The excavation work had been abruptly halted while it was just warming up, leaving a sense of uncertainty. Feng Yi looked up and noticed that it was already late. Perhaps it would be a good idea to rest early and reevaluate the situation the next day. After all, life goes on, excavation works would continue. If he lost his shovel, he could find something else to replace it. Carrying this thought, Feng Yi, feeling somewhat overburdened, headed towards his insulated tent...
He had set the insulated tent about ten meters underground. This depth provided effective defense against day-night temperature changes. It took him half a day to build the tent, which was about 20 square meters and contained all sorts of garbage. He had picked out some things from the rubbish heap that were too good to throw away but too bland to eat or use.
Among this garbage, something called a 'Super Energy Crystal was of great interest to Feng Yi. It was an early experimental semi-finished product sealed in a box, about the size of a water bucket and incredibly heavy. This was the only piece of garbage he had found while excavating that had a label.
Perhaps it was discarded for some reason that its owner couldn't avoid. Everything inside the sealed box was brand new, complete with detailed engineering parameters.
Dragging his exhausted body, Feng Yi turned on the energy-saving lamp to prepare his dinner as soon as he returned to the tent. Normally, he didn't have the time to sort out these things. But since he was feeling down and had returned early, he decided to eat and drink while going through his potentially valuable finds on his computer.
As Feng Yi inserted the data chip into the computer, the detailed engineering parameters caught his attention immediately...
This thing used an old type of energy storage product. It indeed had limited energy storage capacity and occupied a large space. However, all these seemed nothing more than a smokescreen to Feng Yi. His expertise in mecha was as good as anyone's, so he could see what was special about it. Its innards were not as simple as they appeared from the outside.
According to the explanations accompanied by the detailed parameter set, the creator was definitely an inventor. He had ingeniously integrated the energy conversion system into a space crystal using four-dimensional space techniques. It could also be said to be a product of four-dimensional space. Such a technique was unheard of and unseen.
If there was anything different about this energy storage technology when compared with regular storage crystals, it was its spatial capacity. The intricacy of this energy storage crystal's structure was amazing. It had perfectly used a luminous crystal as the medium to connect with the four-dimensional space crystal. It was widely known that a luminous crystal was the only static matter amongst all known materials. It could not interact with space crystals. It was the presence of a luminous crystal that led to the creation of space crystals.
This super energy crystal was created using the technique of a luminous crystal. To put it differently, possessing this energy crystal was akin to having an unlimited energy supply for the mecha.
By this point, Feng Yi had completely stopped eating and drinking. He focused all his attention on the constantly changing detailed parameters. The more he saw, the more astonished and excited he became. By the end, his heartbeat quickened...
A bold idea suddenly sprung up in his mind. What would happen if antimatter technology was embedded inside this super energy storage crystal, and a luminous crystal was used as the medium for energy conversion? Could it enable a mobile suit to perform curvature flight, or use protons for space teleportation directly? With this thing, roaming the galaxy in a mobile suit might just be possible.
Of course, even if this idea could be realized, there would be many issues. After all, a mobile suit could not have gravity cancellation functions like a spaceship. However, with Feng Yi's physique, he could completely launch himself out of the atmosphere on his own.
Unfortunately, this super energy crystal was only a semi-finished product now. It lacked a main material, the luminous crystal. More scarce than space crystals and extremely difficult to mine, these luminous crystals were incredibly rare. Even with his current financial resources, Feng Yi couldn't tell where he would be able to find these priceless gems.
Feng Yi was in unusually high spirits. He thought that he had accessed a VIP channel. If it weren't for the Clapping Tiger damaging his excavator, he would not have taken time off to go through the engineering parameters. He would have planned his work for the next day by now, and he might have even discarded the super storage equipment. It was only due to the shots fired by the Clapping Tiger that Feng Yi had his current equipment. Hence, he decided to treat the Clapping Tiger well.
Therefore, the next day, when the day was just breaking, Feng Yi jumped out of bed and went outside. The temperature on the Death Planet was unusually pleasing, although it only lasted for a short two hours. He decided to use these two hours to complete his work, which was to completely dismantle the Clapping Tiger's turret.
Feng Yi was a highly skilled mechanic, considering transforming this self-propelled artillery into a tank. The reason was that the Clapping Tiger's open turret design was not suitable for excavation work on the Death Planet. It couldn't protect against heat or cold, but the turret did have 360-degree rotation functionality. It was an indispensable partner for excavation work, protection from wind and rain, and defending against sudden emergencies.
Reality proved to be more straightforward than anticipated. As an expert mechanic, Feng Yi knew what he was doing. With the efficient work of the mechanical arm, it took him less than 50 minutes to completely dismantle the Clapping Tiger's turret.
Wiping off the greasy sweat, he then started searching for a turret. There were no shovels here, but there were plenty of discarded tank turrets. Feng Yi had already set his target in mind. The nearby area had no tanks, but 30 kilometers away, there was a scrap armor area full of war machine carcasses.
Shww, shww, shww... After several leaps, he disappeared to the horizon and in no time he reached the designated area.
As he was walking through the post-apocalyptic-looking wasteland of wreckage, his mood couldn't be any better. The radiation concentration in this area was high, so Feng Yi had already covered himself from head to toe with a Storm Stance. However, a flash of brilliance suddenly shot out from somewhere in front of him.
The luminous streak came too quickly. So quickly in fact that even Feng Yi didn't have time to respond, much less determine from which direction it had been launched. What he could be sure of, though, was that it was not a bullet and not a beam of light weapon. It seemed to be a sharp metal object.
Feng Yi swiftly dodged, stumbling back and nearly falling over. What the hell had attacked him? Looking back, he was surprised to find that the target of the attack was not him, but an out-of-control Desert Wolf Bionic Mecha.
A voice suddenly rang out in his ear: "A stranger, huh? Whoever you are, don't disturb my sleep."
"What!?" Feng Yi was taken aback. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. There were actually people on the Death Planet? This was neither science nor magic.
"Who are you?" As soon as Feng Yi finished speaking, a black light suddenly fell upon the wreckage. He took a closer look and was shocked again! The figure was not human; it was a black panther, coated in a black hue.
"Blade Warrior."
