"Didn't you say in one of your letters that the most powerful wizard of Mendoza didn't want to fight with the most powerful spellcaster that was heading the invading undead army?" Anders asked his son.
"Yes, I did write that, and their explanation about avoiding that kind of battle was because the powers of those wizards are truly beyond imagining that the result of their battle would destroy the land. I'm not sure if it was the true reason, and even if it was, I would prefer that they go ahead with the battle, as long as they allowed the citizens to evacuate first. The lands could be restored by magic, and in my opinion, it was worth it as long as they drove the undead away."
"Do you think Mendoza would fall?" Anders asked grimly.
"Yes, if they kept being passive. I'm one of the wizards that defending the central section of the Western Wall where the undead armies are attacking. The undead horde is truly gigantic, and their spellcasters are as mighty as Mendoza's wizards. I feel like remaining as a passive defender would only consume resources, and resources are finite. I was assured by my teammates, who are all Supreme Wizards by the way, that the resources that were being consumed by the undead's nightly attacks are not too worrisome. They kept assuring me that Mendoza is rich and the resources are still being produced. Not only that, New Drennor and Ormunda are also helping Mendoza, but still, I can't help but believe that it's a mistake to remain passive."
"All of your teammates are Supreme Wizards?" Anders asked, very surprised.
"Haven't I shared that information? I must have forgotten. I was transferred to another team after a day of defending a section of the wall with my previous team. Mendoza's higher-ups were impressed by my power and my magical stamina, which was even above some Supreme Wizards. To be honest, I feel like that in a couple of months, I would reach the Supreme Rank!" Anton boasted.
"And here I thought my power increase was fast enough, but you still dwarfed my speed," Anton's father said, but with a smile, and Anton also just smiled.
After his meeting with his father in his office, Anton went to his room to rest. Before he slept, he didn't forget to drown the garden and the fruit orchards in mana water. At least with the recent mana rain, the garden and the fruit orchard would still produce mana-enriched products that allowed the businesses that depended on those fields to become sought after.
In truth, the cinema business alone was enough to make sure that the Rose Manor would remain afloat and even thrive. At least, he didn't have to provide new movies to Romina since the ones that he gave them were enough to last for several months.
The next day, Anton made his presence known to everyone. Together with his father, who thankfully postponed his plans to delve into the dungeon accompanied him in visiting the flower shop, the shop that sells the different products from the Orchard and the Cinema.
At first, the ones managing those businesses kept showing Anton the accounts of the businesses, but when he kept declining and just focused on talking with the people inside the businesses, they understood that Anton didn't care about the businesses' finances and just wanted to greet the people there.

The cinema was thriving. Just like the theater that his father established on the ship, its opening was from noon until evening. There were two cinemas showing movies in the building that the family had rented, and they would keep showing the same movies for a month. A week before they would be replaced, advertisements would be sent out regarding the new movies that would be shown.
Anton was truly surprised at how pricey the tickets were, but people still flocked to the cinema, even more than once. Because of the cinema's success, the manor had to hire more guards, and some of them were even wizards, to make sure that the manor's riches were protected.
One interesting thing that was shared with him by Romina's people was that some businessmen, particularly those who owned theaters, were starting to create their own movies. It was said that the theater people would perform their plays, and a magic recorder would record them. There were a lot of problems that occurred, though, like how to effectively manage the audio, the lighting, the special effects, and more. They had to learn that keeping the magic recorder in one place was not very effective. Because of that, the theater people became the cinema's avid fans because they truly wanted to steal the techniques on how to create a film.
At first, Romina wanted to deter those who wanted to copy the cinema by creating their own movies by stealing techniques through watching the films, but Anders told her to let them be. Anton's father told them that he had shown them behind-the-scenes actions on how to create a movie once, and it was incredibly complex that it took Earth more than a hundred years to achieve their current progress. That meant that it would not be easy to copy the cinema business. Aside from that, even if they manage to create their own movies, the quality would undoubtedly be beneath what Anton could provide, and it would only highlight their own business's appeal.
After they were done inspecting the family businesses, which in reality was just Anton and Anders going out to explore the nearby places for bonding purposes, they continued walking the streets of the section of Ormunda where the Rose Manor was a part of. Anton complained to Anders that it was a pity that Anna was not able to get permission from the school to take a day off. Apparently, the action of her teacher in taking a leave for a month before broke a lot of rules that they had to abide by the academy's rules strictly, at least for this year.
One advantage of the family's cinema thriving was that several businesses opened up related to it. Some shops sold toys, costumes, accessories, and a lot more related to the movies. Again, Romina wanted to enter those types of businesses as well and enforce the idea that their shops would be the true legitimate source of original products based on movies, but again, Anders stopped her.
Anton's father told Romina that their family would only encounter problems from the citizens of Ormunda if they got greedy and took the whole pie for themselves. Romina was not satisfied, but she had no choice but to obey the head of the family. Besides, the cinema was only open for a few weeks, and the amount of coins they had acquired was already startlingly huge.
Anton was extremely amused at the number of young people who were walking around wearing costumes from movies. He, too, had the urge to change his mage robes to Jedi Robes. He knew then that rich, idle young people were the same, whatever dimension they came from. Full of angst and ready to dress up as the ones they consider their heroes. He did not fault them, since again, he was the same.
For a brief moment, Anton felt sad for losing his friends. Back on the ship, the air was full of excitement since he could join the Cosplay Events together with his friends. Here in Ormunda, Anton currently had no close friends because he intentionally did not befriend anyone due to still feeling the grief for losing his friends and wondered if it was a mistake. But then again, they were currently at war, and no one knew what would happen in the future, so he thought that it would be best to focus on that instead.
