Being surrounded by the villagers like this was the last thing that I wanted.

But after obtaining that Finger of Death, it seemed like they just couldn't stay away from me. It was clear that they were obsessed with this Finger of Death that I had obtained and they wouldn't let me go unless they could see it one more time.

Before this, there was no mention of quests at all from the system.

It wasn't just me, all of us had been wondering why there weren't any system quests even though this world should have been based on a game world.

But it turned out that this was because one had to unlock the quest system.

Still, for the quest system to be unlocked by a Unique Class, it was really a hard system to open.

Now that I had the time, I wanted to see what kind of quests were available.

Seeing the current status of this quest almost made me fall over.

I knew why it was 206, this was because there were 206 bones in the human body. The Immortal King had been a human before ascending to become the Immortal King, so it only made sense that it would have the same number of bones.

However, what really got me down was the fact that the finger bone that I had obtained was just one small part of the Immortal King.

That meant that the power of the Immortal King that I had absorbed wouldn't have even been 1% of the full power of the Immortal King. Yet that alone had been enough to give me a Unique Class.

It was easy to see just how powerful the Immortal King was that only a single bone was enough to do all of this.

"Only how long will it take for me to find all of these pieces of the Immortal King?" I couldn't help shaking my head as I said this to myself.

Taking a deep breath, I calmed myself down and started thinking about it rationally.

"Since I was able to find this first piece with the Undead Society, it would only make sense that they would have more pieces. The leader of the outpost said that the higher ups of the Undead Society had talked about the Immortal King in the past, so it only makes sense that they would be collecting more pieces. So if I want to complete this quest, it seems like I have no choice but to go all out against the Undead Society."

I already wanted to take revenge on the Undead Society, so it wasn't as if I was going to let them off in the first place.

But now it seemed like I had even more of a reason to take down the Undead Society.

After thinking this through, I turned back to the quest page and looked at the rewards.

"Rewards: Unknown."

"Couldn't you just tell me what it is?" I asked the system, but there was no response that came from the system in the end.

I shook my head again before looking at the quest page once more.

I wanted to see if there was anything else that was there with this quest page, but it really didn't seem like there was anything else.

One might think that the hero or the demon king would have a quest for themselves as well, but it seemed like this wasn't the case.

I knew the reason why, it was simply because the demon king and the hero weren't real heroes or demon kings. They had the class for it, but they weren't unique classes just yet.

So it could be said that the two of them were just nothing more than a hero and a demon king in training.

"It seems like I'm the one that's progressed the furthest."

The one thing that I secretly worried about was the fact that I was supposed to be on the path of becoming a sage. However, I was captured and turned into a lich by those necromancers.

If it wasn't for the shared stats, then I certainly wouldn't have been a powerful lich…

But now, it seemed like I had found a path.

I would follow this path and see where it would lead me.
