The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 415: Let the sword go 2

Since then, the village of Lv had suffered continuous flash floods year after year, and the villagers could only flee to higher grounds to settle anew. Yet, they still couldn't bear to abandon their fertile farmlands and continued to cultivate them.

The original manor master of the Lv family manor was named Lv Xianming, who had been studying Daoism at Hua Mountain for many years. Back then, when Shi Nanxi took the Huashan Sect to cause trouble at the Mingyu Immortal Market, Shi Feiyang wiped them all out in one fell swoop.

At that time, Lv Xianming was home visiting relatives and not at Hua Mountain, so he escaped the catastrophe. Upon returning to Hua Mountain later, there were still a few fellow martial brothers alive. He initially thought the Fiery Fire Ancestor would invite fellow Daoists to go to Tianjin and seek revenge. Unexpectedly, the Fiery Fire Ancestor lost his mind and killed three of his martial brothers and captured their souls to refine magical treasures.

Actually, the Fiery Fire Ancestor hadn't always been so deranged; it stemmed from the time when Shi Feiyang broke through the Rotary Temple. Deng Bagu and Huo Wuhai had a brief skirmish with the Huashan Sect, and he took a liking to Huo Wuhai.

Since then, he was haunted by the thought of how wonderful it would be if he had a disciple like Huo Wuhai to carry on his legacy. Unfortunately, someone like Huo Wuhai was one of a kind in this world, and despite his efforts he never encountered another, and his inquiries through others turned up nothing.

With his disciples slaughtered, the Fiery Fire Ancestor, too, was struck hard. He picked the disciple he valued most among those remaining, intending to throw him into the Furnace of Eight Diagrams and use the Supreme Heaven Fierce Fire Formation to refine his physical body, then continuously fire his Primordial Spirit, making him cultivate within the flames. He would nurture him diligently using Daoist alchemical techniques from the outside, ultimately making him into a Fire Essence like Huo Wuhai.

This disciple nearly wet himself with fright at the proposition, not daring to commit to such a sacrifice. This method was theoretically feasible, but not only were there risks of unforeseen accidents, the at least sixty years of excruciating pain from Fiery Fire Soul Refining was more than any ordinary person could bear; wasn't it essentially like entering Fire Burning Hell?

The first disciple disagreed, the second disciple disagreed, and so did the third.

Driven to a fierce rage, the Fiery Fire Ancestor, who had treated them well normally, now saw his sect facing extinction and, most infuriatingly, couldn't even rely on the Wutai Sect. Taiyin Hunyuan Ancestor had been swayed by Xu Feiniang's manipulations and gone off to make alliances with the Shi family!

Now with no one to rely on but himself, he drew the Fiery Fire Thunder Sound Sword and slaughtered all three disciples, refining them into the Supreme Heaven Fierce Fire Flag.

The Supreme Heaven Fierce Fire Formation, originally an array from the Immortal Realm, was first mastered by the Huashan Sect and then developed further through joint study with the Wutai Sect. Limited by their talents and comprehension, it was primarily led by the Taiyin Hunyuan Ancestor who had the most insights. Now, with the two sects split, he needed other methods to enhance the array's power. So, he followed the suggestions Xing Kun and Yuan Da once gave him, adding a Main Primordial Spirit to each Fire Flag.

After witnessing the murder of his three martial brothers, Lv Xianming was scared out of his wits and hurriedly fled Hua Mountain, not even daring to return home. He hid in the deep forests of the Yun Gui Plateau for many years, afraid to show his face.

This was also why Huashan had been taken over by a group of Jianghu knights; the Fiery Fire Ancestor had gone off to join the Western Sect. Most of his disciples had been killed by Shi Feiyang, with their Primordial Spirits still drifting in lanterns at the Mingyu Immortal Market. The remaining ones either got slaughtered by the Fiery Fire Ancestor with their souls refined into the Fire Flags or fled to the ends of the earth, utterly terrified.

Lv Xianming fled to the Miao Border, living in constant trepidation. Later, he heard that there were three sect hierarchs in Liuren Village who also practiced Fire Element Daoist Techniques and were disciples of Grandmaster Ha Ha; he went to take them as his masters. Over the years, he diligently practiced and significantly improved his Daoist Techniques. Hearing that the Fiery Fire Ancestor had left for the West long ago and had not returned for many years, and that Huashan was now occupied by mere mortal swordsmen, he finally felt relieved and returned to Lv Family Manor to visit his family.

Upon arriving in the village, the elders and fellow villagers treated him like a divine savior and told him about the changes in the village.

Lv Xianming flew up into the sky to survey the situation and declared that the geomantic changes were caused by a mountain collapse, where the Dragon Vein of Lv Village had been severed, and all its fortunes had shifted to Dai Village. The best course of action was to take over Dai Village, after which Lü and Dai would merge into one large village. They would reside in Dai Family Field on the west side and farm on the east side at Lv Family Manor; such an arrangement would surely bring harmonious weather and thriving progeny.

There had always been discord between Lv and Dai Villages over disputes concerning water and land rights; Lv Xianming saw this as an opportunity to expand upon and aspired to annex Dai Family Field and relocate its villagers.

He assumed that as a Sword Immortal, even if there were a few skilled martial artists among them, no matter how high their martial arts, none could withstand his Flying Sword strike. He was ready to slaughter those from the Dai family who dared resist, seize their fields and homes, enslave the compliant men as serfs, and have their women marry into Lv Village—a vision of perfection.

However, upon his arrival, besides martial artists, there turned out to be a Sword Immortal in Dai Family Field!

Little fox, Zhuge Han'er, was lying on a hammock tied between two large locust trees, savoring roast chicken offered by the villagers. Her two disciples, Ling Yunfeng and Dai Xiangying, took turns practicing sword refining and martial arts while the other took charge of tearing the roast chicken into pieces, dipping them in sauce, and feeding them to her mouth.

She was thoroughly enjoying herself when suddenly, a sword light surrounded by flames flew over from the mountains and descended from the sky, a bearded Daoist following it, loudly demanding that the people of Dai Family come and kneel in surrender or else he would commence a slaughter.

Dai Hengyu and the others quickly hurried over and, realizing they were facing_IMETHOD
