Paragon Of Sin

Chapter 1890: Chapter 1882: A Sword's Path

Chapter 1890: Chapter 1882: A Sword's Path

History aside, Su Yi's act of ascension had come to an unforgettable end. Such rapid and unrivaled progression made all take note, especially that last breath!

A Heaven Gate manifested into the world by the Mystic Dao was an unprecedented occurrence of such a grand scale of achievement that few in the entire history of the Holy Void of Fortune had ever achieved it. It was a true sign of a force of marvelous nature being born into the world, destined for unparalleled greatness.

What benefits bestowed to Su Yi from such a development could only be guessed, even by the Supreme Sages that watched, yet the situation within the Utmost Purity Galaxy spared no time for investigation or theories. A firsthand experience was set to unfold upon the Utmost Purity Galaxy!

-----

Wei Wuyin's complexion was pallid, his lips bloodless, and his eyes dim with weakness. The task of operating on the Resonant Soul and body of Hong Xuannu, the She-Devil Sword Sovereign, was exhausting to an excessive level that neither he nor his Second Mind could have ever predicted. The incessant requirement to utilize his Major Laws repeatedly had drained him heavily of soul energy. If not for his Stellar-Paragon Physique's ability to assist the recovery of all forms of energy, extending to his soul, at an accelerated rate, he would have long since been forced to give up.

Hong Xuannu's luck was unimaginably good, far exceeding a Blessed beneath an Empyrean; Wei Wuyin's actions were nothing less than a gift from the divine. Given her perilous situation brought about by her own decision of self-sacrifice, not even a Superior Sage or Cardinal Sage would have been able to stabilize her life without a great, permanent cost, and there was no hope that they'd do so for her.

"This Su Yi is a genius of the highest order!" The Heavenly War Spirit exclaimed emotionally, drawing upon her innate knowledge of talents within the Mystic Ascendant Realm to declare such a bold claim. She was just about to unload into a series of praise when she halted herself, seemingly observing Wei Wuyin's actions of saving a life.

She was reminded that genius of the highest order was an unfair assessment. After all, Su Yi was at the True Sage Phase, a genuine Sage, yet Wei Wuyin, a mere Mystic Star Phase cultivator, was unlikely to be inferior. In fact, with six mutated Major Laws, a Defiant-sized World-Bound Star Domain, four Spirits of Cultivation, a Sempiternal Resonance Domain that far exceeded the Mystic Ascendant Realm while touching upon that great dao of eternity, a physique blessed by three great daos, an Alchemic Stars uniquely tailored by his continuous convention-defiant achievements, was enough to cause her to regret making that statement.

Unbeknownst to even her, Wei Wuyin also had a four-lineage mixture of bloodlines—True Void Dragon, Anima-Devourer, Magi, and the Bloodline of Sin.

The path of the paragon was unrivaled!

Fortunately, only she could make such a comparison.

"Careful," King's voice echoed within Wei Wuyin's Sea of Consciousness. It was the only Astral Soul that remained alert. Just then, a sharp gaze swept over—Su Yi's gaze! A vocal warning from King spiked Wei Wuyin's vigilance, causing him to return the gaze, finding the white-robed swordsman standing aloft in the Dark Void as the fiery zone's heated region was gradually subsiding into an icy chill.

'I wonder why Heaven-Saint Neo-Dawn is investing so heavily to save Hong Xuannu's life. I suppose I shouldn't complain, given the situation. I can only hope he didn't impose unreasonable conditions on her. If so, I'll have to intervene.' Su Yi's thoughts were utterly calm, disregarding the shadows that loomed nearby, seeking to harm him.

Since he had begun his journey of cultivating again on this arduous path, he always faced every situation with unshakeable confidence. The only setbacks he faced, excluding the loss of the game of Mystics, were much-needed lessons that built his foundation and corrected any mistakes while cultivating. They were mostly superficial.

Meanwhile, any situation that was difficult to handle with his cultivation base at those times was solved through a variety of trump cards such as the Wheel of Samsara and the Sword of the Transient Realm. They had brought him that level of established confidence, securing his life time and time again in dire situations of life and death.

Wei Wuyin aside, Su Yi inspected his body as he felt the single wisp of tenth-tier Breath of a True Sage. It was known by ancient cultivators as the Breath of Heaven's Revolution, or the Revolving Heaven Essence of Mysticism. These names hadn't been entirely lost, merely forgotten or neglected due to the rarity of their existence.

It was slowly etched out of most cultivation societies' teachings due to affecting countless top-notch geniuses' ambition, generating the ruination from seeking perfection or understanding one's inferiority, inevitably missing the mark. Even Enlightened Sage Pakhet's tenth-tier breath, which was only at the embryonic stage, forcefully generated by her comprehension of a Heavenly Law to the Major Authority, was an utterly outrageous and unreasonable path to take.

His Breath of Heaven's Revolution was genuine and complete, blessed by the Mystic Dao, yet hers was artificially made via force, and was noticeably inferior to his own, even if it was to be completed one day. This was the pitfall of cultivation and why he sought to start anew. Unless you can re-initiate the Tribulation Gate and make another attempt, any creation of this tenth-tier would be vastly inferior.

He hadn't just restarted his cultivation for this achievement, but a sequence of cultivation base milestones that had caused his previous cultivated foundation to be irredeemably inferior, affecting his progression as a Resonant Soul Realm cultivator, and permanently gatekeeping him from entering the realm of a Prime Sage.

It began from the Qi Condensation Realm.

During the Foundation Establishment Realm, his past life was perfect. Countless cultivators, even those from primitive cultivation societies of Qi Condensation Realm cultivators at their peak could establish a flawless Foundation Establishment Realm.

