Chapter 4465: Disturbed
I swam with countless people before stopping as I reached my limit.
I could go to the centre, but not Sovereign me. I need to stay at the outer edges. I would have loved to go to the centre, but it’s risky.
"This is heaven!" said the woman, not far away from me, before completely going under the water.
I am Sirdas confluence.
It is a confluence of three rivers; it is nothing special, until the nine days of every year.
In those nine days, three types of different energies enter the river through the different sources and confluence, forming a completely new energy that is very beneficial to powerhouses.
This is my last week with identity; in the next week. I will, I will reveal myself.
It had been a year, fourteen months to be exact, since I came out of the realm. The news, shocking as it may have been, had died down.
People still discuss it. Especially when someone new is found, but not with the same fervour as they used to.
I could keep hiding, but it didn’t serve any purpose anymore. I have hidden enough, and now it’s time to reveal myself.
It will not be without danger, but there are always dangers. I can’t remain forever. I have to travel, explore places, and advance.
I am doing well with my inheritance, but I need some inspiration. I am sure the travel and challenges that came with it will provide them.
I pushed those thoughts away and closed my eyes before submerging myself into the water.
The enemies swirl around me, massaging every part of my body. This is not the best it could give, but it is still pleasurable, and I want to enjoy it.
It is why I came here and paid for it. It was not cheap for a regular Sovereign.
I stayed with my eyes closed for nearly three hours before bringing my head above the water, and then I started to swim toward the shore.
I wanted to stay more, but it’s time to get out; an average Sovereign could stay in the water before it starts to get comfortable.
I reached the shore before stepping out of the river and walking toward a small white house on the hill. There are thousands of them in the hills around me.
Most of them are large buildings, which are cheaper, but I wanted something cute with a great view.
I stepped inside and sat down, watching the grand confluence. It lasts for nine days, and it is only on the third day. I am thinking about extending my stay.
Hun!
I was in my thoughts when I noticed a disturbance.
Someone, sitting by the river, suddenly got up and shot at full speed when a few people approached him.
As he shot into the sky, those four people followed him immediately.
I felt his aura, and a surprise couldn’t help but appear on my face. I sighed seeing that, but soon disappeared from my spot.
He moved fast, with four following behind him. They are powerful, but not as powerful as he.
He began to gain distance from them, and it kept increasing fast.
"Jass, there is no use in running," said the green-haired man chasing him.
The man didn’t reply and kept flying. Looking at the way he is doing, he seems to be used to it, which made me sigh once more.
He may have escaped before, but this time, it will be hard for him.
Minutes passed, and the distance between them became greater and greater, till he was out of soul range. I could see a smile appear on his face at that moment.
Though it remained for a fraction of a second before fear appeared in his eyes.
He is smart, and the next second, he slowed down before stopping. A moment later, an old man with pale green skin and four arms materialised in front of him.
"You shouldn’t run. We do not mean you any harm, Sky Sovereign Jass," said the old man.
I could see that the man was angry, but he kept his emotions under control.
"Then I hope you will stop me from leaving," replied the man, but the old man only smiled.
"You’re a talented individual, Sky Sovereign Jass. If you join our organisation, we will foster you to your full potential," said the old man.
"I had told your people before, I have no interest in joining your organisation," replied the man, but once more the old man smiled.
"I am sure you will change your mind. Once you meet our leader and talk to him," said the old man, and his power captured the man.
He is powerful and tried to resist, surprising the old man with the power he had burst out, but the difference is too big.
"You bastard, let me go!" he screamed, but the old man only smiled.
"You shouldn’t force someone who didn’t want to go with you, Prime Vestmi," I said, and the power that had captured the man began to collapse.
The old man turned and found me beside the stone skin man.
"You have been in quite a news, Jass," I said to the man, whose eyes lit up seeing me. "It’s not like I don’t want to be in the news, Prime Arys," he replied.
I could see the relief flooding in his eyes. He is Hardin Jass, one of the people of the realm.
They have been chasing him for months. He was able to get away many times and would have gotten away this time as well. If not for the Prime.
"Prime Arys," he said with his eyes lighting up.
The next moment, something invisible and hard to detect came out of him and shot into the sky.
Though the next moment. It exploded into the brilliant light, shocking the old man. It was a communication tool and quite a good one.
Unfortunately, not good enough to evade my senses.
I turned to the old man from the lights. "It’s nice meeting you, Prime Vestmi," I said to the old man and moved with Jass when the old man appeared in front of me.
Seeing that, my expressions couldn’t help but become serious.
