"Whether it's a secret or not, I don't care," Feng Yi shakes his head, "You should go."
"Do you think that's possible in my current state? If you have any doubts, just kill me now. Then go kill those two." Bruce's shocking words and the incomprehensible insanity in his eyes suggested he would rather drag the Sword Dragon duo down with him than let the bastards who sentenced him to death escape.
"I'm not interested in your proposal. Here, take this." Feng Yi casually tosses Bruce a health pill. The potion, while not exactly expensive, can quickly restore physical functions. "Given your abilities, escaping this damn planet should be no problem."
"That's woman's thinking. If those two send the message to the Empire, we're all probably done for. You're too naive!" Bruce gulps down the health pill and slowly rises from his seat, his voice dripping with disdain. His condition was too dire to even consider facing those two, and he needed to leave the Death Planet as soon as possible. Glaring at Feng Yi, he laughs coldly, "I hope you don't regret your choice today." There was no other choice but to temporarily abandon his Light Crystal plan.
Hmm, no one can stop his ambition to conquer the world, not now. Having traveled across the galaxy for many years, Bruce had long discovered the secret of the Light Crystal during a fortunate encounter. Possession of the Light Crystal could potentially trigger a time inversion. The so-called Special Relativity Theory is restricted by the three-dimensional space. If the spatial dimension were to increase to four, perhaps controlling time would suddenly be possible.
Indeed, it was an ambitious idea born out of Bruce's inadvertent tumble into the four-dimensional space during his many years of space travel. Initially, he never considered such a brain-burning problem. However, if eternal life were possible, he would definitely attempt at any cost.
After all, the principles of light transmission and Time Crystal are essentially the same. It's well known that the space humans live in is flawed, whether it's your skin, blood, surrounding air, or anything at all. Everything is never in a completely perfect state. Even when it appears to be, it could be flawed in microscopic detail.
Microscopic wormholes could be found everywhere in our vicinity. They are so tiny that even a microscopic lens fails to capture them. However, light transmission technology could tap into these tiny wormholes, causing them to expand 30,000,000 to 50,000,000,000 times within a short span, depending on the amount of energy.
The concept of time is no different, except that time can't be reversed. Clearly, reversing time contradicts the laws of physics.
Unfortunately, current technology can't take us to parallel universes. But, in the early 20th century, humans already proved the existence of parallel universes. Many odd scenes that haven't happened in this world yet are accidentally depicted, manifesting detailed answers. Because of Earth's strong magnetic field, we can't see parallel worlds, let alone harmful ultraviolet radiation.
The possession of the Light Crystal could change things drastically though. With it, one could not simply leave the four dimensions but also possibly change anomalies. Even traveling to parallel universes could become a possibility. Coincidentally, while the Blade Warrior was searching for the Light Crystal, the Pirate King was also collecting them, albeit for some reasons.
Just as Bruce was leaving the place, Feng Yi was already moving swiftly into the depths of the research base. He accurately located the storeroom for the bio-mecha using the electronic map.
Normally, he'd have taken his time to admire the bio-mecha, but now, even a single moment's delay could cost him his life. The bio-mecha, he decided, couldn't fall into the hands of the Empire. Swiftly, he collected it, along with some other potentially useful stuff, into his Space Crystal and quickly made his escape—fast as a speeding bullet.
Although he wasn't sure, if the Empire got wind that Sword Dragon and the woman's mission had failed, they would assuredly launch a secret search and place every jump point in the surrounding star fields under high security.
He might not care what happened to the Pirate King but he couldn't allow a Blade Warrior to be left alone on the Death Planet. Otherwise when the Imperial people arrived, that would be the end for the 'little sister' once and for all. Feng Yi was sprinting for his life across the deserted landscape; temperature clocked at 90 degrees below zero. All along the way, he offloaded any weighty items he was carrying.
Feng Yi arrived in record time at the Blade Warrior's secret camp, dumping everything, including the bio-mecha, into the Space Crystal without a moment's hesitation.
Blade Warrior, sound asleep, woke up slightly at Feng Yi's arrival, only to fall back asleep when she realized who it was. Her wide-open, round body wasn't shy...
Her near-perfect shape was incomparable to even Amelia's. Her face, in its innocent sleep, was so endearing. Feng Yi's heart skipped a beat at the sight! He was hesitant for a moment, lost in unexpected feelings.
Wait! He shook his head and gave himself a pep talk - how on earth could he be distracted by these women. Hitching up the sleeping Blade Warrior, he rushed towards his ship, ready for a quick getaway.
Blade Warrior, half asleep and disoriented, gave a loud forced cry, her limbs flailing about. "Help! There's a ghost! I'm going to die!"
Feng Yi held her closer, and gave her head a small knock to shake her out of her sleep. "Wake up, kid. The cold wind will cool your drowsy head."
"Wow! It's freezing!" Blade Warrior's artificial skin couldn't withstand the cold and she instinctively clung onto Feng Yi.
Feng Yi, without missing a beat, rushed inside the Flaming Fury.
Feeling the sudden rise in temperature, Blade Warrior opened her sleepy eyes and looked around. She giggled at the thought of Feng Yi holding her in his arms and gave him a sly smile, "Well...are you interested in my body?" Her gaze quickly moved up and down Feng Yi's body and then she realized to her horror that she was practically naked.
"Wait, where are we?"
Feng Yi didn't even have the strength to cry out...
