Chapter 3253: Yin And Yang Dao Embryos

Chapter 3253: Yin And Yang Dao Embryos

Lin Mu had suspected that the Baleful Corpse Tar was more than just corrupted energy. It was something unnatural, something formed from the blending of life and death. Still, if the twins could recreate it, even partially, it would save them from countless complications.

"Can you make it?" Lin Mu asked, his voice calm but hopeful.

The twins looked at each other and smiled mischievously.

"We can try," they said in perfect synchronization.

The air around them began to change as Xiao Yin inhaled deeply.

Her body exhaled a dense stream of dark gray-black mist, cold and heavy, suffused with Yin Qi. The mist spread through the air like fog on a winter morning. At the same time, Xiao Yang’s body began to glow white, and from his mouth came a bright stream of pure white vapor, radiating the warmth of pure Yang Qi.

When the two streams met, the air rippled.

HUALA

The balance between them was incredibly delicate. Too much Yin and the energy would collapse into frost and stagnation. Too much Yang and it would erupt into uncontrolled flame. The twins moved closer, their expressions grave as they began to adjust the flows with practiced control.

The first few attempts failed immediately. The moment the energies touched, they scattered violently. A ripple of distorted air rolled across the field, forcing the onlookers to shield their faces.

But Lin Mu did not flinch.

He knew that this would take time. He had seen what the twins were capable of during their many battles, and their synchronization had improved since then. He trusted that their control would eventually stabilize.

Once again, the twins tried, this time slower.

The Yin Qi rolled out like gentle fog, while the Yang Qi drifted like sunlight through the haze. When the two energies met, instead of bursting apart, they began to swirl in a steady spiral. The movement was mesmerizing.

The spiral rotated faster and faster, the air trembling as the Yin and Yang fused at the edges, creating streaks of gray.

HUUUUU

Then, Xiao Yin inhaled sharply, swallowing the swirling energy into her body.

Her eyes flickered open, now glowing faintly with the same gray hue. She held it there for several seconds, refining it inside her body before exhaling it again. Now it was slightly thicker, its form less gaseous and more fluid.

"Good," Lin Mu said quietly. "Do it again."

They did.

Over and over, the twins cycled the mixture between them.

Each repetition refined it further, condensing the vapor into a heavier and more stable form. After dozens of cycles, a faint, sticky substance began to drip from the mixture. It was dull gray in color, glistening faintly as it hovered in midair under the twin’s control.

It was close to Baleful Corpse Tar, but not quite there yet. The viscosity was too light, and the corruption within it was too mild. Lin Mu could tell from its aura that it lacked the weight of true balefulness.

The twins frowned.

"It’s still not right," Xiao Yin said, a hint of frustration in her voice.

"It needs more corruption," Xiao Yang muttered. "But not just decay. Something... living that’s trying to die."

Lin Mu crossed his arms and nodded. "That’s the essence of the Baleful Tar. It’s the moment of transition between life and death. You’ll need to push both your energies toward that threshold."

The twins exchanged a glance, their expressions becoming determined.

HONG

The air began to tremble as their auras surged.

Xiao Yin’s body grew colder, shadows swirling around her like the night sky devouring all light. Xiao Yang’s body grew hotter, his presence blazing like the heart of a sun.

The contrast between them became so sharp that even the Elder Ice Drake, who was observing from the side, took an involuntary step back. Yin and Yang were twisting together in a dance that defied reason.

Then, their energies began to merge once more.

HONG LONG

This time, the reaction was far more violent.

The air cracked as if reality itself protested the fusion. Shockwaves rippled outward, scattering pebbles and stone shards in every direction. Yet within that chaos, Lin Mu’s eyes saw it... the delicate balance between destruction and creation, the equilibrium between annihilation and birth.

In that instant, the twin’s bodies glowed brightly.

SHUA SHUA

The Yin energy condensed into a black sphere above Xiao Yin’s head, while the Yang energy condensed into a white sphere above Xiao Yang’s. The spheres pulsed rhythmically, each heartbeat echoing like the throbbing of a living heart.

Suddenly, from within those spheres, shapes began to emerge.

The black sphere cracked open, revealing a crystalline black serpent coiled tightly around a small white crystal clutched in its jaws. The white sphere opened as well, and from it slithered a small white serpent, pure as carved jade, holding a black crystal in its mouth.

The world seemed to freeze.

Every cultivator present felt their skin crawl as the pressure from those two small beings washed over them. Dao Traces radiated from the serpents, the kind of power that only appeared when one touched upon the threshold of true comprehension.

Even the Elder Ice Drake’s breath hitched.

"Dao embryos..." he whispered, his massive eyes widening in disbelief. "Those are Yin and Yang Dao Embryos."

In his long life, he had never seen even one of them before, not to mention seeing both of them at once. He had only heard about them from his own elders in the past, legends passed down since ancient times.

And now he was not only witnessing them, he was seeing Yin and Yang Dao Embryos that seemed a cut apart.

Lin Mu’s expression remained composed, but his eyes gleamed with pride.

The twins had done more than he had ever hoped. Not only had they managed to recreate the corrupted balance that formed Baleful Corpse Tar, but in the process, they had also awakened the deeper essence of their Dao.

As the two serpents circled above their heads, Xiao Yin and Xiao Yang’s bodies shimmered faintly with power.
