Re: God of Formation.

Chapter 130: The Fire of Master Teachers.

A Week Later.

The news of the Master Teacher had spread throughout the Soaring Cloud Region like a wide-spread fire.

The rumor swept the region by storm, and many clans could not believe it, sending their spies to confirm the reports.

Inside the Xie clan's main hall, all the elders wore ugly expressions.

"Clan master, what are we going to do?" one elder asked.

"Why are you asking me? How would I know?" the Xie clan snapped, furious.

Under the coordination of the Gong clan, they had withdrawn their descendants from the Mystic City Academy, ceasing their participation in the awakening.

"We shouldn't concern ourselves with the so-called Master Teacher. Let's wait to see how things unfold," the First Elder said slowly.

"I agree with the First Elder; let's wait and see this so-called Master Teacher," the clan master said with a hint of calm.

"This might all be a ruse planned by the old dean. I heard their city barely survived the ruin beast tide," an elder said with a sneer.

Everyone nodded, and the tension in their hearts seemed to lessen a bit.

The thought of their clan descendants not being chosen by heaven because of their mistakes was a loss they could not bear.

"Even though we don't know if the old dean was telling the truth or not, let's send a message to the Gong clan and hear from them."

Gong clan

"How could this be?" The Matriarch wore a solemn expression.

They had just planned on how to deal with Jun Wu, only to learn there was an awakening ceremony that allowed others to be chosen by the heavens.

"This is crazy! I don't believe it!" The usually calm First Elder cursed.

It was as if heaven was adamant about destroying their clan.

Why was it that every time they targeted Jun Wu, something would come up?

All the elders wore ugly expressions.

They dared not think that what they had heard about the Master Teacher might be true.

With the appearance of Master Teachers, what would happen to their clan if they had no master teacher.

They would fade into obscurity.

They could and would not accept that.

The hall fell silent, the thick tension almost palpable.

No one spoke.

No one breathed loudly.

Finally, the Matriarch broke the tense silence. "Do we know the five Master Teachers?"

"Yes, I've managed to get their names and backgrounds," the External Affairs Elder said quickly.

"Good. We will start from there." Her gaze turned deadly cold, filled with killing intent.

"Dispatch our men and kill everyone from their clans. Let's see who dares to become a Master Teacher."

Cold and brutal, but no one objected.

This was the only path they could take; otherwise, they would fade to obscurity.

"I'll see to it immediately," an elder responded with a nod.

"Also, send a message to our new allies," she commanded.

Now that they had new allies, they did not need to fight the battle alone.

Inside a chamber shrouded in darkness, an old man sat on his throne, his face obscured by the darkness.

"What?! More heaven-chosen?!" His voice boomed through the chamber.

The ground trembled, cracks appeared on the pillars, and debris fell from the roof.

Kneeling before him, the servant did not dare raise his head.

"Yes, my lord." The servant nodded. "Jun Wu, the first chosen, creates an awakening platform that allows others to be chosen."

"H-How is this possible?" He murmured, his voice trembling with shock.

Many might not understand the importance of Master Teacher, but how could he not?

For over a millennium, this world had never had a Master Teacher.

But why now?

Why now?

Their plan was about to succeed, and their years of planning and sacrifice would be worth it.

But now…

His emotions boiled, and the air inside the chamber began to howl fiercely.

He had been stuck in this barren world for millennia with the hope of recovering, completing his mission, and returning, but now—

"Dammit it!"

Bang!

He slammed his armrest, and the chamber quaked as if struck by a powerful earthquake.

"I don't care how you do it. I want them killed immediately," he roared.

Ahhh!

The servant was sent flying by the force of the roar.

Yet the old man seated on the throne did not care about the servant's fragile life.

He no longer cared about the hidden rules that stopped powerful cultivators.

The world could be destroyed for all he cared, so long as the Master Teacher must not be allowed to grow.

Jun Clan

In the grand main hall, the council of elders discussed with solemn expressions.

"I knew it! We should have captured him before he grew to this stage. Now he dares disobey the ancestor order," Jun Tan An shouted in fury.

Everyone inside the hall listened but did not rush to respond.

"Right now, our priorities are not about Jun Wu but about how we're going to react to the appearance of Master Teachers," Jun Xinyue said, steering the conversation off from Jun Wu.

Hearing her, everyone in the hall looked at her for a moment without speaking.

They knew she was supporting Jun Wu's father.

The clan leader sneered. "What do you mean he's not our priority? If we had him in the clan, he could have built the awakening platform for us."

Many elders nodded in agreement.

"Why should he do that?" Jun Xinyue fired back.

"Did he owe the clan anything? Instead of you appeasing him for the clan's wrongdoing, you're here throwing your weight around. Pathetic."

Hiss!

Many elders drew in cold breaths.

No one expected Jun Xinyue to come against the clan leader, who was her elder brother, so forcefully.

Jun Qigang's expression turned ugly.

'You this bitch!' he growled inwardly, clenching his fists so tightly that the knuckles turned white.

"Watch your mouth," Jun Huang fired back. "We all know how you feel about his father, so stop this righteous speech."

"Righteous speech?" Jun Xinyue scoffed. "Now I can see why no one wants to marry you. Your head is full of shit."

Hiss!

Everyone sucked in a sharp breath, shifting on their seats. They all knew of her sharp tongue, but this was on another level.

"Enough!" one of the ancestors said calmly, but his voice carried the weight of an imperial decree.

"Dismiss."
