The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 189: 188 Heavenly Secret Demon Great Technique

Jiang Shu, before his reincarnation, had sealed his own memories and left behind two Daoist books and an Immortal Sword for himself.

After soldier disintegration, he sought reincarnation, selecting his parents in advance.

Months before, he had visited the family in Daoist attire, informing them that their future son would become an Immortal, urging the family not to hinder the child's pursuit of immortality and that this would bring blessings to the entire family; otherwise, they would face calamity.

The master of the household regarded him as a transcendent sage and deeply believed his words, agreeing to everything. He even asked him to name the child, and he chose "Jiang Shu." Before leaving, he left behind a significant amount of gold and silver, enough to ensure the child could grow up without worries.

After reincarnation, he forgot the memories of his former life, unaware of any masters he might have had, solely relying on his Immortal Sword to traverse the Fujian and Guangdong regions, slaying many corrupt officials and demonic beings, gaining considerable fame in the martial arts world.

These two Taoists were not obscure individuals; they were disciples of the One Light Master of the Western Demon Cult. The one sitting on the bed was Red Lotus Taoist Bi Xi, and the one fortune-telling on the street was named Hundred Demon Taoist Feng Wu. They dressed as Taoists because they were originally Taoists who later joined the Demon Sect, and in the Central Plains, it was still more convenient for them to act as Taoists.

Normally, they would not acknowledge such a young man claiming to be Jiang Shu, but he used the authentic swordsmanship of the Qingcheng Sect, and he could cast the orthodox Taiyin Divine Thunder of the Mysterious Sect, which they had seen often in Dianxi, therefore recognizing him as the reincarnation of the Demon Suppressing True Master, which delighted them immensely.

In their second swordfight, both sides fought disastrously, with the Taiyin Hunyuan Ancestor of the Wutai Sect, not convinced, agreeing to another duel in fifty years.

Since then, both sides tried their best to avoid each other, retreating three steps whenever they met, each holding back and focusing on accumulating strength.

The Sect Leader of the Emei Sect Qi Shuming and his wife Xun Lanyin reincarnated and rebirthed. Real Master Xuanzhen and the Ascetic Monk stayed at Fishing Rock in the East Sea, refining swords and not leaving.

One of the two old men from Song Mountain, the short elder Zhu Mei, reincarnated. Chasing Cloud Taoist Bai Guyi, having offended Ling Hun, fled overseas to avoid disaster, no longer appearing in Central Earth. His spouse Ling Xuehong also reincarnated.

The Taiyin Hunyuan Ancestor of the Wutai Sect traveled to the North Pole to refine his sword, and the Fiery Fire Ancestor of Hua Mountain Sect went into seclusion in Hua Mountain.

The Sect Hierarch of the Eastern Demon Cult, having been defeated by the Buddhist Master You Tan at Kaiyuan Temple, traveled to the Alpine Mountains in the West to refine treasures. The Sect Hierarch of the Western Demon Cult, Poison Dragon Venerable, also did not emerge, diligently refining the Divine Sand.

The world entered a strangely quiet period...

Jiang Shu was formerly known as the Demon Suppressing True Master, known for his extreme hatred for members of the Demon Sect, killing them on sight, and with his highly formidable swordsmanship and mana, many followers of the Western Demon Sect in the Sichuan-Dian area had died by his hand.

Feng Wu and Bi Xi did not expect to encounter the reincarnation of Jiang Shu here, and especially pleased as he had effectively delivered himself to them.

Both unleashed their most powerful techniques against Jiang Shu, who then emitted True Qi, causing the light from his Immortal Sword to surge massively, resembling a raging sea dragon tumbling through the air; while his left hand continuously cast the Taiyin Divine Thunder, with thunder booming alongside the piercing howls of the demons, quickly blowing the entire building into smithereens.

Jiang Shu leapt into the air with Feng Wu wielding the Hemp Cloth Banner, from which over a hundred streaks of red light emerged, each taking the shape of demon heads, with the foremost being as large as a cartwheel—a mix of old and young, male and female, all bleeding from seven orifices with sharp fangs, and a pair of demon claws on each of their two arms, roaring as they pounced on Jiang Shu.

He possessed another Flying Sword that continuously emitted trinal sparks at its forefront, intermingling with the demon heads to fiercely assault forward.

Besides launching two flying knives, Bi Xi possessed a Purple Gold Bowl, from which red smoke surged upon casting, growing numerous Red Lotuses. He shook the bowl causing the lotuses to rise and swirl towards Jiang Shu, circling his body, with each petal's tip emitting an extremely fine thread of red demon light, interacting and weaving into a spherical demon net.

Jiang Shu's Taiyin Divine Thunder was extremely fierce; each blast shattered the hundred-plus demon heads summoned by Feng Wu and disintegrated the Red Lotus demon net. But as Feng Wu swung the Demon Banner, demon heads continuously regenerated, and as Bi Xi rotated the bowl, the Red Lotuses regenerated too.

Jiang Shu was trapped in the midst and felt increasingly apprehensive. Initially thinking they were mere demonic beings, he had not expected them to be so formidable. Yet to find the missing child, he was at risk of being ensnared himself.

Judging his situation to be desperately isolated, he decided to momentarily escape, planning to isolate and defeat them one by one later.

He instantly employed the Light Splitting and Shadow Capturing Technique, forcibly grabbed Feng Wu's flying sword, snatched it over, bit his tongue, and sprayed blood onto it before throwing the sword into the air. With his left hand, he shaped the Thunder Technique, releasing a golden thunderclap that struck the sword, instantly shattering it.

Feng Wu's heart bled, for this was his cherished sword refined from White Iron Essence, nurtured over many years, now destroyed in an instant!

