"—the city, flirt with him, and try and get him killed?!" Snu yelled, red-faced and actually steaming from her blonde curls, up into the scowling face of Francesca.
"Flirt with him? FLIRT WITH HIM? I no do nothing!" Francesca screamed back while shoving a finger dangerously close to Snu's face. "It's not MY fault if your man look at me like that! Maybe he no get enough at home to eat? Eh?"
"You were pressing your tits into his head!" Snu swiped Francesca's hand away and stepped closer. Their faces were inches away from each other, even though Francesca towered over her. "I know what the fuck you're doing! Come in here, mess with him? After I marked him? Try and worm your little slutty way into his head? You think I'm stupid?!"
Oh right, that…
"Do what?" Francesca threw up her hands and looked around. "What I do? You came stomp in here with little leg and big mouth," She jabbed her finger into Snu's chest. "Maybe you jealous? Maybe you do not like that I have more cushion?"
Snu's curls started to float around her head, which Alex immediately recognized as the first step to her going full Giantess mode. The women continued to yell into each other's faces while he sat cross legged on the floor, kneading his hands together, crumpled note stowed away in his pocket. He had no intention of reading it with a catfight brewing. Gravewhistle sat near him, cross legged, eating bread like popcorn. He even caught Emilio's face frozen in an 'O', looking back and forth between the women as he drank in the drama. Even cats like good reality dramas. Nino and Nina hung back, trying to look busy.
Francesca shouted down at Snu like she was scolding a child. "Always the small one. Bark. Bark. Like a puppy!" She flailed her hands as she towered over the Dungeon Boss.
Alex just winced. Snu's face had gone all crimson with curls floating higher and higher.
"This is much better than weeding and covert operations, Alex." Gravewhistle leaned in before tossing a knob of fluffy interior into his mouth. Francesca still scolded Snu, thinking her passionate nature could win out in the end.
"—Sempre la piccola cagna inutile!" Always the useless little bitch!
"What did you just call me?" Snu's voice was different. It wasn't her human, normal one. It was the one that scared and excited Alex.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?" She yelled and began to transform in the kitchen of Nino's.
"Oh no, she's going full Giantess," Alex said nervously. "Not the full Giantess." But the part of him that had been marked by a Silver Grade Succubi was excited to see her other form.
Kind of fun to have a couple women fight over you…
Snu began to morph into the form that Alex had only seen a few times. Once when she answered her lair on his first Dungeon delivery, the next at the gashapong store. He'd be lying if he hadn't requested it a couple times during the hanky panky as well. Each time it still made him amazed and slightly broke his boy brain.
She stretched and filled out in the middle of the kitchen as Francesca yelled and made gestures in her face. Prior to her transformation, she wore a simple hoodie and pants. Those were replaced, though none saw her change, and it happened in a blink. Suddenly she wore a black cocktail dress with red heels, filling it to the brim with long, muscular legs, silvery hair, and curves that would make even a wrinkly priest creak a neck. She became every person's perfect figure, and if you asked just nice enough, maybe she'd pinch your butt and send you home with more than a single welt. Little horns poked above her head, and in a matter of seconds, she towered over Francesca, who still yelled at Snu in a blind, Italian rage. Her perfume hit Alex a moment later and he tried not to lose his composure.
"She smelling something terribly funny," Gravewhistle commented while sucking oil from bread. "I much prefer Marzipan's, or Petunia's scent of body odour and grime. Chippy, sweaty toes? Sign me up. Eh, Alex? Eh?"
"Yeah, I didn't need to know that one."
Francesca tiled her chin back to stare up at the towering Snu, and anyone else might have folded under the horns and legs and perfume that pressed itself into the air. Not Francesca, though.
It's a well-known fact that Italian women don't scare easy, and most are born angry and ready to use that anger to either beat troublesome people or solve a good portion of their problems. Generations of yelling across balconies, cursing at people, smacking sons upside the head, beating bread and pasta, and being the secret, but not so secret rulers of households had morphed their notorious fury into one that even the scariest Monsters hesitated around.
