Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4240: End! I

Chapter 4240: End! I

At her words, Noah’s pondering gaze shifted. He reached into the impossible space of his own existence, and he took out... a key.

It was a simple, gray rectangular object, almost mundane in its appearance. A Key. The Frequency of Existence that had once been Hell Terra Firma!

It needed an influx of paradoxical authority to activate, and now, in this Shore, it shone with a faint, expectant light.

"I have a Key to a Doorway to THE Loom," he said, his voice a quiet statement.

Khor’s eyes widened, a flicker of genuine surprise in her ancient gaze. "How did you get your hands on something like that?"

Noah’s gaze drifted to the frozen figures of Bob and the Mutated Inevitability. "In my home Wheel of Existence, this Key used to be in the form of a mere Frequency of Existence. Actually... Little Bobby and others were looking for it. He was doing everything he could to find a path to bring back his daughter. But after everything was over and done, I obtained this Key. And now..."

His eyes flashed with a sharp, almost cruel, light as he thought of the intricate, looping patterns of existence.

A cold smile touched his lips. "Isn’t it unique how cause and effect works? From all those events back then, and how they led to Thauron, who initially had this Inevitability, which in turn led to my first meetings with Living Existences... Now Bob comes back, holding a Mutated Inevitability he fears, which allows you to see the horror of it all. And now, the Key, from all the way back then, is in play again. Existence...seems to be intricately unique."

Khor nodded, her expression cold.

"Choices, Outsider," she said, her voice a low murmur. "They steer one’s weavings of existence. In the vast unfairness of it all, only the choices one makes truly matter, for they are the only rudder you have. Without choices, you would only be pulled into the Flow and Weavings of others."

She looked at him, at the impossible being he was, at the frozen court of powerful entities that now surrounded him.

"You... seem to have pulled Living Existences, me, and many others into your Weavings. Continue to make your choices, Outsider."

Her gaze fell upon the Key in his hand, her eyes burning with a new, focused intensity.

"For now, let’s see what we can find from the Doorway that Key leads into."

...!

The heavy, frozen silence of the Radiant Shore began to thaw.

One by one, the beings suspended in the grip of Khor’s Haki stirred, their consciousnesses slowly returning to their forms like a tide creeping back up a silent beach as Khor’s Haki began to recede.

Noah stood amidst them, his presence a calm, unshakable anchor in their sea of confusion.

He looked at Khor, who was now calmly observing the still-unconscious form of Bob and the writhing, contained Mutated Inevitability.

Her rage had subsided, replaced by a cold, analytical focus.

"Let’s see what we can find," she had repeated. It was time to open the door.

Noah’s gaze settled on the gray, rectangular object in his hand. The Key. A relic from his own past, a piece of a forgotten story that had, through the intricate, looping weavings of existence, become the key to his future.

It pulsed with a faint, expectant light, awakened by the chaotic, paradoxical energies that now saturated his Shore. He had already filled it to the brim and activated it!

He tossed it into the air.

It hung there for a moment, a simple, mundane object in a realm of impossible beauty.

Then, Noah channeled his will. A stream of pure, paradoxical authority shot from his hand and into the Key for a final push.

It began to spin. A heavy, resonant hum filled the air, the sound of an ancient lock finding its long-lost key. Paradoxical waves of gray and silver light pulsed outward, distorting the very air, making the golden sands seem to ripple and flow like water. Where the light passed, reality seemed to thin, to become more... suggestive.

In moments, a massive, rectangular gray portal, a perfect, clean-edged wound in the fabric of the Shore, began to form!

[Key to Doorway #9384] has been activated.

Analysis: The influx of high-grade paradoxical authority has optimized the activation sequence. A stable, permanent pathway is being established.

Process: The pathway is aligning itself with the unique weavings of the Radiant Shore, creating a synergistic connection that will reinforce both the portal and the Shore itself.

Conclusion: A Permanent Portal to Doorway #9384 of THE Loom has been established. You may now enter and exit at your leisure.

The portal solidified, its gray, shimmering surface a silent, waiting invitation. Noah and Khor stood before it. In her abyssal eyes, a chilling, predatory light had begun to burn.

Noah looked at her, at the barely contained fury that still simmered beneath her calm exterior, and he spoke, his voice a gentle reminder. "Khor. Your Haki."

A flicker of something...surprise, then a hint of apologetic light, flashed in her eyes. The immense, oppressive pressure that had settled over the Shore in the wake of her rage finally, completely, released.

"Sorry about that, Outsider," she said, her voice returning to its usual, melodic cadence. "A percentage of my power leaked out due to my anger. It shouldn’t cause any long-lasting effects."

A percentage. Noah smiled calmly at the terrifying understatement.

In his Shore, his people awoke with a collective, shuddering gasp, the memory of that all-consuming, absolute darkness still fresh in their minds.

He glanced at his conceptual screen, at the chaos unfolding outside the Aegis, and wondered just how that ’leak’ would change the game he had set in motion.

A clone, a perfect duplicate of himself, emerged from his body. A similar phenomenon occurred with Khor, her own miniature copy stepping forth from her shadow.

Noah called out, "Malphas."

The Attendant appeared in a whisper of respectful silence. He bowed.

The three of them, the clones of the Tyrant and the Hunger, and the ever-faithful servant, turned and stepped into the gray, shimmering veil of the portal!
