The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 134: 133 swords inserted at Three Rivers

Long Meng and Wu Longzi each possessed eight to nine thousand years of Mana, ranking them as notable demons in the Outer Heaven Divine Mountain. When they voluntarily visited, the Myriad Cold Centipede was delighted.

According to her usual habit, after every complete consumption, she would fall into a deep sleep for a few hours to restore her Dan Qi. However, today she had broken her routine and did not rest, instead welcoming the two visitors.

The Cold Centipede planned to harvest the Yuan Yang from the two demons, who strenuously tried to resist even as they were using their powers.

She exhaled green Dan Qi, enveloping both herself and her opponents within it. Internally, the two demons felt themselves sinking to the edge of a quagmire, almost giving up the struggle. Thankfully, with their eight to nine thousand years of Dao Level, they managed to retain a sliver of alertness at the very edge, allowing the Cold Centipede to do as she pleased while still firmly guarding their Yuan Yang.

After eight days and nights, the Cold Centipede also exhausted a great deal of her strength. She dismissed the thick green mist and instructed those kneeling below, humans and demons alike, to busy themselves until called upon.

Among those folks, some showed joy while others were clearly reluctant. In the eyes of the humans, the Cold Centipede was an exceptionally beautiful woman draped in green gauze, and to the demons, a seductive female. They had been hoping for ten-odd days but failed to succeed, leading to considerable frustration.

Unfortunately, they had been poisoned by the Cold Centipede's Dan poison, not only was their Primordial Spirit restricted, but they also couldn't leave. If they attempted to do so, the Dan poison would flare up, causing their limbs to rot, ultimately turning their entire body into pus.

The Cold Centipede invited Long Meng and Wu Longzi to eat the fruits growing on trees around the palace. The two demons then talked about the newly arrived Black Dragon, elaborating on how robust and powerful it was, and even revealing how Long Meng lost his Dragon Ball.

A flash of sharpness passed through the Cold Centipede's eyes upon hearing about the lost Dragon Ball. As a dragon, losing a Dragon Ball greatly diminished its usefulness. Fortunately, she knew Long Meng still possessed a Lifebound Primordial Pearl within him, which made the fierce battle rather enjoyable, otherwise she would have devoured him on the spot. Even so, in the Cold Centipede's heart, Long Meng's status fell significantly below Wu Longzi, and she planned to devour Long Meng first before Wu Longzi after obtaining their Primordial Essence in a few days.

Upon hearing the demons' description, the Cold Centipede felt an itch in her heart. She took out the Heavenly Treasure Mirror, which had fallen from the Spiritual Space Immortal Realm with the Outer Heaven Divine Mountain, flashing golden light. She exhaled a breath of Dan Qi onto it, and soon the bay where Shi Feiyang and his disciples were establishing a cave dwelling appeared.

"That Black Dragon is here," Long Meng explained, "He might be able to shrink in size and could be in one of those caves. Can your treasure mirror see inside his dwelling?"

The Cold Centipede tried to shift the view into the cave, but was blocked by a swath of Hongmeng Purple Qi in front of three mountains.

She snorted coldly, then moved the view beneath the sea surface, quickly spotting the divine beings digging caves underwater—Shen Gun, Red Snake, Xuan Turtle, and three Green Flood Dragons.

Spotting others was one thing, but at the sight of Shen Gun, all twelve of her eyes lit up simultaneously.

Shen Gun also had over eight thousand years of Dao Level, and under Shi Feiyang's tutelage of the Sun and Moon Refining Great Technique, his marrow was solidified, muscles robust, Primordial Qi condensed, and spirit vibrant, which made the Cold Centipede drool with excitement. She eagerly asked Long Meng, "Is this the Black Dragon you mentioned for dueling?"

Long Meng thought to himself, all twelve of your eyes are just decorative, how did you see this as a dragon? Does he even remotely resemble me? He doesn't even have scales!

Shen Gun's species was unknown to those from the Outer Heaven Divine Mountain as they had never seen one. Unable to specify what species it was, Long Meng simply stated it was not the Black Dragon.

The Cold Centipede didn't care whether it was the Black Dragon or not; as long as it was a living male being, regardless of whether it was a bird, beast, fish, or bug, she welcomed all. At this moment, seeing Shen Gun, she was like a woman in heat spotting a handsome, muscular young man, increasingly falling in love the more she looked, almost extending her tongue to lick the mirror.

Meanwhile, Shen Gun, completely unaware of being spied on by a demon, was digging underwater with his young companions.

He had a dispute with Red Snake, who believed that he and Xuan Turtle, being the earliest followers of the Black Dragon King, were the confidants, the servants following the dragon. Red Snake insisted that he and Xuan Turtle's dwelling be placed in the middle.

However, Shen Gun disagreed, believing his higher Dao Level and greater Mana made him superior. Having lived more than eight thousand years, he felt Red Snake, who had only lived a few hundred years, was too young to be compared, and refused to place himself below Red Snake. He demanded his dwelling be positioned in the middle, with Red Snake and Xuan Turtle settling their dwellings on either side.

He said to Red Snake, "Back in the day, I knew the master, and you knew the King. I was my master's disciple, and you were a servant to the King; my relationship was clearly closer."

Red Snake retorted, "Xuan Turtle and I also recognized the master once. If you talk about disciples, we were all nominal disciples. But we respected the King from the bottom of our hearts, knowing that we were not worthy to be the true disciples of the King. Just having the King's protection and occasionally learning some Daoist Techniques were enough for us. Unlike you, old thing, greedy and tactless. If the King gave you a stick, you'd take it and sew with it like a needle, having cultivated your Dao Level for eight thousand years only on your thick skin..."

