Chapter 4487: Discovered

I got up and looked around with my soul sense moving further than it had yesterday.

The time was enough for my clones to improve it. They more than improved as the range of my soul sense here had increased by around 32%, which is massive.

There are so many resources, and I wanted to harvest them all, but I managed to control the urge.

There is also danger. I need to be extremely careful.

That doesn’t mean I won’t be harvesting the resources. I will, but only the ones that are on my way, not those that are all around this place.

I moved slowly, harvesting the resources while keeping an eye on the monsters and people.

Both of them are still in their places and comprehending the law. I think they will be here the whole day, despite coming earlier than I did.

I used the dangerous shortcut; they might be coming in slowly, but it is also much safer.

It didn’t much matter to me; I wanted to harvest the resources on the way and get on my way.

Soon, I crossed half the distance and harvested a flower from the small flower plant, when I froze.

More like I had stopped as one of the monsters suddenly got up. It scared me; it is not the monster getting up that had scared me, but exploding in its power.

Immediately, I felt all the monsters rising.

Roar Raor!

A bulky white feline roared loudly, its power spreading across the area; the other three monsters roared in unison, releasing their own aura.

They are looking at each other threateningly, but only for a moment, before their focus shifts.

’Fuck!’ I cursed.

Their power filled the whole area as they discovered the two. The white feline sensed the man, but as the power spread, they discovered the woman as well.

I didn’t sense any focus on me, but that didn’t make me feel any better.

They will discover me. If I had been at the boundary or close to it, I wouldn’t have been this worried, but there is still distance, and with their sense hyperfused, I could even take a step.

It is a miracle that they haven’t discovered me yet despite me standing openly.

Now, I am thinking whether I should run or wait; neither of them is a good choice.

Roar Roar!

I was thinking that when the monsters roared and moved toward him in attack.

Both of them have already opened their eyes and gotten up. Seeing the monsters, they blasted their aura, and they are as powerful as I had expected.

They are very close to the level of the top three realms, the same level as that old woman who had traded with me.

That is an immense power, but even with it. I fear for them, as those monsters aren’t weak. They are very powerful, and they want to kill the two of them.

The white feline attacked the man along with Black Hare monsters.

While Purple Boar and the wolf attacked the woman, all four of them are nearly equally powerful, with four laws projecting in their attack.

The man possesses a law of metal, which he wields with his staff, while the woman has grasped the two laws: lightning and Wind.

She didn’t stay in her spot like the man and moved to escape. Seeing that, I wanted to shake my head.

It is a good attempt. If she had been anywhere else, even surrounded by a group of Peak Primes, she would have been able to escape easily, but these monsters aren’t weak.

The wolf blurred and appeared in front of her, and attacked, forcing her to stop.

They clashed, and the woman moved back, with blood leaking out of her lips. The wolf injured her in the first attack, but her problems aren’t over, as another attack from the boar came.

It was powerful than the Wolfs, but she was able to dodge it. As she did, the Wolf’s attack came at her.

The wolf might be as powerful as the Boar, but it is fast. Blurringly fast, the speed that even women can’t match, and being restricted by it.

I focused on the man, and he was using both offensive and defensive attacks to defend himself against the relentless attacks of the two monsters.

He is very good, but the woman is getting injured with every attack.

The monsters seemed to understand that they were trying to escape and doing everything they could to stop them.

They are doing a pretty good job at it.

It didn’t make me feel good because I know I might soon be receiving ends of these monsters, and I am not powerful enough to fight against them like these two.

My defences are strong, but I am not fully confident in them.

It is the reason why I didn’t just summon them and run toward the boundary. I will not summon them until I am forced to.

Till I remain just as I am.

Who knows, these two people might be able to escape. This will leave me a clear way to leave. I am wishing for the best, but preparing for the worst.

Time passed, and the attacks of the monsters are intensifying.

The monsters hate that they are not able to do to these two people, who feel weaker than them, and use everything they have against them.

The two are trying to escape every moment, but are unable to do so.

Even at such a time, I want to insert my seeds in them, not only in the monsters, but also in the people. I am not going to do that.

That will be the most idiotic thing I will do. Not to mention, it will not work.

I was in my thoughts when the attack came toward me. The boar had not targeted me; it was a stray attack of tens of powerful concentrated beams.

If I didn’t do anything, some of them would hit me, but if I did, they would sense me.

It is not a choice; I have to survive.
