[Scar Bandit Hideout.]
The interior of the small, dilapidated cottage was dimly lit, reeking of stale air and fear. Ellen sat chained to a wooden chair, her hands bound behind her back, a rough cloth silencing her mouth.
Her gaze, however, was anything but restrained—it was calm, cold, and assessing, moving across the five Scar Bandits before her, and then settling on the terrified, bound children huddled in the corner.
"Boss, do you think this is right? I mean, tying her with chains? Won't that hurt her wrist?" Jace, one of the bandits, asked, glancing nervously over his shoulder at Ellen.
The utter lack of reaction from the girl unnerved him more than any struggle would have.
"No... This girl is weird," Scarface countered, walking closer to Ellen.
"Since we took her, she hasn't made a single sound, just staring at us with such an unsettling gaze... And, I can't feel any energy from her."
"Any energy? Dude, she's just twelve, and a human at that. How can she have energy?" The fifth bandit, a hulking brute known only as Mountain, scoffed, his voice booming.
"You are wrong, Mountain," Scarface stated, his gaze fixed on Ellen's unnervingly tranquil face.
"This girl was riding one of the Space Race cars. Those vehicles need a celestial-grade energy input just to start. She must have energy." He revealed, removing the cloth from Ellen's mouth.
"Wait, you're right... Is she canceling her energy? But why?" Tala, the only female bandit, asked, her confusion giving way to suspicion.
Ellen's indifferent expression finally cracked, not with fear, but with palpable disdain. "You guys are really amateur... Even the Ogres are a lot better than you Humans."
Scarface let out a short, wicked smirk. "Oh? You speak. I thought you were dumb." He tilted his head.
"Do you want to tell us your father's name? We want to ask him if you are valuable."
"You can't bear my father's name," Ellen replied, her voice flat and clear. "Besides, I don't need help dealing with you morons."
"Deal with us?" Scarface turned to his four members, and they all burst into arrogant laughter.
"How can you alone handle five half-Heavenly Rank and one Heavenly Rank warrior?" Mountain bellowed, enjoying the joke.
"Haha! She can't even escape from those chains, how can she deal with us?" The fourth, a skinny, nervous man, chortled.
"Oh? You mean these chains?" Ellen raised both her hands slowly. The metal links had been silently shattered without them even knowing.
".....?!"
"This?"
The five bandits took an immediate, shocked step backward. The chains were not just broken; the thick, reinforced metal was twisted and shredded as if dissolved by acid.
"You know..." Ellen stood up. The air in the small cottage immediately grew thick and heavy. A palpable pressure of a peak Celestial Rank warrior, burst forth from her small frame, violently forcing the five bandits to their knees.
"This?!" Scarface was horrified, the realization of his terrible mistake crashing over him.
"How...?! A kid can't reach a Celestial Rank! Their body isn't strong enough to withstand the energy!" Jace gasped, his face slick with sweat, his voice a choked whisper.
"I am not a human... That's why I called you five, morons," Ellen said, her eyes glowing faintly with a primal, alien light. She snapped her fingers.
BOOM!
The bandits and the ten children raised their heads in shock as a huge, magnificent white python with horns materialized behind Ellen, its massive head nearly touching the cottage ceiling.
HISSS!!!!
The colossal serpent released a shriek—a powerful, sonic blast of raw energy. The force alone threw the five bandits backward, smashing them against the cottage wall.
BAM!!
The four hit the wall hard, vomiting mouthfuls of blood before collapsing to the floor, stunned and broken.
"Monster!" Tala choked, staring at Ellen in utter terror. The girl who looked twelve was a weapon of mass destruction.
"My father told me I should kill everyone who goes against me... And my Mum told me to be a sweet little princess... I try to balance the two, and you fools want to ruin that." Ellen walked towards Scarface, stopping directly before the man who was now groveling.
"Please! Please spare me!!" Scarface dropped fully to his knees, pleading to the twelve-year-old child-monster.
Ellen placed her right leg casually onto Scarface's left shoulder and exerted a minimal amount of pressure.
CRACK!
"Ah!"
Scarface let out a painful growl as his collarbone splintered, his face turning a sickly pale in horror.
"I will take care of you guys the way my father will, and the kids the way my mother will... What do you think?"
"No! No! Take care of us the way your mother will!!" The skinny man, the one who had joked about the chains, screamed, already on his knees, begging.
"You sure about that?" Ellen asked, turning to face him, a terrifying calm in her voice.
"Yes! Yes!" the skinny man nodded frantically.
"Alright then!!" Ellen waved a finger.
The python's massive tail shot forward like a whip, punching through the skinny man's chest.
"...??!!!!"
Before the horrified eyes of everyone—bandits and children alike—he dropped dead, blood pooling rapidly beneath him. The python recoiled just as quickly, its tail clean.
".....?!"
The other four bandits were frozen in sheer, mind-breaking terror. They had just chosen the "kind" route.
"You know, my Mum is even more dangerous than my dad, well... Only to her enemies." Ellen added.
With a light, final push, Scarface slid backward on his knees, hitting the wall again.
"I have a race to win. Otherwise, I would have dealt with all of you myself." She turned to Jace.
"Where is my car?"
"Out... Outside!" Jace stammered, his body shaking uncontrollably.
"In good shape?"
"Yes! Yes! Yes!!"
The four remaining bandits nodded in unison, their will utterly shattered.
BOOOM!!
Ellen snapped her fingers, and the immense python vanished into thin air. At that exact moment, Lola and ten Heavenly Rank soldiers burst through the cottage door, their guns raised.
"....?!!"
The newcomers froze, a tableau of shock, confusion, disbelief, awe, and surprise painted on their faces. They stared at the four kneeling, bloodied bandits, the terrified children, and the dead body of the skinny man.
"What happened here?" Lola asked, her voice tight with confusion, lowering her weapon slightly.
Ellen's demeanor instantly changed. Her eyes welled up, her chin trembled, and she became the picture of a weak, meek, and utterly traumatized child.
"Aunt Lola, thank goodness you are here! They bullied me!!"
'Bullied you?! You were the one bullying us!!' Scarface screamed inwardly, his mind reeling from the transformation.
Lola quickly scanned the room, glanced at the dead body, and then gave Ellen a smile.
"Good... I will take care of this. You should go and finish your race."
"Thank you so much, Aunt!" Ellen nodded, rushing out of the room, her action followed by a cautious signal from Lola that sent five soldiers after her.
"My Queen, something didn't add up," the lead guard reported, examining the body.
"This guy's ribcage was completely destroyed by something unknown. We looked around and found nothing."
"Stop," Lola interrupted, her eyes suddenly clear and cold.
"I know what killed him." She turned her gaze, now filled with righteous fury, onto the four remaining bandits.
"Do you know whose kid that was?" she asked chillingly. The group remained silent, unable to speak, their horror now compounded by a deep, cold dread.
"That little girl is God Wolf's daughter," Lola hissed, her voice a low, dangerous growl. "You not only dared kidnap her, you also kidnapped countless other children. You will pay for this."
The four were already broken, but the name God Wolf finished them.
"We... We kidnapped God Wolf's daughter?" Jace muttered, his face turning a deadly pale white.
