SUMMARY
A Low-Stakes, Cozy, Slice-Of-Life World-Hopping Adventure John, a 37-year-old widower, is feeling lost. Grief, regrets, and the weight of the past push him to long for something new, something different. So when he finds a way to travel between worlds through dimensional Gates, he takes it. Some research, a bit of training, and he’s off. Sure, his class has the potential to be overpowered, but he’s not in it for fights, fame, or power. He’s here to breathe again. To heal. To see what else is out there in the multiverse. He moves at his own pace, helps out when he feels like it—sometimes as a healer, sometimes as something else—and keeps track of it all in a kind of diary. It’s more about the journey than the destination. About magic, new places, and figuring out how to live again. This isn’t some dark, gritty tale full of battles or world-ending stakes. It’s about traveling with friends. Awkward conversations, good food, learning magic, and way too much shopping. It’s about the little things that make life worth it—and how even small actions can sometimes ripple out with a butterfly effect. Scattered throughout the story are short side stories. Glimpses into other worlds, other travelers, or the consequences of his choices. They all circle back eventually, adding layers to John’s path and filling in the bigger picture. This is a different kind of LitRPG. It’s slower paced, written in a semi-journal style, and focuses just as much on the inner journey as it does on the outer one. Big parts of the story happen on Earth, before he leaves, and when he occasionally comes back.