At that moment, each fragment of the sword sparkled with golden electric light, exploding outwards with the sound of cracking, igniting millions of fist-sized golden fireballs, instantly scattering both Feng Wu's demon heads and Bi Xi's Red Lotuses. Jiang Shu, combining body and sword, transformed into a streak of blue Sword Light, ready to break through the sky.

"You fiend! Where do you think you are going!" Bi Xi, sitting cross-legged, formed seals with his hands, his body flashing with red light. His bowl hovered in the air, flipped over, and from the mouth of the bowl, a Demon Light engulfed Jiang Shu.

Jiang Shu sped forth with his sword, yet he remained under the Demon Light. In an instant, it seemed as though he had flown over thousands of mountains and rivers, but he was still lingering in the same place.

Bi Xi clapped his hands once, sending forth a talisman. The bowl rang out with a loud clang, dimming the bright glow of Jiang Shu's Flying Sword and disrupting his state of Human Sword Unity. Omni-directional Demon Light targeted him, and he screamed in alarm, hurriedly attempting to cast protective spells. However, he instantly felt dizzy, as if his very soul was being sucked out through his skull and whisked away. Then, Feng Wu approached, hoisting the Demon Banner. The hemp cloth engulfed Jiang's entire body as hundreds of strands of Demon Light penetrated him, forcefully restraining him.

...

Shi Feiyang watched as Feng Wu stuffed Jiang Shu into a bag, grabbing it, and walking between two locust trees before disappearing.

He too walked between the locust trees, stepping directly to the other side, but he was still within the grove of locust trees.

"This is rather interesting. Could there possibly be a high-ranking Demon Path expert concealed here, who has opened up a minor Grotto Heaven? My memory tells me that such powerful figures of the Demon Path reside in West Kunlun, not here."

Shi Feiyang wandered around the locust grove a few times, carefully examining this strange place.

Soon, he figured it out.

It turned out that it wasn't that the opponent had opened up a Grotto Heaven, but that they had cleverly hidden something using an array, layered with a Maze and an illusion. Ordinary people going back and forth in the grove would feel as if they were walking straight, but in reality, they were traveling in curves, bypassing the central area.

Shi Feiyang, gauging his bearings, did not simply walk straight towards the entrance or exit. Instead, he took several turns; although it seemed he was walking in a roundabout manner, he was, in fact, walking directly, and the Demon Realm couldn't confuse his sight. He walked straight into the center of the grove, where a small Daoist Temple had been erected, consisting of three courtyards. The building at the back of the yard had been blown apart.

In the middle courtyard, flags were everywhere, a Dharma Platform was laid out. The young man in green robes that he had previously encountered was chained by his hands and feet and suspended from a pole. His forehead was suppressed with a Spirit Talisman, underneath him an Immortal Sword emitting bursts of blue light, was thrust upside down into the ground, with its tip trembling unsteadily upwards.

Two Daoists stood behind the Dharma Platform casting spells, one of whom was the fortune-teller he had met in the city.

Rather than using the front gate between the two locust trees, Shi Feiyang stepped onto the wall on the side of the property, startling the two Demon Path practitioners: "What the hell!"

Feng Wu instantly recognized him as the young nobleman he had previously met in the city, whom he intended to capture. Still, Jiang Shu had preemptively come to die in his stead. He asked loudly, "How did you get in here?"

Shi Feiyang looked at them and then at Jiang Shu suspended from the pole, who was clearly stupefied and staring blankly, obviously enchanted. He then addressed Feng Wu, "Never mind how I got in here. I'm asking you, how did you figure out that I was the True Dragon Emperor?"

Feng Wu replied, "I saw it in your facial features."

"And how did you know I was fated to encounter calamity?"

"That was also seen from your facial features!"

"What else did you see?"

Feng Wu grasped the Demon Banner tightly in his right hand, forcing a smile, "Plenty more, but I wasn't carefully watching earlier. Come down here, and let me take a closer look."

"Alright, alright, take another look." Shi Feiyang stepped down from the wall.

As he drew near, Feng Wu suddenly swung the long banner. Arrays of Demon Light surged forth, accompanied by demonic roars, as hundreds of Demons lunged toward Shi Feiyang.

Shi Feiyang looked up at these Demons, a flash of red light in his eyes momentarily halting them in mid-air, unable to descend.

He was a man who had practiced the Demon God Scripture, the Heavenly Demon Refining Great Technique, and most importantly the Heavenly Secret Demon Technique—one of the highest divine skills in the Demon Path. Over time, these allowed one to transform their Primordial Spirit into Heavenly Demon Gods and ascend to otherworldly realms…

Of course, Shi Feiyang had not cultivated to that extent, nor did he wish to transform himself into a Demon God, but his Primordial Spirit had acquired some characteristics of lower realm Divine Demons.

If Demon Gods were akin to Heavenly Immortals, then Divine Demons were like Earth Immortals. The Demon Path pursues the absolute law of the jungle, survival of the fittest, aimed purely at unleashing the beastly instincts inherent in humans; the strong conquer the weak, subjugating, overwhelming, and even consuming them, leaving the weak with no power but to submit and be slaughtered at will.

These demons, sensing the aura of the Divine Demon released by Shi Feiyang through the Heavenly Secret Demon Technique, were immediately bound there, like insects encased in amber, causing their souls to tremble in fear—even they were relieved that they had no physical bodies to further embarrass themselves!

Feng Wu and Bi Xi, skilled practitioners of the Demon Cult, watched as Bi Xi called out in a deep voice, "The Heavenly Secret Demon Great Technique, are you from the Red Body Sect?"

Shi Feiyang did not respond, his pupils flashing red again sent the Demon heads hurtling back, attacking Feng Wu.
