none other than Wu Qiming. Shi Feiyang inwardly exclaimed, finding this man to be quite formidable.

Little did they know, Geng Kun in the heavens, the surrounding group of demons, and even Wu Qiming's entire sect below were all immensely shocked.

In their eyes, Wu Qiming possessed great Mana, especially with that Green Spirit Saber which made the group of demons tremble with fear. It was forged from Cold Iron and imbued with countless deadly poisons and curses, making knowledgeable Cultivators headache-ridden, as none were willing to face him in battle, and the alien species were all the more terrified upon hearing of it.

Wu Qiming, with this Demon Blade, had been invincible across the seas, and it was this confidence that encouraged him to battle Geng Kun.

But now, this Black Dragon had appeared out of nowhere, able to put him on the defensive with just an Inner Core, and the shame and rage under the public's eye mixed as he constantly emitted True Qi. He altered his Sword Skill, wielding that Saber into countless shadows tens of yards long, intertwining into a net for a fierce attack.

Shi Feiyang thought that since this was the opposing sect's most formidable Hierarch, it was best not to try to be too strong and chose to entangle him with only one Divine Fire Inner Core.

Upon seeing this, Geng Kun burst into laughter and shouted from high above the clouds, "Wu Qiming, you can't even defeat my apprentice's nephew. If I make another move, you'll be scurrying away in disgrace!"

He commanded the assembled demons to regroup and launch another attack. Birds with spread wings plunged towards the sky above the island, firing their feather-formed Flying Swords at anyone they saw; Yuan Ming ceaselessly spewed fireballs, leading hundreds of beasts to charge onto the island; the stronger demon beasts from the sea also landed one after another, while the weaker ones continued in the waters, collectively spitting their inner cores to stir winds and waves, pushing massive clouds towards the island and creating a sudden downpour of hail.

As for Wu Qiming, he had crafted the Green Blood Divine Net with plans to capture most, if not all, of the demon beasts brought by Geng Kun, then personally entangle Geng Kun while his disciples set up an array, intending to severely weaken Roc Bay's primordial force.

Who would have known that a Black Dragon would throw a wrench into his plans, first blowing up one of his disciples and then aiding Geng Kun in extensively damaging the Green Blood Divine Net, even resisting his Mountain Suppressing Treasure Saber.

Seeing the demon beasts land on the island, wreck the houses, and slaughter the islanders, his disciples and followers screamed in agony as they were massacred. Wu Qiming, in a flurry of panic and rage, kept spurting True Qi to energize the Green Spirit Saber. The Demon Blade buzzed resonantly, releasing a large expanse of Green Poison Fog that enveloped the Divine Fire Inner Core. He had his eye on this Demon Dragon Core, intending to forcibly extract it; using it later in medicine would significantly increase his Effort, and it would endow great power to any Magical Treasure he crafted.

Shi Feiyang kept retracting the Divine Fire Inner Core, not giving the opponent a chance to cast a spell and snatch it away, retreating to a distance of a hundred yards ahead.

Wu Qiming was still aggressively insatiable. The further away his Flying Sword Magical Treasure, the greater the mana it consumed. At this point, the Sword Skill and Dan Qi were too far from him, and even standing at a distance using all his mana, he could no longer overwhelm the inner core, so he left his position and flew closer to Shi Feiyang.

Shi Feiyang turned and left, retreating around the island while continuing to fight.

Wu Qiming pursued relentlessly. A storm of anxiety and anger raged in his heart. Eventually, he no longer cared about maintaining a distance. A Demon Beast's body was formidable, and with a clever slap, it could shatter his physical form. Therefore, humans and demons always needed to keep their distance in a duel, striking from afar.

The gigantic Dragon Body, several dozen yards in length, was evidently formidable. He had initially dared not get too close, but now, with the demons ravaging the island and Geng Kun nowhere to be seen, he cast aside all other concerns and, relying on his Mysterious Skill transformation, flew straight towards the Giant Dragon. In a blink, he closed in to within a hundred yards, throwing a thunderous strike that created nine streams of Green Flame snaking towards the front. He then expelled a breath of Green Light to envelope the Divine Fire Inner Core, forcibly restraining it before swinging the Green Spirit Saber at the Dragon Body.

Shi Feiyang sensed the viciousness of the Green Spirit Saber and exhaled a stream of True Water Dan Qi to envelop the saber, forcefully restraining it...

Both used common techniques, utilizing mana to suppress each other's weapons while attacking with their own, to see whose weapon would break free first.

This contest showcased the disparity in Effort between the man and the dragon:

The Green Spirit Saber, wrapped in Dan Qi, jerked up and down, hacked left and right, but its movements were severely sluggish as if mired in glue.

Meanwhile, five streams of flame burst from the Divine Fire Inner Core, scorching the surrounding Green Poison Fog, which began to smoke. Wu Qiming's Prohibition Technique relied on this fog to take effect. In mere moments, the Five-Colored Flames transformed into five Fire Dragons that flew out of the inner core, encircling and sweeping away all the poison fog, then, along with the inner core, charged towards Wu Qiming.

Wu Qiming watched helplessly as his Prohibition Technique fell apart, with the inner core leading five Fire Dragons straight at him, and his Green Spirit Saber still bound and unable to retract. In desperation, he released a Protective Dharma Treasure and, biting the tip of his tongue, sprayed out Essence Blood to forcibly recall the Green Spirit Saber.

But what he didn't know was that Shi Feiyang had a True Water Inner Core that firmly held his Green Spirit Saber in place. In his haste, he was unable to retrieve it; a brief delay and the Divine Fire Inner Core collided with his Protective Dharma Treasure, immediately shattering it into a blaze of light. Wu Qiming was too late to escape, and his physical body was blown to pieces.

He roared in fury, his Primordial Spirit escaping the flames and splitting into three, revealing his cultivated Three Corpses Primordial Spirit.

The three identical Wu Qimings, instead of fleeing, all cast spells simultaneously and lunged at Shi Feiyang again.
