Jason read through the system's messages and the two special skills that came along with the Attribute. They were what Jason had seen Evon using, so he wasn't surprised by them. Instead, what was still replaying in Jason's mind was the warning that Evon had given him.

'The sun will drive you to insanity?'

Jason turned and looked up at the sun once again, and this time, Jason suddenly had a weird feeling that there was something looking back at him from within that ball of white light. The tentacles danced around the ball like the legs of an octopus, and a strange thought suddenly passed through Jason's mind. Was that thing… alive?

WOOSH!

The shadows all around Jason suddenly began to vibrate, and Jason took a step back as they rushed towards him like an endless wave of darkness! The shadows latched onto Jason's body and began to seep into him, and Jason grit his teeth as a voice began to echo in his head!

I need one more! I need the last of us!

'Shut the fuck up!'

Jason put his hand up to his hair as the black shadows continued to pour into his body and he growled as the voice grew even louder!

Outside the Shadow world, the Armed forces and superhumans of Gaia waited with bated breath as they watched the large ball of black shadows that was floating gently over the large Los Angeles River. Things had been very heated for a long while since Jason went into the Land of Shadows. After the Shadow world was created, Gina went straight towards where Janet and Maya were being protected by many of Jason's subordinates. Jason had instructed many of the pawns in his Legion to evacuate the civilians in the area and make sure that they didn't get caught up in the battle, and the civilians had all been taken to the shoreline at the edge of Los Angeles, where they were picked up by rescue operatives.

But dealing with the superhumans hadn't been as easy. Many of the superhumans were absolutely pissed off after they were evacuated from the fight scene because they believed that what had opened back then was a Gate, and they all thought that Jason was trying to take the entire Gate to himself! Some of the superhumans had even tried to get close to Gina to ask her to take them back to Jason, but a single glare from Gina was enough to make all of them take multiple steps back. Gina was already worried enough about both Jason and his sisters, and she didn't want any of this nonsense to bother her at this moment!

Gina hadn't been able to get through to Jason using their mental link at all, and even though Gina was certain that Jason could handle any problem that came his way, she couldn't help but feel worried about him. Gina watched as the large black ball of shadows hovered over the river, and she felt the intense urge to go in there and make sure that Jason was okay, but she then looked back at Jason's sisters, and she let out a tired sigh. She couldn't leave them behind just because she was worried. Jason asked her to protect them, and that was what she would do! Gina went to talk to Janet and Maya, and she continued to ignore the mobs that were trying to get her to take them back to Jason. But no less than five minutes later, Gaia arrived on the scene in large helicopters that echoed over the region as they passed overhead. All the superhumans looked up in surprise when they saw the helicopters, but there was no symbol on them, so no one could tell which organization they were from!

"Everyone, please, we will need you to vacate the premises and leave this matter to the officials! There are transport vehicles here for everyone, so please vacate the premises!!"

An SMD agent suddenly came up with a large megaphone and announced this, and the superhumans looked at each other in surprise when they heard this. The SMD agents hadn't been evacuating them before, so they thought that they would be allowed to stay, but the way the SMD agent was talking didn't make it seem like this was a request. They were being ordered to vacate the premises! Various SMD agents came down to the superhumans, and they began to guide them away towards the transport vehicles, but some superhumans tried to fight to stay back since they still thought that Jason was hogging the Gate to himself! A voice suddenly spoke up from behind them.

"Vacate the premises."

Everyone turned around to see who had spoken, and they were shocked when they saw a young boy who didn't look a day over fifteen years old standing there. The boy had a young, slightly chubby face, but he was wearing an unmarked black jumpsuit, and he had an expression that seemed too serious to belong on a child. But it was the boy's eyes that drew in everyone's attention once they saw him. He had rainbow-like kaleidoscope eyes that spun hypnotically, and everyone who looked into those eyes felt all their defenses dropping immediately. The superhumans all nodded to his order, and they quickly began to follow after the SMD agents as they moved to the transport vehicles.

This boy was named Oswald, and he was one of the child soldiers who had been experimented on and strengthened by Gaia. His ability [Hypnosis] allowed him to carry out basic mental manipulations on people through many mediums. The most powerful way for him to use his power was by making people look into his eyes, but he was also capable of manipulating people through videos, calls, or even texts! Oswald was the superhuman that Cersai had used to manipulate the minds of most of America and make them forget about the interworld travellers, and Oswald had been shocked when Cersai pulled back his order. Apparently, Cersai wanted him to release the mental lock he placed on all those people, and Oswald could only wonder if Cersai didn't want to hide the truth about the inter-world travelers anymore. But it wasn't Oswald's place to question Cersai, so he simply did as he was told. He already lifted the mental lock on the civilians and low-ranking superhumans, and by this time tomorrow, Oswald knew that the entire country would be filled with conversation about interworld travellers.

'I just hope Cersai knows what he's doing. Didn't he tell me it was dangerous for people to know about other worlds?'

Oswald had been trained by Gaia from when he was less than ten years old, and in that time, Gaia had filled his head with all the things that could go wrong with civilians learning about other worlds. So the fact that Cersai was now telling him to allow people know about inter-world travellers left a bad taste in his mouth, and Oswald knew that it would also leave a bad taste in the mouths of all the other child soldiers in his team.

"How long will it take before that wears off?"

A voice suddenly spoke from beside Oswald, and Oswald turned to see the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life standing there! Gina had a slight frown on her face as she gave Oswald a curious look, and Oswald felt a slight blush creep up on his cheeks as he looked up at Gina's hourglass figure. Oswald didn't go outside of the Gaia headquarters a lot because his work could be done through any medium, and the only reason he was here was because he was already in the country and he just decided to come with Fredrica, so seeing someone as beautiful as Gina was something that he wasn't used to! Even without doing anything, Gina's sheer sexual appeal was just too stimulating for the young fifteen-year-old!
