Chapter 2485 Homunculus

"DIVINE PARAGON?! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Demon Emperor Carnage screamed in terror before instinctively yanking his arm trying to break free from Yuan's grasp, pulling so hard that he ripped his own arm out.

Blood gushed everywhere for a second before another arm regenerated, sealing the wound.

"Divine Paragon…?" Qian Chu and Yan Hara turned to look at Yuan with a dumbfounded face.

"That's impossible! The Divine Paragon is dead! There's no way he could be here right now!" Qian Chu did not believe for a second that the Divine Paragon was still alive, much less appear before them right now.

Demon Emperor Carnage had tried to spread news of the Divine Paragon's return shortly after their encounter, but nobody believed him, so he gave up on trying.

Meanwhile, Yan Hara released a relieved sigh.

"Yuan…" she murmured softly before collapsing onto the ground from sheer exhaustion.

Her body instinctively recognized his presence as safety, causing the last bit of strength sustaining her to finally give out.

The Demon Sealing Flag wrapped its cloth around Yan Hara before carrying her away.

"So, have you managed to summon an Ancient yet?" Yuan suddenly asked Demon Emperor Carnage.

"That is none of your business!" Demon Emperor Carnage shouted.

"It isn't? Even though you used their existence to threaten me before?" Yuan remarked with a calm smile.

"That's…" Demon Emperor Carnage gritted his teeth.

"What's going on here, Carnage?!" Qian Chu suddenly approached him and questioned.

"I just told you! He's the Divine Paragon!" Demon Emperor Carnage shouted angrily.

"You expect me to believe that?! The Divine Paragon is dead! He may look like the Divine Paragon, but that's all!"

Qian Chu said.

Then he remembered something and smiled coldly, "You must be that newcomer I have heard a lot about. The one who resembles the Divine Paragon—Little Founder."

"I must admit, you are a splitting image of the Divine Paragon. Unfortunately for you, I am not foolish enough to fall for such trickery!"

Yuan looked at Qian Chu for a second before returning to Demon Emperor Carnage and saying, "Working together with a homunculus? I thought you hated their kind."

"?!?!" Qian Chu's eyes widened in disbelief after hearing Yuan's words.

Then, without warning, swung at Yuan while exuding an immense amount of killing intent.

 "How do you know about my kind?!" he roared.

Yuan casually dodged the attack and replied, "How? I was present during the purge of your 'kind', even offering some assistance. To think one would still stand before me right now…"

Homunculus were artificial beings created through a forbidden technique that has existed even before the Great Cataclysm, brought into existence for a single purpose—to satisfy the twisted curiosity of a mad demon.

During Tian Chenyu's first visit to the Demonic Realm, Homunculus existed in great numbers, wreaking havoc across the Crimson Continent. In response, he had aided Supreme Ruler Dena in eradicating them from existence by killing the mad demon and destroying his research.

"You…" Qian Chu suddenly started walking backwards in small steps, his face twisted with disbelief.

Yuan then said, "I heard something quite entertaining earlier. You can help him summon an Ancient, is that right?"

"So what if I can?" Qian Chu subconsciously responded.

"I really want to see one—an Ancient. So, I am willing to let you live until then."

"What?!" Qian Chu exclaimed in shock.

Demon Emperor Carnage wasn't as surprised since he was also allowed to escape before for the same reason.

"What are you waiting for? If you want to die right now, I can fulfill your wish."

Yuan released some of his Demon Sealing Aura, instantly shocking them, as it was countless times stronger than what Yan Hara displayed.

Without hesitation, Demon Emperor Carnage turned around and fled, not even waiting around for Qian Chu to act.

Qian Chu gritted his teeth and also ran away.

But before he could get far, Yuan's voice resounded, "You forgot something."

The next moment, the three Demon Sealing Treasures chased after Qian Chu.

Qian Chu's entire face turned as red as a tomato after experiencing such humiliation for the first time in his life.

'I don't care who you are! Even if you really are the Divine Paragon, I will make you pay for humiliating me!' he swore inwardly.

Shortly after they escaped, the other Demon Sealers appeared.

"Where's Senior Yan?!" "She's safe," Yuan said. "Let me take you to them."

He turned around and flew away, leading them to where he placed Yan Hara.

"Senior Yan!" Her supporters exclaimed in terror after seeing her condition.

"Calm down, she's fine."

One of the Demon Sealers with a medical background approached Yan Hara and examined her condition.

"Besides some external injuries, she's mostly just unconscious from exhaustion," he said.

Her supporters sighed in relief.

"What happened here, Senior Divine Paragon?"

Yuan pointed at her and said, "You can ask her once she wakes up."

The Demon Sealers fed Yan Hara some medicine, and it didn't take long before she opened her eyes.

"Yuan…?" Yan Hara muttered in a daze as she woke up.

"Senior Yan! Are you okay?! What happened during the Demon Slaying Parade?"

Yan Hara turned to look at Yuan, who silently nodded his head.

Although she was still a bit dazed, Yan Hara explained the situation to everyone present, from Qian Chu's betrayal and cheating to the appearance of a real Demon Emperor.

"What?! The Clan Leader is in cahoots with a Demon Emperor?! The same one during the Supreme Demon Sealer's Qualification?! How the hell are we supposed to believe that?"

"Why are we asking her when we can ask the Divine Paragon?" Someone said aloud.

Suddenly, everyone there turned to look at Yuan.

Rather than affirming Yan Hara's claims, Yuan only revealed what he saw with his own eyes—that Qian Chu and the Demon Emperor were working together to fight Yan Hara.

"If I hadn't arrived in time, she wouldn't be alive right now," he said while shaking his head.
