Chapter 1032: Keep Running

These people came well-prepared, so naturally they had many strange items in hand. Just as several Superpower Users ascended into the sky, they simultaneously threw an item from their hands. Seizing the moment before Yi Tian could catch up, they swiftly constructed a cyan light net, attempting to enshroud Yi Tian from above. For them, Yi Tian was incredibly dangerous, and if allowed to chaos, the trouble would undoubtedly be immense.

The wind roared past their ears, and the heavy pressure descended upon their bodies. As Yi Tian turned to pursue, he saw a net of light covering him from overhead. He didn't know what strange things the Alliance had, but he certainly wouldn't be foolish enough to confront them directly. Without looking back, he plummeted toward the ground.

With the cyan light net in the sky, the ground was also far from peaceful. The Alliance exerted immense effort in hunting down Yi Tian and his group of eight. Previously, they sent Twelve Palace members, but unexpectedly, two of them were swiftly incapacitated by Yi Tian before they could fully exert themselves. This time, they dared not waste those experts recklessly, so they dispatched a great number of people. Under normal circumstances, such an arrangement would be highly incorrect, but it seemed the Alliance leaders were out of their minds, choosing this crude approach to deal with Yi Tian and his companions.

As Yi Tian turned and fell to the ground, those watching this terrifying-looking figure quickly scattered, forming a surrounding circle, waiting for Yi Tian to fall into their trap. Superpower Users that couldn't fly were stationed nearby, ready to pounce when Yi Tian landed, hoping to take down a dog that fell into the water. Yet something unexpected occurred.

Yi Tian didn't change direction, but before landing, he drew a mysterious rune in front of him. The rune was simple, with crooked lines, yet the Energy emitted from it was chilling, blending with the current heavy atmosphere, and it felt suffocating.

Relative to ordinary people, such pressure was hard to bear, yet for Superpower Users, this pressure was normal. In confrontation, Energy often erupted, turbulence arose, fragments scattered. If they couldn't withstand such pressure, then they had no business being here. A low shout was heard as a Fire Element Superpower User was the first to act.

These people weren't fools, naturally not giving Yi Tian a chance to strike first.

When the red light appeared, the surrounding people felt a sudden heat on their faces, instinctively stepping back. In such an oppressive environment, a sudden burst of high temperature was unbearable for anyone. Yet the nearby Superpower Users didn't feel much, as they watched the rising red light and let out low shouts, unleashing their Energy too.

If they didn't lend a hand now, it would be troublesome if Yi Tian, this Great Demon, slipped away. To them, Yi Tian was undoubtedly a demon.

These Superpower Users were much stronger than those from the city, and very disciplined, coordinating well even in attack. The first to strike was the Fire Element Superpower User, followed by others of the same element, or those with similar Attributes. Instantly, a pillar of fire surged straight towards Yi Tian, as if intending to completely turn Yi Tian into ashes.

Is this Yi Tian still the same Yi Tian of the past? The one who only knew to evade, only wanting to find Bai Lian? The Alliance people naturally didn't know the answer, and Yi Tian himself couldn't possibly express it.

With a flash of icy light in his eyes, the rune floating in front of him suddenly transformed into a stream of light and rushed into the fire pillar. A rumbling sound was heard, yet the fire pillar's momentum remained unchanged, and Yi Tian showed no intention to change his movement, directly charging towards the fire pillar. What is this fire light, and what kind of person is Yi Tian?

No radiance, no overwhelming momentum, only a fleeting icy light in his eyes that sends chills down the spine.

With a gentle tap of his finger, a Silver Light appeared at Yi Tian's fingertip. With merely this light touch, he stopped the advancing fire pillar, and slowly pushed it back, causing the fire pillar to rapidly retreat. It was an extremely strange scene. The formidable fire pillar couldn't withstand his mere light touch.

The Superpower Users on the ground intended to intensify their efforts to turn this demon into scraps, but before they could act, a Silver Light emerged within the fire pillar, followed by the pillar braking in the middle. As sparks flew, those people tried to dodge, but then they heard a roar from overhead, as Yi Tian's terrifying face appeared right in front of them.

They seemed to have heard a laugh or perhaps nothing at all, then suddenly saw a Silver Light flash. They felt a chill in their necks, and the entire world began to spin chaotically. What kind of feeling was this?

Blood sprayed from severed necks like pillars of fire. Such a scene induced extreme fear. With just one encounter, their heads were severed. If they lingered any longer, wouldn't they all end up here? Witnessing this, their hearts were already trembling with fear.

Even those who were accustomed to life and death couldn't help feeling intimidated by the bloody scene, involuntarily retreating. But as soon as they retreated, they sensed a sharp killing intent rushing toward them. Was this really the person they had heard about? The reports didn't depict Yi Tian as so fierce, nor did they describe such brutal methods. Yet the person before them now seemed to harvest dozens of lives with every move far from what the reports portrayed.

Immense terror made them retreat, yet Yi Tian pursued them, treading upon the crimson blood, hunting them down. He didn't know what these people were thinking but could see their fear. That's all he needed. He need not pity them; he just wanted to kill those devoid of compassion.

No one understood Yi Tian's deep-seated resentment, nor did anyone care to.

Turning swiftly, he caught up with a Superpower User and effortlessly claimed their life. Like reaping, Yi Tian continued slaughtering on the ground, with no one able to stop him. Everyone was terrified—not that Yi Tian's killing methods were excessively cruel, but that he was too ruthless, treating lives as nothing. Every action claimed a life within moments, leaving corpses and crimson blood in his wake.

Those Superpower Users wanted to stop this ferocious evil, yet their formations had long been disrupted. How could they resist Yi Tian's assault now? With minimal resistance, their hastily formed defenses crumbled. They scattered, hoping not to be pursued by this savage creature. They didn't need to run fast, only a bit faster than the last person. Yet at this moment, there was no 'last person,' as anyone trailing behind was instantly struck down by Yi Tian, unable to last long at all. The second-to-last quickly became the last.

Thus, everyone began fleeing frantically. At this point, no one remembered they were Superpower Users nor that they possessed heavy weapons capable of reducing Yi Tian, this lone warrior, into fragments. All they thought about was escaping, while Yi Tian pursued relentlessly, seemingly intent on slaughtering them all.

Dark clouds hovered overhead, with oppressive air suffocating them, seeming like it might rain, yet no raindrops fell.

Those fleeing on the ground sweat profusely while Yi Tian tirelessly pursued them, slaying them one by one. The idea of not pursuing desperate foes was sound, but Yi Tian paid no heed. He saw those with only half their lives left turning to face him, glaring viciously as if to fight him with their lives.

With a cold laugh, this expression appeared exceptionally grim on Yi Tian's face with only half its skin remaining.

"Not running anymore?" A raspy and eerie voice emanated from Yi Tian's mouth, like a sharp blade piercing directly through their hearts, causing them to tremble.

Those people didn't respond to Yi Tian's words, instead roaring like beasts, charging toward him. Using 'bold and fearless' to describe their state at the moment was most appropriate, but they weren't bold and fearless, they were scared to death, which led to their explosive actions.
