The Dungeon was brought to an end and the mages of Ravens Grave returned to the guild's wing through Aiden's space portals.

It had been a rather action-packed day which left practically everyone exhausted, even Aiden. Everyone retired to their rooms to have a good rest.

The Captain and Piers however, made their way to the Grand Magus's chambers to report the dungeon clearing.

A few hours later, and well into the evening, the Captain in regular robes and in an excited mood yelled from the guild's main room

"Everyone come down! We are boozing tonight!"

She had a grin on her face as yelled those words.

The guild had just achieved their most major success, clearing an S rank dungeon, and a congratulatory letter from the Chambers of Grand Magus had just been sent to Katherine. Congratulating her on achieving the rank of Arch Magister.

So yes, this was one of those nights that called for a celebration!

The members of the guild slowly started leaving their rooms for the main room downstairs, with most of them very much excited.

Aiden seemed to have been resting asleep, longer than the rest of them and by the time he had stood from the bed, there had no one else but him on the top floor.

There was a knock on the door but before Aiden could even answer it, the door opened up and Arianna walked.

"Oh I'm sorry" she immediately apologized, turning her face away, as she had walked into Aiden who was just about to put on a shirt over his perfect and slightly muscular frame.

Her cheeks had gone so red, she could barely hide it.

"It's alright" Aiden said with a smile on his face.

Arianna turned head towards Aiden and said, "uh.. so i came to tell you that the Captain said no one eats or drinks till you come downstairs."

"Oh" Aiden chuckled a bit, and said "i'll be right there"

Arianna nodded and turned to leave, then halted in her steps and walked all the way to Aiden who had a puzzled expression.

"Is there anything else?" Aiden asked

Arianna shook her head, and then looked up towards him and said, "Thank You so much for today Aiden, you're the guild's Knight in shining armor… You're my Knight in shining armor"

Without warning, she extended her head and pecked Aiden softly on the cheeks before pulling away and walking out of the room saying nothing else.

Aiden was dumbfounded and blinked several times in total amazement. He had not seen that one coming not one bit. He raised his hand over the cheek that was kissed, and turned to watch Arianna as she walked away from the room.

Not long after, Aiden stepped downstairs and into main room where everyone had been waiting on him.

The moment he stepped into view, rounds of Applause went off from everyone in the room. Even Kayden clapped, although very much reluctantly.

Aiden looked around the room with a smile on his face, and entirely speechless.

The rounds of applause went on for a while and some people even blew a whistle with their mouth.

The Captain with two cups of booze in both hand stood from her seat and walked towards Aiden. At this point, the clapping had slowly halted.

She moved her right hand forward to pass him the cup of Ale she held on it, then said "Aiden, tonight is dedicated to you. Today, you protected us all, Each and every one of us here owe our lives to you. Thank You, Aiden!."

Then she turned to the rest of the guild and raised her cup, "To Aiden!"

"Everyone raised their cups as well and cheered back, "To Aiden!"

They all drank from their cups and Aiden nodded in acknowledgment and went towards with Laela whose eyes had been beckoning to him.

"Bernardddd!" Katherine yelled out

"Coming right up Captain!" He yelled back while bringing in two large plates of assorted meat, and placing it right on the Captain's table.

Soon after each table got a plate or two filled with huge assorted meat. The chatter began and before you know it, everyone had happy faces as they discussed and laughed over the events of the day.

At some point, Aiden asked laela, "so who did the captain face in the dungeon?"

"Her sister, and by the gods that stone statue was strong" laela said, with her facial expression rightly buttressing her point.

"interesting" aiden said whilst nodding slowly, then asked, "what about you, who did you fight against?"

Laela nearly spit out her ale when he asked, especially as Arianna was just sittinf across from them and listening to their conversation.

However she swallowed her drink, then moved closer and whispered Arianna's name into Aiden's ears.

On hearing that, Aiden forcefully swallowed the liquid in his mouth and turned his face away to the other side.

Laela too quickly focused on her food, and made sure she didn't have eye contact with Arianna.

Arianna squinted her eyes slightly at the both of them when she noticed they were both acting weird, but she reacted no further than that.

In between the eating and the talking, one person then yelled out, "Captain we need to turn it up a notch!"

"Yes Captain, this booze needs to hit" another backed him up.

Katherine laughed a bit and said, "You Bloody Wankers!" Then she turned towards Elena who sat across from her with a knowing grin on her face.

Elena understood that look any day any time especially when it came to a party. She shook her head and then used the King level spell promotion on every ale within the guild room.

This automatically increased the intoxication effect of the booze by ten fold and somehow that was when the merriment even hit its highs within the guild.

Aiden then spoke to the system using his thoughts, "Oi system, deactivate Status reset for the maximum three hours"

[It is understood, status reset will not reset any intoxication effect for the maximum three hours]

[Know that should Malice Perception pick up any devious intent, Status reset will automatically be activated once more]

Aiden rolled his eyes, he knew the system would say this.

He then noticed that Laela was about to forcefully take in one big chug and then gently stopped her and said, "hey hey, slowly pretty elf"

She went red on her cheeks and simply nodded.

Arianna watching from across the table couldn't help but feel jealous, she wanted what they had and she wanted it badly.

Feeling frustrated, she chugged down a full cup of ale in one single go. Laela and Arianna glanced at each other surprisingly but said nothing more.

The merriment had gone on for a while and slowly, people started passing out on their tables and acting really funny under the influence of alcohol.

"Hey, do you want to get out of here?" laela asked, and on her face you could see she looked a bit too desperate.

She was evidently tipsy, practically everyone else was.

Aiden didn't think too much of it but he didn't mind getting out of that either. His eyes looked slightly drowsy and he had this smile on his face.

They both left the guild's room and went towards the lovers oak. It was always their go-to whenever they wanted to get space away from the guild.

The very moment they both got under the Lovers Oak, without warning Laela suddenly pulled towards Aiden and kissed him deeply.

Aiden pulled back for a second, right after that kiss and looked her in the eyes, then forcefully pulled her back towards him and kissed her back affectionately.

Next thing, he grabbed her by the bum and lifted her up, then held her ass more tightly so that she wouldn't fall from his body.

Laela crossed her leg over to back and then they kissed each other again for a long moment until she stopped for a second.

"we are sort of right in the open" Laela whispered softly as she stared into his eyes.

"I know a really nice inn in the city" Aiden said, staring right back.

They were speaking each other's languague and it may have been the Alchohol, but right now, they both wanted to do it, their bodies rage for it.

Laela simply nodded in agreement and without warning Aiden teleported away from there using transport magic.

In an instant, they both walked right into an inn that had a moderate amount of persons within it. Aiden had known of this inn's location in the uppercity on the day he went around the city completing everyone's guild requests.

Aiden walked towards the innkeeper hastily while holding laela by the other hand. Then he asked, "are your rooms empty?"

"For now" The Innkeeper said, expecting that some of the men who were currently dining in his inn might want to stay in for the night.

"Good. All your rooms have been paid for" then he placed about 50 gold coins on his table which made the innkeeper's widen his eyes. That was several times more than was required by pay out the rooms for an entire week.

Aiden also went about it this ways cause he wanted some privacy, and didn't need the next door knowing his business.

He then took Laela along with him and soon after they got into a room.
