Marvelous Mecha

Chapter 380: The First Stop of Star Sea Journey_1

"We are currently inside the shuttle. Now, the Death Planet is unlivable." Feng Yi shrugged and briefly recounted what had happened.

The Blade Warrior was quite surprised when she heard about the cooperation with Bruce. My goodness, the devil Bruce was not killed! Upon finding out that Death Planet was no longer accessible, she plopped down on the ground with a look of dissatisfaction and began to tantrum, "It's all over, it's all your fault. I've been undercover on Death Planet for 50 years without any accidents, and now look what's happened. I don't care, you have to compensate me with the space crystal."

This girl seemed determined not to get up if she wasn't compensated with the space crystal. Feng Yi broke out in a cold sweat... He truly felt guilty for the Blade Warrior because after all, he owed her his life, "Cough, how do you want me to compensate?"

"Whimper... To think I was blessed with natural beauty, yet I have such a terrible luck. I finally found clues to the Space Crystal, but look at my current state."

"What exactly does this 'Space Crystal' refer to?"

Huh? She had accidentally let it slip. The Blade Warrior quickly covered her mouth, "Hmph, I'm not telling you."

Since she declined to tell him, Feng Yi decided not to press on, "What are your plans for moving forward?"

"Moving forward...?"

"Yes, like returning home or continuing your search for the Space Crystal."

The Blade Warrior had never considered the concept of home. Upon hearing Feng Yi's words, she appeared stunned, her innocent eyes filled with confusion. She had been independent for nearly a hundred years, the first fifty of which were spent acquiring knowledge. The next fifty were spent on Death Planet, where she stayed for half her lifetime.

Thinking about the injustices of her fate, she burst into tears, shouting about not knowing what to do while demanding compensation in the form of Space Crystal.

Feng Yi had had enough, "Do you have a nationality?"

"Sure I do, the Federation," the Blade Warrior answered concisely, saying that when she first became sentient, humans had not yet entered the Great Age of Exploration and she was born in the Federation. Later, circumstances drastically changed with humans entering the Great Age of Exploration, and she didn't feel particularly attached to the Federation.

Although Feng Yi couldn't completely understand how she had lived so many years, things were easier now as long as she had goals. He declared that even though he couldn't help her find the Space Crystal, he could provide ample logistical support. After all, he was the leader of the Bounty Tribe and had plenty of funds. It shouldn't be difficult for Francis to purchase some cutting-edge equipment.

The Blade Warrior's beautiful eyes twinkled, "Did you establish the Bounty Tribe?"

Feng Yi nodded with a puzzled look at her twinkling eyes, "Yes, is there a problem?"

"Mehahaha... That's great!" The Blade Warrior immediately cast her previous unhappiness aside and flirted with him, shocking Feng Yi, "Considering our relationship, it wouldn't be outrageous for you to give me a 10% stake in it, right?"

"10% stake?"

"No, no, no, 5% is perfectly fine." The Blade Warrior quickly waved her hands for fear that Feng Yi would change his mind.

"Ahem, actually..."

"Oh, don't be so stingy. I mean, since you've had a look, a special payment would only be fair." The Blade Warrior suddenly revealed her body, covered only by a blanket. But it was only for 0.1 seconds, "See? It wasn't bad, was it? We can consider this a deal."

Feng Yi was flabbergasted, "I didn't even get a good look!" Still, he shrugged indifferently. A huge, unexplainable exclamation point seemed to materialize in thin air above him!

"I don't care, you've already seen everything. As a gentleman, you should assume the responsibility. Consider the 5% stake as compensation."

Feng Yi couldn't help but doubt how much she knew. She even knew about the Bounty Tribe. Well, he didn't want to think about that. As soon as they left the star zone, he sent a Heavenly Communication to Francis, instructing him to grant her a 5% stake to be freely used as she wished. And, of course, he'd invite Francis for a drink once they returned to the Federation.

Regarding the biological Mecha, the Blade Warrior said she couldn't be much help. After all, she didn't have much expertise in the biological aspects of Mechas. However, she did give Feng Yi some valuable suggestions, such as going to the Aurora Planet or even the Devil Star Galaxy. There were many master Mecha designers in those areas who might be able to modify the biological Mecha.

Time flew quickly, and half a month was soon over. Their first stop was the Bull Planet in the Devil Star Galaxy, the nearest star zone to Death Planet and the best choice for having a panoramic view of the vast space...

The Bull Planet was in a free star zone. As a neutral territory, it was far from the turmoil of war, making it a peaceful and serene destination. Despite the planet's hopeful atmosphere, the people living there hadn't truly conquered it. The space fit for human habitation was not very vast and consisted of only nine major cities.

The reasons were twofold: first, large wild beasts roamed the area making it unsafe to travel; and second, a lack of Mechas meant that only holders of Mecha certifications could rent one.

Therefore, many of the people who lived here had been trained from childhood to go on adventure expeditions in teams. This could also be regarded as hunting, albeit nobody under 16 was allowed to go out. The creatures on Bull Planet were extraordinarily large and fierce, and it often took several Mechas working together to take one down. The hunters' Mechas were usually old, improvised ones or mobile suits that were so ancient they were nearly falling apart. That's why there was a rumor that Bull Planet housed many master Mecha designers, which was why Feng Yi chose it as their first stop.

As it was getting dark, Feng Yi savored the gentle evening breeze. Upon leaving the spaceport, he immediately headed for Yatu Town.

Looking at the towering 30-meter-high city wall, he couldn't help but wonder how big the creatures here must be. On top of the wall, guards armed with weapons were dozing off. Outside the city gates, the streets were filled with returning hunters grinning from ear to ear. The continuous honking of horns was a signal for the wall guards to wake up and get to work.

Most hunters either walked with rifles or drove off-road vehicles. Some rode battle motorcycles or armed jeeps filled with their spoils of hunting. In the distance, a Mecha dragging a pile of animal corpses was slowly approaching. The envious looks from pedestrians made it clear how much they admired the Mecha. My God! That four-legged beast will sell for a handsome price.

Can he really find a Mecha master here? With these thoughts, Feng Yi strolled deeper into the town... The Blade Warrior was like a curious baby, looking left and right. Whether she recognized something or not, if she liked it, she'd ask Feng Yi to buy it...

Meanwhile, a small unidentified fleet had already begun searching near Death Planet, including the Devil Star Galaxy.
