Chapter 6833: Do It

“Fine!” Dark Emissary couldn’t give up without a fight, swinging his scythe at Li Qiye to conjure lethal waves.

The death sweep was indeed impressive, capable of ending half a world in the blink of an eye. However, they suddenly stopped inches away from his head, unable to continue.

Just one minor scythe should split his head open. However, something simply stopped all of them.

“I’ll return this death power to you.” Li Qiye smiled, stating his will.

The invisible hand was at work again - grabbing the scythes like a child playing with a sharp bamboo stick.

“Ahhh!” This dark power pierced his chest and lifted him, making his body look like a bow.

He could only twitch in pain, unable to move an inch while blood gushed out. Just like the others, he didn’t die despite the pain.

They were utterly confused with their eyes wide open. If a dragon wanted to kill an insect, it still needed to stomp or spew out flames. However, Li Qiye didn’t move an inch; everything just happened automatically.

“Too weak for anything.” Li Qiye shook his head in disappointment.

He slowly landed and stared at Apexblade who had enough time to heal. Overlords were simply too difficult to kill. The power difference needed to be insurmountable since they could create their body in the blink of an eye.

Nevertheless, his will to kill had considerably weakened. He gripped his sword the moment he saw Li Qiye.

The overlords were afraid of Li Qiye but Apexblade knew better - that this man was the dark hand behind the curtain. He had methods to torture someone for eternity.

“Still want to attack?” Li Qiye smiled, speaking like a caring senior.

Apexblade slowly let go and staggered backward. This wasn’t a matter of being afraid. It was just that attacking was futile. His fate would be no different from that of the other overlords.

His will to kill might be able to penetrate Li Qiye’s automatic defense but not hurt him. Struggling was useless and would only make things uglier.

“Do it.” Apexblade knew the outcome and asked for a better end than the others.

“Who says I want to kill you?” Li Qiye said, leaving the man speechless.

Was it because an overlord was just too weak for Li Qiye to take action?