"You think this scare me?" Francesca shoved a long finger up into Snu's perfect face. "Please. One time I break postal man's finger for try and kiss me! Now you just bigger bitch! Bigger, fatter pig! You think I scare of you?"
The air got heavy as if someone, Snu, pulled velvet curtains in the kitchen. She pressed her Glamour out, thickening the perfume and making Alex's head spin as Gravewhistle paused his bread popcorning.
"Oh no, the Glamour!" Alex reached for the underwear shoved into his pocket, which flared in heat. It worked before, and had helped against Scrum Lord, but his head started to swim like he'd inhaled a gallon of wine. She was apparently stronger now.
"You will never—" Snu started with her sultry voice.
"Oh shut up! You ugly cow!" Francesca cut her off. She hadn't even blushed a bit from Snu's Skill pressing out. Guess she wasn't into women even a little bit.

Snu bent down until her perfect face was a millimeter from Francesca's. "You should talk less about me, and more about that wart on your mouth. The one everyone sees before they see you. Like a witch. Only going to get worse, you know? You're right, I don't need to worry, I just need to wait as you turn into more of a hag."
Alex saw Francesca's face drop as Snu's words landed. For all her blustering handwaving Italian fury, there it was, the split second crack that everyone gets when someone chinks past their armour. The kind of comment that she had likely heard a hundred times before but secretly lived in the back of her head. That damned wart, that if anything made her even more beautiful, was a soft spot for the towering beauty.
Francesca's nostrils flared, her shoulders shook, and with a scream that pained the ears, she launched herself forward to slam into Snu. The temporarily smaller woman barrel tackled the Dungeon Boss and the two of them went tumbling to the floor in a mess of wild hair and thrashing limbs.
Pink crystals formed around Snu like viscous glass and shivered with restraint as Francesca slapped her across her whole body. The pair rolled around, and Francesca's hands popped in and out of existence to jab and smack Snu while the Dungeon Boss mounted and tried to tear her hair out of her skull. Ckearky the Dungeon Boss wasn't fighting at full strength, looking to show Francesca a lesson rather than send her to the shadow realm.
A mean palm connected with Snu's cheek, making a perfect clapping noise and sending Emilio meowing. Gravewhistle dropped his bread and started cheering as Snu righted her face to look down into Francesca's pinned body.
Her eyes glowed that terrifying brightness. She was changing something, with the pink crystals shaking harder and ready to shred the thrashing Francesca beneath her.
"Ooooooh no—" Alex began to get up. To do what? He wasn't sure. Maybe tackle Snu to put an end to thing before it all ended in bloody tears. If Snu was about to unleash some Skill, there was no way Francesca would survive it.
"STATA ZIT!"
The command rolled out of Nina all thick and rattling, as if she wasn't entirely human, and as truth be told, she wasn't just a dotting, slightly scary Nonna. It felt like the air in the room collapsed in on itself, the temperature dropping to an icy underground tomb. Frost bloomed across the tiles around Alex and climbed up the legs of kitchen equipment. Little puffs of fog puffed out of Emilio's nose, who was looking around, scared of whatever had unleashed in the space. Thankfully, Alex could still move.
But Francesca and Snu couldn't. They looked solid, eyes darting around, the rest of their body frozen mid attack. Only their eyes could move around in a panic. Snu, a Silver Grade Dungeon Boss, looped trapped with curling lips, her crystals frozen in place. It was like all fun and temperature had been sucked out of the room.
Nina, the heart of the Lich, descended on them, floating over with bare feet as her slippers slid up in the air around her. The shoes stretched mid-air to double their size, thickening up and becoming brutally blunt objects for thwacking. Alex finally caught her eyes, and the sight chilled him right through. Her eyes weren't eyes anymore, but pits of black endless nothingness, sucking in his attention and light like a grave that seems not right. Like something was still crawling around under the ground scratching to get out and never running out of air.
