Running A Cemetery in North America

Chapter 144: Disassembler 2

Every time a new machine appears, it brings him a brand-new experience. He believes this time will be no exception.

"Alright, since we know most of what's going on, everyone should go to sleep now and rest up. Tonight's troubles have been resolved, and we can think about future matters after we've slept."

Sun Yan stood up and said, "Yidan, what is your ability?"

"Controlling a flock of crows, sir."

Crow Yidan proudly puffed out his chest, "The Speaker said I have the blood of the Three-Eyed Divine Crow in me, which is Odin's attendant!"

"In that case... return to the Speaker's side and continue being his secretary. Provide me with intelligence. If he asks how I chose, tell him you couldn't find me and to send someone else next time to look for me."

Sun Yan took Crow Yidan outside and set it free, signaling for it to leave quickly.

"Sir, you've missed this chance to join the Evil God Council. Next time someone from the council comes looking for you, the situation won't be the same. They won't invite you a second time; they'll see you as an adversary of the council, and then you'll be extremely dangerous."

Crow Yidan said worriedly, "Why don't you come with me and join the Evil God Council? At least it would ensure your safety without risking your life."

"No worries, I have my ways. Just focus on being a secretary and find ways to get me information," Sun Yan waved goodbye to Crow Yidan.

The contracted crow had no choice but to leave with its flock. This time it came to the graveyard as a messenger of the Evil God Council to extend an invitation to Sun Yan.

Once the news of Sun Yan's rejection reaches back, the Speaker will probably immediately decide on his extermination, and Sun Yan's fate will almost certainly be destruction.

After all, the Evil God Council is an unimaginably massive force.

After sending away Crow Yidan, Sun Yan headed to the workshop.

Sure enough, there was a brand-new machine in the underground workshop, looking like an enlarged toaster with two threaded iron columns on top.

The two columns were about three centimeters apart. If something were caught in between, it would be ground to pieces instantly and fall into the machine's interior.

"Is this the disassembler? I must test its effect,"

Sun Yan took out the Demon Exorcism Shotgun he had prepared in advance. Ever since Sosia used it as a combat weapon,

it had been through countless battles, and the bullets given by Geralt had long run out.

Sun Yan didn't purchase any new bullets, so the shotgun had been a display for quite some time.

Now it was perfect to test the function of this disassembler.

Placing the Demon Exorcism Shotgun on the disassembler, the machine immediately went to work.

The two iron columns slowly rotated, grinding the Demon Exorcism Shotgun to pieces which fell into the machine's interior, beginning a special operation invisible to Sun Yan.

Not long after, a brand new and still warm blueprint dropped out from the bottom exit of the disassembler. Sun Yan quickly picked it up.

Demon Exorcism 3 Series Shotgun Blueprint (Materials needed: steel 10kg + brass 5kg + silver 1kg + wood)

"It really is as I thought. The function of this disassembler is vast, turning an item into a blueprint. This way, I could mass-produce these shotguns, completely taking the business from the Demon Exorcism Armament Factory," Sun Yan said happily, but the next second, he froze because he realized he didn't have the blueprint for exorcism bullets.

So no matter how many Demon Exorcism Shotguns are made, they can't be used without bullets and will still remain as decorations.

"I need to buy some exorcism bullets to disassemble," Sun Yan thought to himself, holding the blueprint.

Although in the graveyard, he wasn't afraid of the Evil God Council. Regarding dealing with the Evil God's power, Sun Yan was very confident.

But in reality, the Evil God Council also had significant influence, with societal elites connected to them. If they targeted him through these aspects,

Sun Yan would face a tough challenge because he had friends and family.

And living on American soil, it's incredibly easy for the wealthy to harm an ordinary person.

Sun Yan must find a way to solve this potential problem.

...

Early in the morning, Sun Yan sleepily walked out of the main house, as usual heading to the graveyard gate to check if there was any mail from the Corpse Collector in the mailbox.

Opening the envelope, he found two old letters folded inside.

As Sun Yan reached to take the letters from the mailbox, a white security guard slowly approached from a distance.

He curiously peered around the graveyard, then focused his gaze on the Ford pickup truck parked inside.

To be exact, he was checking Sun Yan's license plate.

"Who are you?"

Seeing such a strange visitor early in the morning, Sun Yan couldn't help but frown and ask warily.

Last night, members of the Evil God Council had just come to the graveyard, and now a stranger was here... it was hard not to suspect they were sent by the council to trouble him.

"Excuse me, did you previously eliminate an evil spirit in the abandoned factory on Belington Street No. 3 in Buren City?"

The white old man asked politely.

"Abandoned factory..." Sun Yan was taken aback but quickly remembered.

The man was likely speaking about the time Sun Yan went to the abandoned factory to retrieve a special corpse during a mission.

It was then that Sun Yan unexpectedly met Sosia, the werewolf, and after her death, buried her in the graveyard, transforming her into a Cemetery Member.

But how did this old man know about it?

"You don't need to be nervous. I mean no harm. I'm the Priest from Belington Church in Buren City. You can call me Smith,"

The white old man took a silver cross necklace from his neck and showed it to Sun Yan, "Years ago, the Morolick Clan resided in the city I protect. They abducted ordinary citizens at night, turning them into bloodlines providing blood. Not only that, but they also attempted sacrifices to gain power from an Evil God,

But fortunately, the Morolick Clan failed. Due to the price paid from the sacrificial ritual, they had to flee hastily, but before leaving, they left behind a cursed clan member's corpse in the city.

The corpse was very dangerous, and I lacked the ability to destroy it, so I sealed it in a room in the factory and kept watch near the abandoned factory to prevent the return of the Morolick Clan's Blood Race.

Until one day, I found out someone had destroyed that corpse, and since then, I've been searching in the dark for the owner of that vehicle, which I suppose must be you?"

Sun Yan remained puzzled, not expecting someone to come after so much time had passed because of this matter.

Did this person come solely to express thanks? Can't be that kind.

"What do you want?" Sun Yan asked.

"I need your help to eliminate the Morolick Clan," Smith said seriously.

"Eliminate... you mean you know where the Morolick Clan is?"

Sun Yan was immediately surprised. The topic of the Morolick Clan had been hammered into his ears repeatedly.

Back when Sosia came to Saint Anna City, she was looking for the Blood Race of the Morolick Clan.

Elise was also a member of the Morolick Clan, so Sun Yan and the clan were quite intertwined.

And now, someone wanted him to eliminate the Morolick Clan. This commission was indeed intriguing.

"Yes, since the disappearance of the Morolick Clan from the city I protect, I've been investigating their hiding place in secret, and a few months ago, I finally found a lead. It's a declining town not even on maps,

now completely occupied by the Morolick Clan. So I need to find a powerful Exorcist to help utterly destroy those damn Blood Race members. Sir, could you take on my commission?"

Considering Smith's request, Sun Yan pondered, "Come in and sit, we'll discuss in detail inside. I need enough intelligence to decide if I should accept your commission."
