Chapter 1254 END OF FIRST DAY

SHEN JI YUN'S mind went completely blank for a moment after hearing Luo Yan's suggestion. The idea of spending three whole days with him, waking up next to him each morning, sharing meals, even bathing in the same space, flooded his thoughts all at once. His face grew hot, warmth spreading from his cheeks to the tips of his ears.

He quickly tried to calm himself. If he let his imagination run any wilder, his brain would start playing scenes similar to a pornographic movie. That wouldn't be good for his heart or his body. He really didn't want to spend the whole day trying to hide… certain body reactions that he only wanted Luo Yan to see.

He cleared his throat and was just about to answer when the dorm room door swung open. A young man with messy black hair and large glasses stepped inside.

"Xiao Yan—" he began, his face bright with excitement, but he stopped mid-sentence the moment he noticed Shen Ji Yun sitting beside Luo Yan.

His eyes widened behind his glasses, and his jaw went slack for a moment. He stared, looking completely stunned, before blurting out in an excited voice, "Oh my God! YUN?" He turned to Luo Yan. "Is YUN really here in our room?"

Luo Yan chuckled softly, clearly amused by Zhen Yihan's stunned reaction. "Yes, he's really here." He rose to his feet and turned to the two. "Xiao Han, this is Shen Ji Yun. Brother Ji Yun, this is Zhen Yihan."

Shen Ji Yun stood up as well, offering his hand politely. Zhen Yihan stared at it for a second before eagerly reaching out and shaking it with both of his own. Gripping it with a bit too much enthusiasm.

"It's such an honor to meet you! I've watched all your PvP matches. You're seriously the best Swordsman in the game!" he gushed, his words tumbling out in an excited rush.

Shen Ji Yun felt a little awkward under the force of Zhen Yihan's enthusiastic handshake and bright, earnest praise. A small pang of guilt tugged at him as he remembered how quickly he had assumed the worst about Luo Yan's new roommate. Imagining some sly, overly friendly stranger who might cause trouble. But now, face to face with the other, who was practically vibrating with genuine excitement at meeting him, Shen Ji Yun realized he had nothing to worry about.

Zhen Yihan finally let go of Shen Ji Yun's hand, his expression still bright with curiosity. "Are there other Yunyue members studying here too?" he asked eagerly. "Will they also come visit our dorm sometime?"

"There's one more, Bai Ze, also known as White Marsh," Luo Yan replied. "He's my older cousin too. I'm not sure if he'll come by the dorm, but I'll introduce you to him if we have the chance."

Zhen Yihan's eyes lit up all over again. "Really? That's amazing! I can't believe how lucky I am. Not only do I get to be roommates with Noctis himself, but I just met YUN, and now I might even get to meet White Marsh too!"

He shook his head, grinning widely as if he still couldn't quite believe his good fortune.

"If you had arrived earlier this morning, you would have met the amazing young master Jin as well," Luo Yan said with a playful smile.

Zhen Yihan's eyes widened. "Seriously? He was here?"

"He's my younger brother," Luo Yan said with a light laugh. "He was here this morning helping me unpack."

Zhen Yihan's shoulders slumped slightly, and he let out a small sigh. "Ah, I really missed my chance then. I would've liked to meet him too."

Luo Yan smiled warmly. "Don't worry, I'll introduce you during our next video call. I'm sure Ah Jin would be happy to meet you as well."

Zhen Yihan's face brightened instantly. "Wow, thank you! That would be amazing," he said, his voice full of gratitude. Then he paused, a curious look crossing his features. "Wait, is everyone in Yunyue related to each other?"

When he asked, his eyes seemed to shimmer with an almost unnatural brightness, like twin stars had lit up behind his glasses. He leaned forward slightly, his whole face glowing with pure, unfiltered delight, as if he were a character in an anime who had just unlocked a secret storyline.

Luo Yan felt a little bad having to correct him, especially seeing how excited Zhen Yihan looked. But he couldn't let him keep believing something that wasn't true. Before he could say anything, though, Shen Ji Yun spoke up first.

"No, I'm not related to Yan Yan."

Luo Yan glanced at Shen Ji Yun, feeling amused. The way the other said it made it sound like the idea of them being related was so ridiculous it did not even deserve a second thought. It was almost funny that, out of everything Zhen Yihan had just said, Shen Ji Yun seemed to have only heard the part about them possibly being related. And he had responded so quickly and firmly, as if the very thought of people mistaking them as brothers or cousins was somehow so offensive.

But given the kind of relationship they actually shared, it was probably the only correct way to react.

He turned to Zhen Yihan, wondering if the other had picked up on the hidden meaning in Shen Ji Yun's words. But judging by Zhen Yihan's still bright and slightly confused expression, that clearly wasn't the case.

"What about Morganite?" Zhen Yihan asked next.

Luo Yan shook his head gently. "It's just me, Ah Jin, and Brother Ze who are related."

The three of them fell into easy conversation, though most of the talking was between Luo Yan and Zhen Yihan. Shen Ji Yun listened quietly, interjecting only occasionally with a soft remark or a nod.

After a while, Luo Yan glanced at the time and suggested that they all go get dinner together. Zhen Yihan eagerly agreed, and even Shen Ji Yun gave a slight nod of approval. They headed out, discussing whether they should eat out or just go to one of the university's cafeterias.

And so, that was how Luo Yan's first day back at T University came to a close.
