Over The World, Beyond Heaven

Chapter 609: Noah Zeppelin is Getting Ready to Fly

"Don't overdo it, Father. If you take too much, it might do more harm than good!"

"Huh!?" Kong-Shi's face visibly paled upon hearing Zheng-Fu's words, as he had actually planned to drink the potion continuously. Zheng-Fu's mention of "impotence" made him rethink and consider not drinking it again.

"But, Father, if you take a week or two to fully stabilize your energy, drinking a second bottle will be fine!" Zheng-Fu couldn't hold back his laughter at his father's reaction. He wasn't entirely lying; he simply wanted his father's energy to stabilize before adding more.

"Oh!" Kong-Shi's expression brightened at Zheng-Fu's advice. Thinking it over, he realized his son's advice was reasonable. Rapidly increasing energy without stabilizing it first would not be wise. Perhaps he'd been too focused on "that" and forgot this basic step.

"Enough about that. Your mother has finished preparing breakfast. Quickly take a bath and get changed so we can eat together," Kong-Shi said, remembering why he had come looking for his son.

"All right, Father!" Zheng-Fu replied, halting his training and heading to his room.

Ten minutes later, in the dining room of the Tian-Tang family mansion…

"Sorry, Mother, for being late!" After a quick wash and change, Zheng-Fu joined his parents in the dining room.

"It's all right, dear! Come on, the food's getting cold; it won't taste as good!" Tang-Ling waved him over to eat, clearly unconcerned about the delay.

"Yes, sir!"

Nom Nom Nom

"Oh! Mother's cooking is still the best, no matter how many times I eat it!"

"Then eat plenty, my boy! There's more in the kitchen," Tang-Ling said warmly.

"I'll eat a lot too!" Kong-Shi chimed in.

Ha ha ha!

Zheng-Fu enjoyed this meal immensely, as it had been a long time since he'd shared a meal with his family. Between bites, he recounted stories, even sharing Fu-Er's background and the hardships she had endured. A somber mood arose as he mentioned Fu-Er's assassination.

"So, you have to leave to find the antidote?" Tang-Ling asked, her face full of worry as she looked at Zheng-Fu.

"Yes, Mother. But don't worry. Your son is strong now. Even if the enemy is formidable, they wouldn't easily kill me—I'm very good at surviving!" Zheng-Fu tried to reassure her, adopting a humorous tone to lighten the mood.

Bonk!

"Ouch!"

Suddenly, Kong-Shi reached out and knuckled Zheng-Fu's head.

"Father! Why did you do that?" Zheng-Fu asked, rubbing his head with a slightly displeased expression.

"Even though you're stronger, don't be reckless. There are always people stronger than us in this world, and no one can stay on top forever," Kong-Shi replied, his face serious as he offered his advice out of love and concern.

"I know, Father. I was just saying I'm good at surviving! If I can't win, I'll run. Who would be foolish enough to fight when they know they can't win?" Zheng-Fu said, teasingly.

"You!" Kong-Shi said, feigning annoyance.

"Enough, you two! Let's eat before everything goes cold," Tang-Ling interrupted. She had looked worried before, but now her expression lightened, not wanting Zheng-Fu to worry about her.

An hour passed…

After eating and chatting for an hour, Zheng-Fu bid farewell to his parents, preparing to return to the Over the World, Beyond Heaven Sect. He still had tasks to complete before leaving for Foggy Cloud Land, across Blue Land.

This time, Zheng-Fu's journey would be different. He wouldn't go on foot or ride a beast. Nor would he use any magical artifact. Instead, he'd travel on a new invention he had commissioned from skilled artisans. He had drawn up a simplified plan and provided all the materials, equipment, and ingredients.

The reason he hadn't set out on his journey yet was that he was waiting for this particular item, something only he and a select few knew about. This new invention was a well-kept secret.

In the secret basement under the Over the World, Beyond Heaven Denomination…

Clang! Clang! Clang!

"Hurry up! Just a little more, and it'll be finished. If Young Master returns and it's not done, he'll scold you all!" a muscular elder shouted, overseeing the work. He was the master artisan responsible for this invention.

"We know, Grandpa! We're working so fast our hands are swelling up! If you want us to go faster, we'd need extra hands!" one craftsman replied.

"I'd like four more hands so I could work twice as fast!"

"I'd want ten more so I could make several of these and engrave my name on them so everyone knows I helped build it! Ha ha ha!"

Ha ha ha!

"Yes! Yes! I'll do that too!"

All the craftsmen gathered here were skilled artisans, passionate and devoted to creation. The opportunity to build something new and unique that didn't yet exist in this world filled them with excitement and challenge. They worked tirelessly without a single complaint, as this project was a source of great honor for them.

Flap!

"Elder, I'm not that strict! Even if it's not finished today, I wouldn't mind. Do it at your own pace; if you rush, the work won't be as good." Suddenly, Zheng-Fu appeared beside the muscular elder, speaking in a slightly regretful tone that the elder saw him as such a harsh person.

Ah!

"Young Master Zheng-Fu!" The muscular elder jolted in surprise, unconsciously stepping forward before turning around and exclaiming Zheng-Fu's name when he saw who had spoken.

"That's right! Or do you see me as some kind of devil or giant?" Zheng-Fu didn't stop teasing the muscular elder about his comment describing him as a fierce person.

"Ha ha! Who said that? Young Master, you're kind and understanding. Who would dare call you a devil? What I said earlier was only to motivate these young men; I didn't mean it as criticism!" The muscular elder quickly spoke up to defend himself.

"Grandpa, I've heard you say that Young Master is strict, but now you call him kind and compassionate!"

"Hey! How can you say that? You know Grandpa's just gossiping about him behind his back. Why bring it up again?"

"You're all the same! Stop teasing someone who's always been so good to us. Even if he does talk about Young Master behind his back, don't bring it up like that! You crazy rascals!"

Finally, the elder couldn't bear their teasing and scolded them with mock anger.

Ha ha ha!

"Oh, Elder, I don't mind you gossiping about me behind my back. I'm not the kind of person to get worked up over little things like that!" Of course, as the king of teasing, Zheng-Fu couldn't resist joining in with everyone to prank the muscular elder. Though he pretended to be comforting, his words were laced with sarcasm and playful jabs.

"You!"

Sigh…

The atmosphere in this secret room was both hot and filled with smoke from the furnace built to melt the strong multi-steel ore, which required thousands of degrees of heat and over five days to melt completely.

Thus, most of the time was consumed by melting the ore for shaping. As for the Ancient Black Wood, durable, high-grade equipment could be used to cut and shape it, allowing the wooden parts to be processed quickly.

"This invention will change history. I've never seen or heard of anything like this, even in a thousand years of history. I believe your airship will be recorded in the annals of time!" The master artisan said proudly as he gazed at the artifact—the Noah Zeppelin, which Zheng-Fu had found a blueprint for and had commissioned him to build.

Finally, the Noah Zeppelin was a tangible reality, ready to astonish the world. Zheng-Fu only needed to wait for its completion, then engrave a propulsion spell onto it, which he believed would allow the Zeppelin to float and travel freely.

"Of course, it will be just like that, Elder. All of you will become part of that history as the creators of this artifact in this era. Even if others built something like it in the past, no one knows who they were. So, you will become the legendary figures who built this Noah Zeppelin and the many more to come after it!"

Zheng-Fu crafted his words carefully to make all the craftsmen here understand their importance, speaking of how they would be recorded in history. Naturally, anyone who heard this would feel inspired, and it served as a great motivation for those who needed to use both their bodies and focus to complete their work.

Oh!
