"Copy that," Tundra replied. He was clearly unafraid of whatever type of zombie was coming to them.
"I guess it's time for something heavier."
Tundra stood on a steel platform overlooking the main trench line.
In just a few moments, he gave his command.
"Frontline squad, maintain your throw rhythm! Keep the bombs rolling! Don't waste your spirit energy unless you're sure of the hit!"
Below him, hundreds of survivors from Blood Talon fighters and Eclipse Revenant reinforcements hurled strange metal spheres and stones at the advancing horde.
Each rock, each shard, each simple object had been touched by Tundra himself, planted an invisible bomb waiting for activation.
The moment they hit the ground, the bombs were triggered!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Just like that, columns of flame and dust burst in sequence...
The battlefield was soon filled with dust, blood, and the flesh of the Zombies.
The Explosive Fire Bombs had even created molten craters, instantly vaporizing the first wave of Lurker Zombies attempting to crawl at their walls.
A survivor at the barricade shouted…
"Releasing Cryo-Stasis! Freeze 'em!"
Blue mist burst outward as a Cryo-Stasis Charge detonated… Once again, it starts freezing a dozen sprinting Lickers midair.
The frozen corpses shattered as the next Explosive Fire Bomb landed among them.
Tundra grinned under his half-mask… He couldn't help but feel proud of himself.
It seemed that he was truly a born leader. Thanks to Shane's encouragement, he had trained all these people to become his strongest army of bombers!
"Good timing," he muttered. "Don't let them regroup."
Then, after a few moments, the Mk.V turrets were activated and started raining explosive shells into the swarm!
The Warden Units also used the flamethrowers to suppress the charging Zombies!
Yet even that wasn't enough to completely stop the tide…
It didn't take that before the hulking Brute Zombies and the long-tongued Stalkers tried to scale the cliff walls to avoid the choke point of their Shelter!
Tundra's eyes glowed faintly with focus.
"Warden Unit Delta, redirect your flame arcs to the right slope! The climbers are coming in!"
He jumped down into the chaos, landing near the front line…
"Alright… let's make this interesting."
Tundra wasn't just a bomb-making Survivor after all.
Aside from making bombs and throwing them, he also had other skills and talents he had obtained after so many rewards he had received from the system, and after he became rich with Shane's assistance.
He slammed his palm on the ground.
Soon, a faint ripple of spirit energy spread out…
This ability may not be related to bombs, but it made all the Survivors within his 100 meters gain a temporary boost in their strength!
He grabbed his communicator again.
"All units… Trigger on my mark… NOW!"
The battlefield erupted again.
With his signal, the explosions chained together, shaking the mountain itself.
The Brute Zombies were torn apart as their limbs scattered across the field.
One Blood Talon fighter realized what had just happened, and he couldn't help but praise Tundra.
"General! That was insane! I think we also hit those more than 150 meters away! Haha! Awesome!"
Tundra smirked as he knew that he really needed to swiftly clear the upcoming Zombies. He had a feeling that a special one would visit them soon.
Maybe a Zombie King or even a Zombie Lord wouldn't be surprising.
With that in consideration, they had to eliminate the cannon fodder as swiftly as possible.
"They'll make it closer eventually. That's when we use the Graviton Imploders."
After a few moments, when the Zombies advanced once again, he tossed one casually toward the middle of the battlefield.
It rolled to a stop between several crawling Zombies…
Then, a sudden pull occurred as if the ground itself inhaled!
Whom~
The zombies screamed as their bodies were dragged inward… Many survivors watched as they saw the bones snapping while armor and flesh folded in on themselves before the entire cluster collapsed in an implosion.
Reylin's voice came through the comms from the Command Center.
"Frontline report. Tundra, status!"
Tundra pressed his earpiece. "Frontline holding steady. Estimated kill count above two hundred. My Spirit consumption is at 42%. Reinforcing with Warden Units now."
"Understood. Keep it that way. The next surge might come from the canyon…" Reylin warned.
Tundra grunted. "Then I'll fill that place with corpses."
The survivors nearby chuckled…
Just like that, they started reloading, preparing the next barrage.

Inside the Command Center, the atmosphere was tense but focused.
Rows of monitors displayed real-time feeds from the Blood Talon Shelter and several other outposts.
Well, this upgrade was all thanks to Cloud's assistance.
Before, their command center was almost non-existent.
At this time, Reylin was at the commander's seat.
Operators shouted reports as they monitored various areas that needed assistance or updated her on any important information.
She carefully listened to all reports, ammunition counts, medicine supplies, bomb supplies, damage reports, and all other reports being fed to her.
"There must be Flying Zombies by now… Switch the feed." she ordered.
A moment later, one of their cameras started showing the valley front from above.
First, they saw the ground was littered with corpses, smoke, and molten craters, yet the tide of zombies didn't stop.
"No flying zombies? Alright…"
Then, Reylin noticed something.
At the far end of the canyon, where the red mist was thickest, a silhouette of a large figure appeared.
"Hold up…" she muttered…
It didn't take that long before it revealed a massive creature crawling out from the red mist…
It was a bloated form of Zombie with blackened armor-like scales covering its shoulders.
Its mouth split vertically, and it seemed more like a monster than a Zombie at this moment.
It was as if it had come out of a nightmare!
"Just how severe is this mutation?" Reylin muttered. After all, many Zombie Lords still had humanoid features.
However, this one looked like a true monster out of a fantasy!
Reylin clenched her jaw. "That's a Lord-class Zombie…"
She muttered.
As expected, she received a notification like the others.
[ Zombie Lord Ves has entered the battlefield. ]
Before she could issue new orders, another feed flickered on the opposite screen/ This time, it was from the northern cliff…
A smaller figure, slender and humanoid in shape, emerged from the corrupted fog.
It was definitely a Zombie, but it was wearing clean and majestic red robes with a golden crown on its head!
