Two Mythical Grimoires!
One gleamed with radiant gold, the other with a dazzling silver.
Grey could hardly believe his eyes but the truth was undeniable, it was right in front of him.
Eve had warned him that she sensed two Mythical Grimoires here, but he never imagined they would fall into his hands so easily. His original plan was to sneak in under the cover of night and steal them, yet now they were simply being handed over.
Lifting his gaze, Grey looked at the King in utter confusion. Even in kingdoms far stronger than this one, obtaining a single Mythical Grimoire was nearly impossible, yet here he was, holding two. The Celestria Kingdom had only one!
The absurdity of it all left him completely dumbfounded.
The King only smiled gently, as if he was seeing his long-lost son or something. "This is the most valuable treasure of this kingdom, and I entrust it to you," he said, while secretly mumbling in his heart, 'The most valuable treasure that we cannot use and will likely never use for our entire lives.'
"Thank you." Grey bowed his head slightly. Naturally, he knew what the King was thinking: if a stronger kingdom with so many high-ranking Book Grandmasters couldn't tame it, then it was unrealistic for them to even have a chance at taming it.
In truth, the kingdom had only two Book Grandmasters. One was the King himself, a mere low-tier Grandmaster. The other was the old man standing off to the side, though whether he would lend his aid was uncertain, given his willful and unpredictable nature.
Considering this, entrusting the Grimoires to Grey was the wiser choice. In return, they would gain both a powerful ally and his future favor.
Of course, the fact that the two Mythical Grimoires could not be wielded by the kingdom did not mean they would simply give them away for nothing.
These were still their lifeline, their single thread of hope. Even if the chances were slim, the possibility remained that one day they could use these Mythical Grimoires and become the strongest kingdom.
But Grey was simply too valuable, not to mention his strength, but also the fact that he was able to allow the old man's Grimoire to reach the Mythical Rank, which they could use.
There might be some old people who would soon run to him, seeking to advance to Mythical Rank as well.
The land was vast, and just like the old man, there were many people who were at the end of their life.
All things considered, the King felt that giving the Grimoire to Grey would be their greatest choice, as they also now had a Mythical Grimoire.
A Mythical Grimoire was the key to measuring how powerful a kingdom was.
Since Book Tamers could never advance beyond High-Rank Book Grandmasters, their true power always lay in how powerful their Grimoires were.
With their kingdom now in possession of one, they were already considered among the strongest, surpassing even the Celestria Kingdom.
Grey moved with careful precision as he lifted the two Grimoires into his hands. He could feel their immense weight pressing down on him, abnormal, at least a ton each, but his own strength was nothing to scoff at either. He carried them effortlessly.
The two servants froze, their faces drained of color. Their eyes widened in terror, their minds reeling at the simple sight of his feat.
Grey's gaze shifted to the two Grimoires, studying them carefully.
Honestly, he wasn't entirely confident he could tame both easily. Kurogane had practically fallen into his lap, but that didn't mean these two Grimoires would behave the same way.
As he examined them, his vision began to blur, the world around him fading. In an instant, he found himself in a dark chamber, shrouded in complete emptiness.
"What is going on?" Grey muttered, frowning as his heart thudded unnaturally fast.
Then he felt it, two piercing gazes locking onto him from the darkness…

"What's he doing?" Victoria muttered, watching Grey, who seemed lost in a trance.
"He's trying to tame the two Grimoires," Sophie said, rolling her eyes. Even she, who has only tamed a single Grimoire during the Grimoire Taming Ceremony and hasn't advanced a single rank knew about this.
"I see," Victoria nodded, her gaze on Grey growing even more fascinated.
"Hey, don't look at Grey with that vixen-like expression," Sophie frowned.
"Why not?" Victoria purred. "Isn't he single?"
"Didn't you notice previously that scantily dressed woman practically glued to him, as if she wanted to merge with him?" Sophie retorted, rolling her eyes.
Victoria paused, thoughtful for a moment, then nodded. "Hmm… you're right about that."
"Hmph." Sophie huffed in irritation, feeling oddly offended that someone was trying to chase after him.
"But," Victoria said with a sly smile, "Grey is such a strong man. Shouldn't he have multiple women? Maybe I should try to pursue him."
"What!?" Sophie's brows shot up, her eyes wide in disbelief.
"Yeah," Victoria said, grinning with mischief.
Just as the two were bickering, Grey snapped out of his reverie. The two Grimoires in his hands shimmered and transformed into flickers of light, vanishing as they entered his body.
The nobles froze in shock. The King smiled, marveling in disbelief, and the old man felt bitter, he had spent his entire life trying to advance a Grimoire, and here Grey had done it effortlessly.
"You were able to tame it, Grey?" Sophie asked in complete shock. "And so soon too!?"
"Yeah." Grey chuckled and walked up to her. "Let's leave."
"What were the two Grimoires?" she couldn't help but question.
"A cat Grimoire, and the other is a dog Grimoire," Grey commented lightly.
"Wh-what!?" Sophie was completely dumbfounded, her jaw practically frozen.
"Yeah, also…" Grey paused. Two brilliant lights erupted from his body, and before her stood two women, dressed provocatively similar to Eve.
'I have two more world fragments now but even with four <World-level Tamer> titles, I still couldn't achieve a higher rank…' he smiled bitterly.
