1894 Strange Currents! Dragged In! (2)
Wang Teng smiled slightly but didn’t answer.
Tong En and the others were becoming increasingly puzzled by his demeanor. Wang Teng’s image in their eyes was becoming more enigmatic.
This guy seems to know quite a bit!
The spacecraft didn’t linger and continued its flight towards Devil Wood Star. It descended through the atmosphere, passing through gray clouds and mist. This gave the planet an eerie appearance.
Looking down from the spacecraft, all vegetation had withered, and there was no sign of any living creatures.
This planet seemed truly “dead”!
Many of the students on board had been here before, but they couldn’t help but look grim.
The threat of dark apparitions existed since ancient times and always posed a threat to the survival of the human race.
Even though countless strong individuals had been born over the ages, they still couldn’t completely eliminate the hidden danger posed by the dark apparitions.
The spacecraft flew over the land and into the oceanic region.
The ocean on this planet appeared lifeless as well, completely calm with no signs of any living creatures. The spacecraft flew low over the sea, creating ripples on the surface.
Before long, a group of islands appeared on the horizon. The spacecraft landed on one of these islands.
“We have reached our destination,” Tong En said.
Everyone flew out of the spacecraft and came to the island.
Wang Teng scanned his surroundings curiously and realized that there were many people on this island. There were also buildings constructed between the distant mountains.
“Those are the martial warriors stationed here from the Seven Stellar Academies,” Tong En explained.
The spacecraft flew away after sending Wang Teng and everyone else to their destination.
They proceeded deeper into the island, arriving at a valley quickly.
Within this valley, many buildings had been constructed, and people were moving in and out of them, creating a lively scene.
At the heart of the valley stood a grand hall.
“These buildings were mostly constructed by the students themselves, some serving as resting places, while others are used for trading,” Yuan Bai explained as he walked alongside Wang Teng.
Wang Teng nodded, listening to the explanation while following Tong En and the others to the entrance of the grand hall. The doors to the hall were tightly shut, preventing anyone from entering or leaving freely.
“Please stop!” An emotionless voice came from the grand hall.
“We’re here for a mission.”
Tong En and the others were familiar with this place so they were used to it. After reporting, they proceeded to input their information on the wall to the left of the door, causing a holographic screen to appear. Each of them entered their details.
“Wang Teng, it’s your turn.”
After all five of them entered their information, Tong En looked at Wang Teng and spoke.
Wang Teng followed suit, quickly inputting his identification information.
Boom!
With a thunderous sound, the doors swung open.
Everyone stepped in.
Inside the grand hall, a soothing azure light filled the air, giving the impression of a dreamlike world, as if they had entered another realm.
Wang Teng focused his gaze and noticed a deep blue vortex ahead. The radiant light emanated from within the vortex.
“Enter the Poison Erosion World immediately. You are not allowed to linger!”
A voice suddenly echoed within the hall. Wang Teng and the others couldn’t determine its source.
Simultaneously, six rays of light shot out from the darkness and halted in front of each of them.
“These are tokens. When you return, activate the tokens, and someone will guide you out of the Poison Erosion World,” the echoing voice spoke once more.
Wang Teng and the others blinked and promptly accepted the tokens hovering in front of them.
Tong En and the others were familiar with it, but this was the first time Wang Teng saw it. He examined it closely.
The token was dark blue and there was a complex set of numbers displayed on it. It was the ancient language.
Based on Wang Teng’s understanding, it should be the number 13587.
“Let’s go!” After stowing their tokens, Tong En uttered a command and entered the azure vortex.
Wang Teng didn’t dare to linger around and quickly stepped into the azure vortex.
Boom!
Wang Teng felt the world spinning. The next moment, his vision turned black and he appeared in a strange void.
From the grand hall to this void, it all happened in an instant. They seemed to have entered a different world.
Wang Teng glanced around, feeling somewhat intrigued.
The void was filled with thick constellation Poison Force, distinctly different from the starry sky of the original universe.
If poison-element martial warriors were to train here, their progress would be much faster!
“The Poison Erosion World is roughly the size of a galaxy. To reach Scorpion King Star, you’ll need to use your own spacecraft,” Tong En said with a smile. “Let’s part ways here and head to Scorpion King Star individually.”
As they spoke, Qin Quan and the others had already taken out their spacecraft and were preparing to step in.
“Take care!” Wang Teng raised his fists at the five of them.
Watching Tong En and the others’ ships vanish into the distance, Wang Teng’s eyes flickered. Then, he took out his spacecraft, the Devil Slayer, a universe-level vessel, and entered the ship.
The spacecraft enabled and transformed into a streak of light.
“Round Ball, head to Scorpion King Star.”
“Okay!” Round Ball emerged beside Wang Teng and took control of the spacecraft. It sped towards a particular direction in the void.
The Devil Slayer was extremely fast. After about half an hour, they were getting close to Scorpion King Star. Wang Teng immediately stored the Devil Slayer and changed to another heaven-level spacecraft to prevent attracting too much attention.