Alex had seen Nino unleash some of his simmering fire power. This was different. Where Nino was hot and angry, Nina felt ancient and cold, unforgiving and unrelenting. Like a ghost that would help you clean up, so long as you didn't make a mess. A ghoul other ghosts were terrified of. When she spoke again, the sound was draged, cutting like screeching knives.
"Not in my Domain," her eyes flared black against the frozen women. "You no come in here and destroy anything. And famiglia is untouchable. Do you understand me, little Dungeon Boss? Blink if understand." A slipper wound up over Snu's head, and she blinked quickly as Nina turned to regard her niece. "And you. Never speak another woman like this. We deal with enough shit. What you do is stupid, egg Alex on. And no shove tit in anyone face. It get you what you want, but not here. No under my watch."
Nina flicked her wooden spoon and a blizzard began to form around Francesca and Snu. Nina's slippers, growing larger again, angled themselves and wound up for a spankening. Gravewhistle's loaf shattered in his hand from the cold, and Emilio leapt back into Alex's lap to watch Nina with watchful eyes. The cat didn't seem scared, just acutely interested.
"Capishe?" Nina rolled out in that monstrous Nonna voice.
The ice broke just enough from their mouths, and Francesca was first to blurt it out.
"Yes ma'am!" Her eyes went to Snu. "And sorry…"
Snu's powerful form shook, and Alex thought she'd spit back defiance. Then there'd be the terrifying prospect of a Silver Grade and a Lich going at in not a few feet away from Alex, who would be royally screwed in the process without any Essence or Skills. Yet, her lips twisted as she forced out the words her Succubi form hated saying. "Yes…ma'am."
Huh, even a Silver Grade backs down to Nina…
"Perfetto." Nina twirled her spoon and the cold snapped and retreated into her black eyes like the ocean of the dead. The kitchen thawed, and Francesca and Snu collapsed together in a gasping heap, steam puffing off their bodies. The blizzard of Nina went as soon as quick as it came.
"You see Alex? This is why I marry Nina. Scariest person I ever meet, even when we child. You pick…well," he shook his head. "In the end, it always woman who choose the man."
Snu pushed herself upright off the ground and Francesca. She didn't lunge at Francesca again. Instead, her goddess form collapsed back down into the freckled cutie patootie in a hoodie. She went back to looking more like someone's cute next door neighbour than a Dungeon Boss that could, and had, melted his mind. Francesca scrambled up, dusting her slacks and going red in the face.
"Sorry about the mean comments," Snu muttered while not making eye contact.
"Enoooough of this!" Nino clapped his hands from his stool, trying to break the tension. "Now that Alex not dead, and you two hash out a little bit…," he looked back at Alex and rubbed his hands together. "What did you steal? Maybe we make use?"
"Shhhh!" Nina, back to a less Monstrous but just as terrifying slipper version, glanced over to Snu. She even had her slippers back on.
"Ooooh, uhh…," Nino looked back and forth, realizing he let something slip. "I mean that paper! What was paper? You crumple note and put in pocket."
"Note?" Snu's head jerked up and she glared at Alex. "Who's slipping you notes, now? First this one," she jerked a thumb in Francesca's direction. "Now another Dungeon Boss?"
Alex was exhausted. He just wanted to crawl into bed and sleep away his burning Core with aide from the plate of food. But everyone was staring at him, expectant as he drew out the note Brody had slipped him. The tips, including the probably crumby flower card, would have to wait until later.
"I'm taking tomorrow…uhh…today off," Alex shook his head before asking Snu. "How did you even hear about me not making it back right away?"
"Oh, that was easy." Snu answered, smiling sweetly. "Some Dungeon Boss was whining on Biscord about some slippery delivery boy. Wouldn't shut the hell up about it. When you didn't answer me, I came to check it out your place and umm…you weren't home, so I came here. If you weren't here, well, let's just say Francesca wouldn't be the one getting a slapping."
"Keeping tab on man," Francesca added. "I no disagree. Maybe you not so bad."
