Chapter 1441: War Between Two Races

Gazing into the vast land, Elysis slowly withdrew her gaze. The events far exceeded the plan itself; not only did bizarre things occur on this planet, but even that Sky Shadow's strength was exceptionally powerful. She needed to contact the support troop to retreat as soon as possible.

Thinking of this, Elysis flapped her wings and flew into the sky...

The dark clouds had yet to dissipate. In the distant sky, two indistinct figures gradually came into view, making Elysis more vigilant.

At this moment, both sides obviously noticed each other. As their distance continued to shorten, Elysis suddenly opened her beautiful eyes wide, her body froze in place, trembling incessantly...

She was like a child in a horror story, her helpless expression more profound and direct than the sight of anything bizarre.

They were... two Cantelu Warriors, reportedly the strongest half-beast warriors in the Galaxy.

"Oh my god, how is this possible!"

Elysis blurted out in shock, softly speaking though her voice was very faint; the trembling timbre revealed her overwhelming inner shock.

Watching the two approach ever closer, Elysis couldn't muster any courage to resist, forgetting even to flee. If the opponents were Cantelu elite warriors, she could at most maneuver with one, but couldn't handle both simultaneously. Even more despairing was that the fear of Cantelu had imprinted itself on the Titan Elf's genes, a suppression born from lineage.

The Cantelu half-beast warriors were equally astonished by what they saw. They had entered this star cluster less than two days ago to investigate due to detecting (Feng Luo's crossing) a huge energy reaction.

To date, the Cantelu had discovered much. They found that not only is this region the cosmic habitable zone absent of any small Black Holes, and without extreme high-temperature environments that create nebulae, even nearby stars operate smoothly, suitable for habitation. Unbeknownst to them, aside from human civilization, the Titan Elf clan was present too.

If the Cantelu are still in the observation period regarding humans, then with regard to the Titan Elves, it was a period akin to a tracking and enslaving phase. They had tracked the Titan Elves for sixty thousand years, preserving even the ancient language perfectly.

A tall warrior flew to Elysis's side, questioning in the elven language, "You are the Elf Queen."

"No, I am not..." Elysis shook her head in panic...

"Since you aren't, why can you understand the Titan Elf language then, hehehe... come with us, noble Queen."

Elysis was stunned by fear. Upon hearing this, she suddenly realized how foolish her answer had been. She decided to launch a counterattack!

——

At this moment, Feng Yi's training finally drew to a close. Next, he would enter the final phase; it seemed there was no state more adaptable to combat than his current form, fully comprehensive and balanced.

With a gentle exhale, he opened his eyes, and his suspended body landed once more. Through continuous practice, Feng Yi could now directly enter the phase of potential eruption without exceeding power. The next step was to solidify this state.

Yet... there's something somewhat concerning.

"It seems your training has ended, huh."

"Yes. By the way, Mo Ying, you mentioned Cantelu Warriors previously, saying they are nearing the human star region?"

"Indeed, what do you want to know?"

Feng Yi contemplated, then said, "You have remained in three-dimensional space for billions of years. You should have a direct understanding of Cantelu civilization's development. I want to clarify one thing: does their appearance affect humanity? And is this an unintended trespass onto forbidden territory?"

"I can't discern if it's unintended trespass. I've lost all links with the three-dimensional realm—though I suspect human impact isn't enough for the Cantelu to observe. Perhaps the interest arose due to the massive energy reaction in the southern Bermuda recently."

Feng Yi furrowed his brows, confused, "So, the (Feng Luo's crossing parallel dimension) enormous spatial energy reaction caught their attention."

"I assume so—regarding the future impact you just mentioned, it's inevitable. Unlike Titan Elves, Cantelu are inherently belligerent, ferocious, and possess intense strength. It was precisely their existence that led to the premature decline of Titan Elves."

Stunned, Feng Yi hadn't anticipated the relationship between Titan Elves and Cantelu, "Can you elaborate?"

"Certainly." Mo Ying half-reminisced, "The Titan Elf clan boasts a history of three hundred thousand years. They were an ambitious civilization yet lacked flight capability initially. Conversely, the Titan Elves were exceedingly strong, each courageous and battle-ready.

Seventy thousand years ago, a conflict erupted between the Titan Elves and Cantelu. In the initial war phase, the Titan Elves held absolute advantage, but swiftly reversed with the Devouring Beast's arrival."

"Sounds formidable." Feng Yi asked skeptically, "What is the Devouring Beast?"

"That's another tale. They have the ability to devour pure Titan bloodline power, essentially a mutated being derived from the Titan Elf clan. While these entities are rare, they are inherently strong, fearless of fungal viruses, naturally the nemesis of Titan Elves."

"So that's how it is." Feng Yi pondered.

"Precisely," Mo Ying said. "Due to this entity's emergence in the many-year war, the male Titans significantly dwindled, nearly becoming extinct, accelerating the Titan Elves' decline.

Through a thousand-year span, after the last Titan vanished, the elves decided to leave the land, beginning an indefinite space-faring life.

To fill the void left by Titan Giants, they chose to change their evolutionary direction, rearm themselves, thus creating female elf warriors.

However, this evolution wasn't perfect; the average intelligence of elf warriors was roughly equivalent to a thirteen-year-old human.

The earliest pure bloodline gene elves were chosen as leaders due to their superior physical qualities and intelligence, monopolizing the Titan Elf's ruling position.

To this day, the elf royal family's rule remains unchanged.

Upon discovering humans, they once again decided to return to pastoral life, regrouping. This came with a significant reduction in combat strength, as the current physique wasn't fit for planetary environments. Yet, this serene life surprisingly benefits the Titan Elves' long-term development.

Interestingly, the Cantelu have reappeared at this juncture. As humans would say, maybe this is destiny's cycle?

Fundamentally, your existence means Cantelu poses no real threat to humans. However, I think this could prove disastrous for the Titan Elf clan."

Feng Yi heard this, shaking his head with a bitter smile. Unexpectedly, the hatred between the two races traces back tens of thousands of years. Well, it's better not to dwell on it and focus on completing his final adaptive phase instead.
