1339 A Difficult Battle—Killing the Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast! (3)
The Devil Soundwave left no traces, and could be hidden within the Divine Sonicwave. The massive dragon wasn’t skilled in the spirit department, so it would go unnoticed.
Honestly, the Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast’s pleased expression was a little funny.
The fellow had thought it was a cut above, yet Wang Teng was already at the top.
It became furious due to embarrassment. What a sly little human. Even someone as smart as myself was tricked by me.
As expected, all humans are bad!
The beast complained, yet became more vigilant of any sonic attacks.
The attack went through, even when blocking. Something wasn’t right.
Just then, the terrifying force fluctuation from the Devil Slayer attracted its attention. The dragon glared at Wang Teng and decided to disregard him for now. It then rushed towards the ship.
There was a sense of threat coming from the force attack being prepared. The beast moved to prevent the attack from being launched.
The creature was as intelligent as a human, and knew it would have been hurt if our hero hadn’t tricked it.
Another sonic attack crashed right into its consciousness.
The Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast tried its best to resist but failed. It was dazed and confused.
After two seconds passed— the creature shook its head and snapped out of it, with an expression showing both fear and anger.
The ship finished charging; the universe-level cannon fired.
“Roar!”
The dragon beast roared into the sky and a dark yellow force erupted from its body. No longer holding back in the face of death, it released all its power, including origin power, to form a powerful defense wall.
Boom!
The cannon blast rammed into its body.
Wang Teng furrowed his brow as he quickly ordered his ally, Round Ball, “Recharge!”
The latter was stunned, but chose to comply without any hesitation.
“Roar!”
The dragon was still alive and kicking; it dashed out of the cannon’s range while a dark-yellow light glowed around it like a protective shield.
Wang Teng squinted and shouted frantically, “Shit! Move!”
Right after moving out of range, the dragon headed straight for the ship at a very fast speed, getting really close within a split second. Using its large body, it rammed against the Devil Slayer’s metallic shell.
Boom!
A loud bang echoed in the air.
Round Ball immediately activated the ship’s shield when the battlecraft was hit.
The giant spacecraft was unable to withstand the impact; it was thrown backwards, crashing into an asteroid passing by.
The ship’s defenses shattered with a bang!
Wang Teng’s expression had a complete change, not expecting the beast’s final retaliation to be that strong. As expected of a universe stage dark behemoth. Although exhausted and badly injured, it wasn’t good to underestimate the creature.
The dragon was also affected by the last collision. The latter shook its head and took some time to recover. Then, it stared at the Devil Slayer coldly, then planned to strike the spacecraft again.
It could definitely turn the spacecraft into scrap this time.
Wang Teng reminded Round Ball hurriedly through voice transmission, “Round Ball, evade the attack. The dragon beast is going all out.”
Round Ball also noticed this, and hurriedly maneuvered the ship to veer away from the asteroid and the attack range.
The crash destroyed the defense shield and damaged 30% of the ship’s body. The ship would be unable to sustain another crash.
“Roar!”
The dragon chased after the ship, dead set on destroying it.
Wang Teng looked grim. Space fluctuations floated outward, moving around his body.
A large number of space attribute bubbles were formed when the dark apparitions opened dimensional rifts; these space phenomena caused by the fight between formidable martial warriors had also created space-attribute bubbles, making our hero’s spatial proficiency to have a tremendous rise when he picked them up.
Space Physique: 208500/300000 (third-rank)
Although merely at the third-rank, he had become much stronger than before. Although clueless as to whether he could hurt the big dragon, that was his strongest move, so he had to give it a try.
Boom!
Space power was swept out, twirling around the young man. It became a tornado soon after.
The space around him cracked, turning into new dimensional rifts. An invisible wind blew, so sharp it was able to cut through everything.
The dragon beast felt something was off, then turned to stare at Wang Teng in bewilderment.
Wang Teng said in a low voice, “Round Ball, stop that fellow.”
“That move?” Round Ball’s eyes lit up. It looked at the dragon beast and smiled. “Big fellow, let’s play!”
Boom, boom, boom…
Force cannons were shot from the ship as the little one tried to disturb an Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast. The attacks weren’t universe-stage attacks, but they could injure heaven stage beings. Thus, the Obelisk Scale Dragon Beast couldn’t ignore them.
Round Ball’s heart was aching. We are burning money!
Every cannon required a large amount of energy stones. They would have stopped long before if Wang Teng wasn’t wealthy enough.