The two continued to argue intensely. Shen Gun had never been in contact with humans, and even if he had, it would have been with ancient people over four thousand years ago. His verbosity was nowhere near that of Red Snake's, and Red Snake angered him to the point of breathing fire. He cast a spell to trap Red Snake and furiously threatened to eat him.

Red Snake was utterly unafraid, "If you dare touch a single scale of mine, the King could wrap you in variegated leaves and dip you in fennel sauce to eat!"

Shen Gun was indeed very afraid of Shi Feiyang. He had been completely subdued by Shi Feiyang back then, and every time he saw Shi Feiyang, he felt that his Mana had climbed another level. Although he too was striving to better his cultivation, he felt he was getting farther from Shi Feiyang. When they had dueled, it had taken a long time, but now he felt that if they were to duel again, he would know the outcome in an instant.

Yet, to be inferior to Red Snake was something he truly could not accept. As they were at a deadlock, he suddenly sensed an oily, mutton-like smell in the seawater.

Xuan Turtle was even more wary, pausing the mediation to ask, "Have you noticed that the seawater has turned green?"

Shen Gun and Red Snake looked around. Outer Heaven Divine Mountain had perpetual daylight, the sunlight was brilliant, and the sea clear. Even at a depth of a hundred feet, one could see the white sand and red coral on the seabed as well as the multicolored fish swimming. Upon careful observation, they indeed noticed a hint of green in the water.

Being higher in Dao Level, Shen Gun immediately felt a ripple in his Divine Soul as if someone had secretly targeted him from afar. He shouted in alarm, "Not good!" and quickly expelled Dan Qi to isolate the green part of the seawater. He then cast spells causing ripples and undercurrents in circles within the seawater to search for the enemy.

In an instant, he had scanned an area with a hundred miles radius, yet he still couldn't see any sign of the enemy.

Red Snake and Xuan Turtle still didn't know what was going on; they summoned the three Green Flood Dragons and asked Shen Gun what had happened.

Shen Gun, full of suspicious and restless thoughts, quickly concentrated and calmed his breath. Reflecting inwardly, he saw in his Mud Ball Palace a trace of a green shadow, with the shape of a human head and a lion's face, a fish's back and a bear's body, deer legs below, human arms above, hair tied in a Daoist bun, ears shaped like coiled dragons, with a small snake coiled around one side, a red tongue flickering like a strand of fire.

It turned out that Cold Centipede, not knowing what kind of creature Shen Gun was, had transformed its Primordial Spirit into a female version, first casting a spell to restrain his Primordial Spirit, then appearing directly in his Mud Ball Palace. It intended to control his body through his Primordial Spirit and take him to its home to slowly enjoy.

After seeing this, Shen Gun felt his hair stand on end. His original form had only three legs. It was only after following Shi Feiyang that he had developed two human arms. Moreover, the females of his species also looked different from the males; the traits were very distinct. This appearance was as if a male had been castrated but had female organs... The critical thing was that this thing had appeared directly in his Mud Ball Palace, which was truly terrifying.

He knew he absolutely couldn't resist, and quickly shouted for Red Snake and the others to seek help from the King. Then he reversed the flow of his Dan Qi, drawing it into his brain to protect his Primordial Spirit.

The Cold Centipede, seeing him wrap his Primordial Spirit in Dan Qi, laughed triumphantly, "Your Primordial Spirit has already been restrained by me. Whenever I desire, I can take your Primordial Spirit away. But seeing your body strong and robust with a vigorous and mighty essence, be sensible, quickly follow me home as I told you, and I will grant you endless benefits. Otherwise, I have my own 'Divine Communication' Secret Technique, which can still suck your Primorial Spirit and then consume your body…"

Shen Gun continued to ignore her, not daring to be distracted even slightly, constantly urging his Dan Qi upward, firmly guarding his Primordial Spirit.

Cold Centipede, annoyed, smirked coldly, "You don't know my prowess yet!" Speaking, she cast a spell; green light had already enveloped Shen Gun's Primordial Spirit. As she pointed, the green light twisted and deformed along with his Primordial Spirit, pulling and squeezing it like dough, also continuously staining his Primordial Spirit with a deeper shade of green.

Shen Gun had over eight-thousand years' Dao Level, while Cold Centipede had more than nine-thousand nine-hundred years. Though it seemed similar, Cold Centipede was just decades away from reaching ten-thousand years, achieving an Undying Body. She had also absorbed the Primordial Essence and Qi of Demons thousands of years old, swallowed their inner cores, and increased some of her Dao Level. If comparing Mana by age, it was not less than forty-fifty thousand years!

In her presence, Shen Gun was completely powerless to fight back. Despite putting up a full defense, he was still in unbearable torment. The pain was secondary; the critical issue was the green Dan Qi constantly infiltrating. His Dan Qi couldn't stop it, and once his Primordial Spirit was fully tainted green, with a light inhale, she could take it from afar, leaving no room for struggle or resistance.

Fortunately, Shen Gun was at the bottom of Yan Lake, where Yu the Great had suppressed him with the Yu Ding and the Golden Talisman. To break the prohibition and escape, he had been diligently pondering the usage of Yu Ding and the meaning of the Yu Golden Talisman for over four thousand years. He had some understanding, and later, with guidance from Shi Feiyang, he realized a Technique for suppressing evil, combined with the 'Chi You Three Disks Refining Great Technique,' merging his Qi blood with his Primordial Spirit tightly as one, not allowing any disturbance, thus slowing down the rate of his Primordial Spirit being tainted the most.

During their confrontation, Red Snake and Xuan Turtle also sensed something was amiss. Leaving Xuan Turtle to guard, Red Snake swiftly swam out of the water to Shi Feiyang's cave to seek help.
