The Reborn Demon King Girl

Chapter 35: The Name of A

"Ah" is the name.

It originated from the Sword Saint Ah Xion.

Xion is the surname, while "Ah" is the first name.

The young man named A Gedora initially had no surname, just a given name as a commoner. After he became the Hero, tasked to defeat the Demon King, he received guidance from the Sword Saint, who bestowed the name "Ah" upon Gedora, thus making Gedora his surname. Therefore, the Hero is named "A Gedora."

The name "Ah" was acquired after obtaining the recognition of Sword Saint Ah Xion.

It is worth mentioning that the new Hero Frodonick did not receive this name, which, in other words, means he has not received the recognition of Sword Saint Ah Xion. Although, he himself is not considered weak.

Frodonick once felt humiliated by this, which was part of his eagerness to defeat Gedora—a reason that, however, now seemed to be calmly faced by Rose, the Succubus. Originally unable to win, what's there to say? She wasn't supposed to bear the expectations like A Gedora.

Trying to achieve things beyond one's capabilities often is the source of one's pain.

Currently, Rose doesn't have many such thoughts in her mind. She shows a slightly pitiful expression: "Clearly, I'm also a disciple of the teacher, yet when you became weak, she didn't personally take action against you; when I lost to you, she cleaned the house. The teacher is truly biased—Senior~"

Her soft, timid tone really evokes sympathy, and the young girl's pitiful appearance is clearly executing the task assigned by the Demon King, to seduce Doro into falling.

Of course, Doro is impossible to be swayed by such things, having seen the coquettish looks of girls too often. Even if Rose is supposedly a Succubus, a new creation of the Demon King, it wouldn't affect him much.

Yet, it's not like he is exceptionally righteous.

The righteous A Gedora died long ago, and the person before us is also a part of that.

So, he reveals the lecherous look that a man of his age should have, giving Rose's body a once-over: "I must say, Demon King Mohe, if nothing else, his aesthetic level is very high. I have seen many beauties, girls, and women of various races—sleek, rich, noble, and cute... Even among them, you're considered top-notch."

Rose's eyes glimmer: "Oh~ I'm considered top-notch?"

She intentionally twists her body, showcasing her excellent curves: "So, Mr. Doro, would you show more compassion for me?"

Doro chuckles.

With a "smack!", he forcefully slapped the girl's butt.

Amidst the girl's exclamation, Doro steps away from the bed, saying as he walks, "Alright, the reception is over. Looks like our vineyard owner is very happy; next, we need to get to work. Mohe had asked me to help with the winemaking earlier; truly a loyal and diligent servant. It's quite normal for the vineyard owner to exploit his servants."

Rose looks at Doro with a bit of grievance, thinking he really intended to do something to her. She couldn't quite accept such a thing for the moment, although she was a Succubus after all… But until recently, she was still Frodonick.

And some Charlette's right-hand... The Demon King does have a peculiar taste.

While Rose lingered in Doro's little cabin, Doro had already reached Mohe's side.

"Mr. Doro, today's discussions went well. Lisidorwei recorded many experts' opinions, and the vineyard's renovation will start today. Certainly, I will use some magic and Alchemy. I need your help to accomplish the remaining tasks, can you?"

Mohe's mood seems very good.

"Alright, what do we do next?"

"Hmm, let's see. First, I need to create an artificial sun, which isn't easy—I'll wield my Alchemy. Charlette's right hand comes in handy; I originally planned to make it as a gift for you. Now, that can no longer be."

Mohe's tone has a trace of regret: "If you're feeling a bit regretful..."

"I don't feel regretful at all; could her right hand really be used to make an artificial sun?"

"The sun is one embodiment of divine power. Saintess Charlette's right hand can serve as an instrument for communion with the divine, which enables creating an artificial sun that can cover the entire estate." Her discussing Alchemy seems quite professional, "Then there's managing temperature differences; experts say significant temperature changes are key to accumulating grape sweetness, so the temperature shifts between planting regions need to be large enough but mustn't lead to crop loss, which requires meticulous work."

It's hard to believe unless witnessed in person that the Demon King is genuinely striving to learn the cultivation, trying to make her estate flourish. Ideally, her time should be spent on more pressing matters—after all… she was conserving time previously, though she appears leisurely, steadily restoring her strength.

"Cultivating these won't be a problem; I can assist you... What if Charlette attacks?"

"Can't you counter her? From the previous situation, it seems she isn't your match, Mr. Doro."

Mohe appears utterly unperturbed: "Don't you have confidence in defeating her? I reckon Charlette is now busy dealing with Bai Lushi. Although that elder's power isn't very strong, his influence in the church is significant. As one of the chief editors of the Holy Record, Charlette is appointed by that individual and also bears the White name—a delicate mishandling could lead to great turmoil within the church."

She reaches slightly into the void, a strand of greyish-white falling: "Look, this is the current foundation of church faith, from which I can slightly catch the scent of unrest among the congregation. The church hasn't been very stable lately—hiding here, isn't that nice?"

Doro has reasons to believe, sending Rose to the Royal Capital, Mohe had foreseen it, during Nalune's battle, if Charlette's response was not quick and decisive, losing her right hand to Mohe, then... an internal storm within the church might completely erupt, with Charlette blaming Bai Lushi for faults, Bai Lushi criticizing Charlette for losing the right hand... by that point, chaos might genuinely occur.

If successful, what would this Demon King do?

Retrieve both feet?

Today's Demon King is peculiar, at least, seemingly lacking a determined desire to restore power, though everyone knows she aims for it, even if plans fail, she doesn't even get angry…

Could this have all been within her expectations?
