Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 4388 - Blood-cleansed Battlefield

Chapter 4388 - Blood-cleansed Battlefield

Quite a few members of the Sundown Pantheon in the distance watched them leave. This outcome was no different whether Tianming had kidnapped the little empress or not.

Eventually, the Flameyellow Divine Path opened once more. Tianming piloted the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb into it and began his return journey.

"How magnificent! It looks much more majestic than the wormhole expressway! As expected!" The little girl's eyes shone brightly at the impressive black-gold sights within the Flameyellow Divine Path. She even tugged on Tianming's arm as the excitement poured endlessly out of her.

"What's expected?" Tianming asked the blonde, wavy-haired girl.

"The Flameyellow Divine Path is divine! History has been twisted by the Eightpart Pantheons. The Flameyellow Divine Path is mentioned in our current educational curriculum, but they said it's nothing compared to the wormhole expressway. I used to believe this without questioning it when I was much younger. However, I eventually got more interested in the topic and studied many ancient sealed records, so I've always read about the many vivid descriptions about the Flameyellow Divine Path. I hadn't had a chance to experience it for myself until now. I finally know who's telling the truth and who's lying."

"To think that they were doing that." Tianming thought that the Eightpart Pantheons wouldn't teach anyone about the history of the Flameyellow in the slightest rather than teaching them a twisted version of it. Then again, it wasn't surprising with the flameyellow descendants enslaved and forbidden from uttering the word that symbolized their heritage. There was no way they would be able to describe the true nature of the Flameyellow Divine Path either.

The little girl's eyes widened as she continued to stare dreamily outside. "So, the flameyellow divinities truly are the mightiest race in the entire universe. They were able to construct something like the Flameyellow Divine Path and the Heavenly Dao. Their wisdom was utterly impressive. I can't imagine how a great people like that ended up getting replaced with the Eightpart Pantheons."

"Even the most powerful of people would fall with enough time. There is no use focusing on a history we can no longer change. What I want to do is to restore this number-one race in the universe back to their rightful place. I will make the new rules that govern the universe," Tianming said.

"You are truly inspiring, you know that?" She looked at him intensely with her pretty eyes.

"Are you going to betray the Eightpart Pantheons that raised you just like that?"

"Well, it's not like I matter in the grand scheme of things. They go about as well as they can with or without me." She sighed before shyly saying, "More importantly, I worship the strong."

Tianming found it incredible that she was able to be so straightforward about such things. "It's too bad that there are far too few people in the Eightpart Pantheons who are like you. I still have to take care of the remaining pantheons one by one before I'm able to stick the flag of my dynasty properly on the Upper Star Ruin."

"I will serve you to the best of my ability, Emperor."

"You're the first person from the Eightpart Pantheons to volunteer to serve me, which means you're smart. I have to make you out to be a shining example for everyone else to encourage more people to surrender in the future."

The little empress giggled and didn't refuse it. She was more than happy to use what she was good at to her advantage, even against a domineering ruler.

A few days later, the ship emerged from the Flameyellow Divine Path near the pink Sun. The little empress said, "Is this the Flameyellow Imperial Star? Why's it pink? It's different from my imagination."

"You'll find out once you go in there," Tianming said. He had left a portion of Ji Ji in the Sun to prevent a sudden attack from the enemy. However, Yin Chen was still keeping a close eye on Calabash Windfiend, so nothing should catch him off guard. "How's the situation?"

"Sundown Pantheon... didn't turn... back to... rejoin them... but then... the other... three factions'... troops of... 16 billion... are still... approaching us..."

"They're still trying to fight at this juncture, huh?" During the last battle, the two imperators and their ten billion troops had been stopped by Tianming. This time around, they had an extra imperator and six billion more troops, which wasn't that much. Why did they still dare to press the attack? With Sundown and Starfall quitting the fight and the devas and wonderians refusing to join, more than half of the Eightpart Pantheons wasn't participating!

"That can only mean that they still have a trump card," the little empress said.

"Do you know what it is?" Tianming asked.

"If I did, I would've told you that long ago." She hugged her arms and pouted. "But if I figure out what it is later, I'll tell you immediately. I'm your number-one fan."

"Dream on. I already had loads of fans before you came along. Yin Chen, leak to the three pantheons that I've returned. Also tell them that if they're still going to press the attack, I will kill six billion of the ten billion captured troops from the last battle!" Naturally, the six billion would exclude captured troops from Sundown and Starfall. He had to give them some benefit after they were smart enough to leave the fight.

"Will do."

Tianming continued to pilot the ship back to the Sun as Yin Chen arranged it. If the battle really began once more, he had to have his family and friends board the ship once more.

Soon, Yin Chen replied. "They are... still pressing... on with... the fight."

"Fine! We'll cleanse the battlefield with the blood of six billion troops from the ashuras, Sin and Virtue Pantheons before we start fighting again."
