Marvelous Mecha

Chapter 300 Emily's Message_1

Having witnessed this battle, Feng Yi had deep emotions. Sky Shadow was indeed very strong, and so was his opponent. The most amazing part was the surprising yet strategic self-destruction at the end. Jabbar perfectly timed the explosion's release, using all of his strength to restrain the beast to force it into close combat. He didn't mind getting severely injured just for a close draw, and that was just brilliant. This man was ruthless, not only to himself but to his enemies, making him incredibly formidable.

Sky Shadow's performance was not bad either. Even for Feng Yi, it wouldn't be easy to make such a decisive choice. If his opponent did not trigger the self-destruction, a hand-to-hand combat with Sky Shadow would have been inevitable.

The first battle at the peak was extremely thrilling. Numerous audiences were eager for the clash between the Revenge Shadow Rider and his rivals.

The line-up for the second battle was ready: Cangmu Kuang Qi versus Dovir, both from the Federal Union. This battle would be an interesting face-off between the young heirs of two ancient families.

Their only aim was to become elite pilots. Whether the single-combat specialist, Cangmu Kuang Qi, would prevail or if Dovir had a trick up his sleeve - this question hovered around everyone's mind constantly. Dovir, with his astonishing talent and progressively improved Phantom Double Sword Strike technique after receiving advice from Revenge Shadow Rider, was definitely a person of potential. However, it was undeniable that Dovir, despite his young age, held more value than Cangmu Kuang Qi.

As for watching this battle between these two, Feng Yi did not intend to continue. He often learned from others and incorporated their strengths, but selectively so. He had evaluated Cangmu Kuang Qi's capabilities during the military confrontation and had fought against Dovir himself, implying there was nothing new to learn from both of them. Time was better spent doing something meaningful, like walking down the streets admiring the beauty of women, or having a cup of tea in an old town reflecting on life.

However, before Feng Yi could log off, he was pulled into Fat Tiger's team. In addition to the team leader Feng Yi, there were Sheng Qiangwei, the Rose Guild's President, Emily, the Vice President, Zhang Xiaobo, and Elvis.

Feng Yi asked for the reason behind this sudden assembling. Apparently, countless people had challenged the guild, and Sheng Qiangwei, feeling adventurous, had decided to participate in a free PK in the wilderness.

Feng Yi was speechless. He didn't mind doing anything else, but a PK with ordinary players was of no interest. With that time, he would prefer to sleep a little more. But under Sheng Qiangwei's pitiful gaze, he couldn't bear to decline. Feng Yi had always had a go-with-the-flow nature. After all, they held a nominal boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.

To take his leave sooner, Feng Yi casually handed Athena's autograph to Fat Tiger to handle the aftermath. He planned to get out of there as soon as possible.

However, seeing Athena's autograph, Fat Tiger was stunned. Astonished, he asked about the signed autograph, certain that this must be a joke.

Feng Yi quickly explained without disclosing too many details. Whether or not others believed him, Feng Yi felt no need to hide anything.

In reality, Feng Yi's character was indeed guaranteed. As the pair spoke, those surrounding them overheard the conversation. Feng Yi's voice had a piercing quality making it audible to all. As soon as the conversation ended, his cheap backpack was plundered by Fat Tiger and his followers, led by Sheng Qiangwei.

The most valuable autographs were confiscated in seconds. Poor Feng Yi held the now empty backpack, the loss etched on his face. He had originally planned to sell these precious autographs for good money but, lost them in a robbery.

Fat Tiger and Elvis were ecstatic, but on the surface, they acted elderly and wise. Patting Feng Yi, they solemnly consoled him with 'such is life, some things are better let go…'

No one was happier than Sheng Qiangwei. She gave Feng Yi a comforting peck on his cheek, blushed, and suddenly ran off. This was just too much - a PK team assembly dispersed before it even started. It was clear that leading a team was not an easy task.

Sheng Qiangwei always had a strong charisma but, when around Feng Yi, she would instantly transform into a little girl. She mischievously teased him in public and then ran away. Emily stood at her position for quite some time without uttering a word. She was a bit lost, thinking about the unusual eye contact between the two. Could it be…

Suddenly, she had an enlightening moment as if hit by a thunderbolt. She was stunned, thinking whether Feng Yi and Sheng Qiangwei were in 'that' kind of relationship… Given Feng Yi's charismatic personality, she felt she should have observed this earlier. At this moment, Emily had a sudden feeling of danger!

First Sheng Qiangwei, now, also Athena.

She opened her mouth, a bitter taste in her mouth. Her normally bright eyes were filled with helplessness and despair. Her face was full of sorrow, almost like she was lamenting how Feng Yi could date other girls without letting her know.

On the other hand, nothing substantial had happened between Feng Yi and Emily. Their first kiss was accidental. Emily used it as a threat to retain Feng Yi on the battlefield.

As for their past, Feng Yi didn't owe anything to Amelia. Initially, she abruptly left their agreement, and now, both of them were friends. Or perhaps, something more special than friends but not quite lovers, nor confidants. She couldn't think of a perfect word to describe their relationship.

During their early years, they were fond of each other. In the martial arts hall, they were master and apprentice. During the military confrontation, their relationship remained ambiguous. Or perhaps, they were just comrades fighting side by side on the battlefield. However, even after thorough introspection, Emily couldn't find any reason to confront Feng Yi.

She lightly bit her soft lip as tears welled up in her eyes. She abruptly turned around and took a deep breath before sending a message to Sheng Qiangwei. She mentioned having some matters to attend to and that she wouldn't be online for some time - or perhaps, never return.

On receiving the message, Sheng Qiangwei was left dumbfounded. What was the matter? That wasn't like a joke. Was she too excited about Athena's autograph? On second thought, Emily did not show any emotional changes after receiving the autograph. It didn't seem like she was too bothered by Athena. If anything, the attention was more on the team than robbing Feng Yi.