However, at the Qi Condensation Realm, the first pitfall that cultivators fell into was not birthing all nine elements at the Third Stage of the Qi Condensation Realm, the Elemental Birth Phase, before ascending into the Yin Form Phase, and then merging those elements into Elemental Origin Qi to nourish the body. This was something only those who typically pursued a mastery of the nine elements—four basics and five advanced—would achieve.

After that, Yin Form, Yang Growth, False Reality, Sublime Qi, and Infused Spirituality Phases had no specific requirements outside of tempering one's innate energies to their maximum limits that a body refined by Elemental Origin Energy could handle.

As for the Ninth Stage of the Qi Condensation Realm, to achieve the pinnacle, a cultivator had to not only cultivate a Zenith Essence but simultaneously attain the Zenith Mortal State before challenging the Astral Core Realm. By gaining this, a cultivator acquires the ability of Permanence, tapping into a godly level of power to execute Creation.

It was the initial stages of Mortal World Intent, allowing the qi generated by a cultivator to exist in perpetuity unless destroyed by an external or natural force by sustaining itself off mana. It was an ability that far exceeded its cultivation stage.

When he was cultivating in his past life, Su Yi had established unprecedented Qi Condensation Realm foundations. The issue came after.

The flaws that would affect him for a lifetime.

The first and second stages of the Astral Core Realm, the World Sea Phase and Sky Ruler Phase, followed the same logic as Foundation Establishment and Qi Condensation, having no specific requirements outside of maximizing one's cultivated foundation through accumulation and temperance. The third stage, just like the Elemental Birth Phase, was the true test.

Soul Idol!

Within the Soul Idol Phase, a cultivator absorbs Manifested Spirit Energy generated by the Soul-Pulse Manifestation Tribulation. What cultivators didn't realize was that Manifested Spirit Energy was Nascent Soul Energy that would be developed for the Spirits of Cultivation to access the power of the heavens. It began as a seed, nourished by every subsequent step of cultivation, yet before the Resonant Soul Realm, it was easy to overlook.

When he learned of this critical detail of cultivation, he cursed those who led the cultivation society with words that would make a devil feel embarrassed and inferior.

He was born in a place with Resonant Soul Realm cultivators, and while it wasn't the Utmost Purity Galaxy, they had a sufficient understanding of cultivation to pass along this information to its natives, yet they kept this as an obscure fact for ages.

To attain the peak as a Soul Idol Phase cultivator, thirteen rings must be born. These rings would later act as tools by which the Manifested Spirit Energy is refined and nourished. Moreover, beyond the tenth, which is regarded publicly as the maximum for most societies, the eleventh ring was known as the Great Spirit Rings.

The 'great' character used was the same as 'great dao' often described in scholastic writing. They were for the Mundane Dao, the Unfathomable Dao, and the Eternal Dao.

Otherwise known as the Mortal Dao, the Mystic Dao, and the…

These three great daos signified the paths for all cultivators, and those rings would act as placeholders to hold traces of their Intent to be utilized by the Spirit of Cultivation's soul energy in the future.

Next was the Spatial Resonance Phase, acquiring a Spatial-Convergence Ripple that would eventually allow a cultivator to grasp Fixed, Stable, and Chaotic Spatial Energies, and rely on that to enter the Void at will. While not necessary to ascend, it would ensure that one's time later was remarkably easier.

The Light Reflection Phase was aptly named, yet easily misunderstood; to achieve the peak here, cultivators had to attain Primary Soul Light to nurture their Manifested Spirit Energy. Instead, most geniuses used various means to artificially extract Soul Light from their Spirits of Cultivation to nurture their Seed of Law or substitute it with external treasures in advanced societies. It was infinitely inferior.

The Gravity Emission Phase required the birth of a Singularity within one's body. There were many variants, but as long as a tiny black hole was born and sustained without causing an instantaneous result of death, you've achieved the peak for this stage of cultivation. A black hole would offer unparalleled temperance of one's Manifested Soul Energy, Innate Energies, and act as an anchor to the world during the Mystic Ascendant Realm's tribulations.

Without it, there's a certain point where an advancement obstacle as a Resonant Soul Realm cultivator becomes nigh-impossible to overcome, leaving Supreme Sages scrambling to find existing singularities in the world to refine into themselves or turning their World-Bound Domains into one, leading to unpredictable results.

Outside of grasping an Absolute-sized World-Bound Star Domain to create a bridge to one's soul and mind, allowing Mortal Intent to be accessed by the cultivator themselves directly for the first time and an Astral Idol that required attaining the limits of one's physical, mental, and essence energies as a Starlord, the Realm World and Temporal Eye Phases had no specific peak.

These were all things he learned after attaining the Resonant Soul Realm, finding that his flaws in the Mortal Realms caused his Mystic Ascendant Realm to suffer unavoidable flaws. Su Yi felt blessed to be able to correct them all.

Now, the fruit of his labor had begun to show itself; the Breath of Heaven's Revolution was irrefutable evidence that his path thus far was unrivaled and flawless.

Taking a gentle breath, the Sword of the Transient Realm hummed softly by his side, hovering as if it had a mind of its own.

Now that he'd looked back at his past, rectified those mistakes, he was ready to carve a path with his sword into the unprecedented, achieving strength that no one has ever achieved.

"I promised I'll bring you to battles far exceeding anything you've ever experienced," Su Yi said softly, speaking to the sword before him, "and today is the first of many." With that, he reached out, strongly grasping the hilt of the Sword of the Transient Realm.

A sword cry resounded throughout the galaxy!
