Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 451: The Sun Spring

After the girls went to register, Daniel also asked a few of the staff there and finally found the way to enter the pocket dimension.

It turned out that the guild members who were participating in the competition and the spectators couldn't enter together, and their entry routes were different.

Before stepping into the pocket dimension, he waited a bit so he could tell Alice and Tiana and give them some advice. He also didn't forget to glance around at the others who were participating.

Naturally, the power level of all the participants was only rank F, and with a simple look Daniel could easily understand why his two sisters didn't like training inside the guild.

Compared to those two girls, these people were really way too weak. You could say the difference was like heaven and earth, as if first and second place had already been decided.

"Brother, we registered," a beautiful feminine voice suddenly pulled him out of his thoughts.

"Good. From what I found out, it seems the spectators' entry route is different from the participants'."

"That's right, the person at the registration desk told us that," Tiana nodded.

"So we'll have to split up here. I'll see you after the competition," Daniel patted both their heads.

"Ah, brother, don't you have any advice or something like that to tell us?" Alice asked shyly, her cheeks slightly red.

Doing something like that in public was really embarrassing for her. Even though she wanted to brush it off, she also didn't want to embarrass her brother either.

Besides, if she made him angry, he might beat her up later, so it was better to just endure it for now.

"I was planning to give you a few pointers, but after seeing the other participants and your so-called rivals, I changed my mind. Winning will be easy for you."

Tiana and Alice both nodded, and then the three of them said temporary goodbyes. The two girls went to the right, and seeing them, Daniel headed into the hallway on the left.

The hallway was crowded, filled with a large number of spectators. He calmly got in line at the entrance and waited for his turn.

From where he was standing, he could see that everyone was searched one by one, and after a body check they were allowed to pass through a portal that connected this building to the pocket dimension.

It took about twenty minutes until it was his turn. The guard frisked him, checking every part of his body, and then used a magic item just to be sure.

Then the guard handed him a ring and told him to put it on his finger. Once he did, he suddenly felt his connection to his inventory vanish.

With a frown, he tried to open his inventory again, but it didn't work. Now he understood what the ring was for.

The guard stepped aside and allowed him to enter the portal. Daniel, even though he wasn't happy about the situation, decided not to say anything and calmly walked toward the portal and stepped in.

For a moment the world around him went black, and when his vision returned, he found himself on a spectator platform filled with many seats. The platforms surrounded all four sides, somewhat like a football stadium.

In the middle was a battle arena that seemed to be isolated and protected by arrays. He looked around and sat down randomly on one of the empty seats.

After all, no one had given him a seat number, and there weren't any seat numbers on the chairs either.

Clearly, anyone could just sit wherever they wanted if it was empty. It didn't take long before all the seats around him filled up.

There were a lot of spectators, and those sitting in the first and second rows were clearly higher-ranking members of the Fallen Sun guild itself.

He scanned the place with his eyes, trying to use his spiritual sense, but realized it was blocked and unusable.

He sighed. It seemed the Fallen Sun guild was way too paranoid. What exactly was the meaning behind this level of security?

Not only were the Awakened spectators unable to use their inventories, even their spiritual senses were blocked as well.

To be sure, he tried circulating different types of energy in his body, and fortunately, he could still use mana and mana essence.

While he was checking his body, suddenly a middle-aged man wearing a red robe appeared in the sky.

"Greetings to all the honored guests who have come today to watch the first-term competition of the Fallen Sun guild." His booming voice echoed across the space.

"Today, we will witness more than a hundred one-on-one matches between newly Awakened members. We'll see how much they've progressed and whether they are worthy of promotion or not." He smiled, his gaze shifting toward the first row of seats.

"We would also like to thank the high-ranking staff of the guild for honoring us by serving as the judges for this round of matches."

"As many of you know, the fights will be chosen randomly and then proceed according to a bracket chart.

"The matches will continue until the top three places are decided… As for the rewards, the top ten will all receive a rank promotion, advancing from a Newborn Sun to a Young Sun."

"The top three will each receive a rank B item of their choice. And most importantly, the first-place winner will be able to enter the Sun Spring and temper their body and soul."

The moment his words rang out, shock and amazement spread across the faces of all the spectators.

It was clear none of them had expected such a reward for first place, and murmurs began to rise all around.

The middle-aged man, as if he had anticipated the reaction, continued with a smile.

"This year some changes have been made, and the guild leader has decided that the champion should be sent to the Sun Spring. As for the reason, the guild leader will personally explain it later."

"The Sun Spring? I never thought they'd allow a new Awakened to enter such a place."

"Right? I thought only rank S and top elites were ever allowed in there."

"What exactly happened for the Fallen Sun guild to become this generous? Maybe they have another plan."

While everyone was busy talking and trying to figure out the guild's intentions, Daniel turned his empty gaze toward a beautiful woman who forcefully cleared the seat beside him and sat down.

"Lady Selenia, it's been a while since I last saw you."
