Chapter 2743 - 2744: The Next Day

The next morning arrived quite lazily as I slowly woke up, still feeling a little dizzy from getting so drunk on cosmic chaos wine, as I like to call this weird concoction where I used miasma to ferment chaos fruits into a sweet and sour drink.
Certainly, it is so deadly it could kill most gods if it was able to get me so drunk, but I'll save it for later. I made a lot of bottles, but I don't want to become addicted, so maybe I'll gift some to my father.
Does he even have a birthday? I really don't remember if we ever celebrated one in the past. Well, it might be a good excuse to celebrate one now that he was able to satiate his hunger.
It really feels like I avoided a huge red flag when I helped my father satiate his hunger like that, or he would have become a much more antagonistic figure in Frank's life.
With his hunger satiated, there's literally no reason for us to target him or his family, so he should be safe for now. And well, that little caterpillar I left inside his heart from the kiss I gave him should also help him out.
From what I can gather right now... Oh wow, he has really grown stronger! He's gaining divine abilities left and right but... there's something interfering with the connection, so I cannot really gather any information about what's happening with him or what he talks about with others.
My intention was to use that little caterpillar to help him survive, protect him, and spy on him, but I guess the latter might not be possible aside from changes within his own body, such as how he has grown stronger.
His soul has also gained some sort of bond with a new divine weapon. And I think it might be related to White. It has the same essence as her, if not... even stronger?! What in the world is going on with Frank right now?
He's certainly deviating from the original timeline more and more, which I'm happy about, but I hope he doesn't bring more trouble to himself by doing so. The Chaos Gate should stay away from him for now, but even then, there are dozens of other dangerous organizations on this "Earth."
The Caterpillar Spirit I placed inside him is still a small larva. It slowly feeds on leftover Mana, Spirit Energy, Cosmic Power, Divine Power, and so on, without draining anything to make him weaker, just taking what he wastes when fighting or doing other activities.
By absorbing this leftover energy, the larva slowly grows larger until it reaches its caterpillar stage. It should then become Frank's Spirit Familiar, which should watch over him. But we'll see if it happens soon or not, depending on how much energy Frank uses in his daily life.
Anyway, I shouldn't really be thinking about these things right now. I came here to relax, after all. Today I plan to visit that god academy they made, see how everything is structured, and then go on a little adventure with my family, exploring this vast world inside my soul and more before resuming my life in the other world.
First things first, breakfast.
I quickly walked out of my bed, leaving my wives sleeping peacefully. Although not every single one of them was present tonight, there were still quite a few women. A series of huge cushions surrounded the bed where the rest of the girls were sleeping. Sneaking out by turning into ethereal chaos energy was easy.
I made my way to the bathroom, where I took a quick shower to refresh, and then headed to the large kitchen, where I found a couple of my maids and butlers working. Sakura was already wide awake, greeting me with a gentle smile.
"Ah, Kireina-sama! Good morning," she said as she made her way toward me, kissing my lips. "Did you come for breakfast? We are already cooking it."
"Oh, that's quite alright, Sakura. I wanted to cook something myself as well," I said. "I know that this is your duty and your job but let me help out for once."
The cooking team was quite surprised, but they seemed to agree with my little selfish desire and let me cook with them without any issues.
Chokumotsu and Kaen were present. Both were Mountain Monkeys recruited long ago, back when I just started, with great talent for Cooking Skills and Cooking Magic.
They had improved and become Gods a long while ago, and now they were slowly making their way to the Cosmic Realm as they became better at what they loved doing.
"It's nice to see you after a long while, Kireina-sama," Chokumotsu said. "We've been working hard not only here but across several sectors of your realm."
"Yeah! There hasn't been a day that we haven't cooked a feast now," Kaen laughed. "However, finding proper cosmic materials is still hard, especially because we can't really get them ourselves."
"Oh! I see, you two want to ascend into Cosmic Chefs or something?" I wondered.
"Yeah, well... lately there have been requirements for our Classes to Rank Up," Chokumotsu explained. "We need to cook meals using cosmic materials."
"So we were wondering if you could help us..." Kaen muttered. "I'm sincerely sorry if this comes out as selfish or-"
"Haha, no, no, it's alright," I laughed. "I happen to have a couple in my inventory, here."
I quickly gave them a box filled with a few dozen nicely harvested cosmic ingredients.
"T-Thank you so much!" Chokumotsu said happily.
"I can't believe it! They're really cosmic level!" Kaen laughed. "Thank you! Thank you so much!"
"Ah, don't worry, boys," I said with a wink. "Make sure to make these ingredients worth it, alright? Keep working hard for my family and my people, and you will always be rewarded."
After that, I made my way back to my bedroom, where I had breakfast with all my wives. Most of my children also ended up joining us, and it became really noisy.
But it was also really nice.
