While Michael is making his way over to the North Gate.
A group of players are instead hitting on Tina after seeing that there’s a beautiful female player just near them.
"Hey there girl, are you looking for a team? We’re planning to hunt soe monsters inside Kuberun Swamp"
A suave looking Cleric, armed with a flanged mace and small diamond shield walked over cooly towards her, and asked while showing her his best smile.
But Tina just gave him a quick glance before ignoring him and started playing with her Sanguine Hawk, and seeing that he’s just being ignored. The Cleric showed an embarrassed smile before bolting out of there and went back to his teammates, under the snigger of the other players around him
After that, a couple more players approached Tina but all of them were given the same treatment...ignored.
Even though they were a bit angry that Tina is literally ignoring them like they don’t even exist, but they still don’t have the guts to cause her any trouble, especially when they’re inside Calderock Village.
It was because Calderock Village might be just a simple village, but the guards here are so powerful you would mistake them as City Guards instead, it was because their levels is already on par with a soldier stationed inside a city.
Even Michael was surprised about it the first time he arrived at Calderock Village. It was because the village guards that he encountered back at Timor Village are only around Level 30, while the village guards here at Calderock are all around Level 50, with their Guard Captain being Level 60, while their village chief’s level is unknown, which is pretty abnormal considering that the place is only a village.
And NPCs with special status are the only people that have information full of question marks, unlike soldiers or guards where you can literally see their level no matter how high it is.
A little while later, Michael arrived and picked her up, and then both of them went hunting monsters.
Michael accompanied her for another day inside the game before going into their separate ways for the time being because the village chief of Calderock Village had asked for his services for a particular quest that only someone like him could do.
And right now, he’s currently inside the village chief’s house and facing him face to face as they sat opposite of each other with a table in between them, with a small basket of assorted fruits and with two cups of fruit juice on top of it.
"It’s a pleasure to meet such a talented young man such as you. I didn’t expect that old hag to actually take in a student"
The village chief laughed heartily, while Michael just looked at him wondering what is the man’s true identity that he even had the guts to even call a Sage.. a hag.
After all, Sages have a very special status in Nevareth Continent, and with Michael having a cautious nature. He had already read a lot of information about the powers in the continent back in Haven Library, and being one of them are the Sages.
Sages are actually heroes and they are considered saints by the populace with how powerful they are, that even kings and emperors would only be considered an ordinary person in front of them.
Well, the emperors and kings really dreads them as these Sages don’t really follow any set of rules, and it was because they already had a history of killing some monarchs before in the past that the monarchs dreads them, while the number of Sages in the continent could only be counted on one hand. He wasn’t even surprised when learned that Tina’s teacher is a Hermit, so you could already imagine just how shocked Michael was when he learned that the old lady Laura before was a Sage.
And base from his observation from Sage Laura, it seems that Dragon Master Hiccup has a special status among them, and what’s truly weird is that he had never read any information about the Dragon Master, Hiccup.
Like how the CIA or other similar groups are *cough* censoring certain things that they didn’t want the public to know.
Looking at the face that Michael is giving him, the village chief laughed once more.
"You must be wondering why I’m talking like Laura isn’t a big deal at all, right?"
"It’s because...I’m her brother! I’m Ralf Wolfgang! Mwahaha!"
"Huh?" Michael was a bit dumbfounded, then he saw that the information regarding the village chief had changed.
[Ralf Wolfgang]
Title: Village Chief of Calderock Village, 9th Circle Mountain Druid, Protector of the Mountains
Level: ???
Health: ???
Mana: ???
Ralf Wolfgang has a square head, has a long dirty blonde hair that almost reaches his waist, with a long beard, and with a pair of sharp eyes and eyebrows, along with a robust build.
He literally looks and had the build of a viking, even with how he’s dressed right now where he would certainly mistaken as warrior rather than a druid.
’A druid? It’s already my second time seeing one, could he be someone from the Church of the Wild? I wonder how powerful a druid truly is’ Micheal thought, as he tried to keep a poker face as its already enough that he had been surprised multiple times already.
"I’m a 9th Circle Druid of the Church of the Wild, and I wanted to meet you because I want to ask for your help"
Ralf eyes stared deeply at Michael, but the latter just ignored what he said.
"Is a 9th Circle Druid powerful? How are they compared to a Hermit or a Sage?"
When he heard his question, the edge of Ralf’s mouth couldn’t help but twitch as he suddenly had the urge to beat up someone.
