The Saint Mountain was very crowded by then.

The North Thearch had gathered more than forty million soldiers of the human race. They fought their way down, and almost ten million people died. There were about thirty million soldiers still left standing.

These thirty million people were taking up the entire wasteland south of Saint Mountain. They settled in dense camps which stretched for a hundred kilometers. There seemed to be an endless group of them. All around were scouts and soldiers on patrol. People were scattered all around as well.

The Buddha Emperor and company’s secret actions were very effective. The Sect Patriarchs of the concealed great sects and ten ancient clans all received their message. Each one of them felt greatly shocked by the news, although it was backed by evidence and proven to be true. Many of them slowly believed it in their hearts. All they were waiting for was for the Buddha Thearch to arrive.

The masterminds were the North Thearch and Heaven Nether Sect!

They could eventually believe this easily because the North Thearch stood to gain the most from all of this. If the Buddha Thearch had come just one or two months later or if they never returned at all, the entire Stellarsky Domain would have had their surnames changed to Wu.

For any plan, one had to wait until the end to see who would stand to benefit the most. There was no doubt that everything had played out to benefit Wu Shang. His motive was very clear. He wanted to take over the entire world and become the second Mystic Thearch.

Of course…

The most important thing was the North Thearch had revealed his ugly side while swallowing so many things this time. He alone became the leader while everyone supporting him became his assistant leaders. This caused many people to become suspicious of him. This was made worse during the battles in Snow Region. Each time the army went up against great clans and sects in the region, the North Thearch would send the concealed great sects and ancient sects to fight. It was obvious that he wanted to wear them down. Anyone would become suspicious of the North Thearch’s motives by this point.

However, the North Thearch, Xing Mengwan, the Sword Thearch, and the Beast Thearch’s actions these one or two days were especially confusing. They were extremely quiet and still. They sat in their Heaven Fate Ship all day drinking tea and chatting. It seemed like they had everything under control. There was no hint of panic or worry. One would think they did not even know the Buddha Thearch and company were on their way.

“Report…”

From afar came a loud, low voice. The scout seemed to be shouting loudly on purpose. On hearing his voice, countless people and Clan Heads of the great family clans jumped. He flew back at top speed and boarded the Heaven Fate Ship which contained the North Thearch. He landed on the deck, got down on one knee, and shouted, “Reporting to leader: Jiang Yi, the Buddha Thearch, the Xuan Thearch, the Night Empress, the Yin Thearch, and Tang Shenji are leading a group of people this way. They’re about half a day away.”

“Wow!”

Everybody was in shock. The heads of the concealed great sects and the ancient clans were all the more so. This scout was obviously sent by the North Thearch to give this report on purpose; otherwise, he would not be speaking so loudly. What was the North Thearch trying to tell them?

They thought that the Buddha Thearch and company were already dead, but now, they have appeared all of a sudden, and with Jiang Yi at that. Hearing this was enough to cause the soldiers’ hearts to waiver. If the North Thearch had not gone crazy, why would he give the scout such orders? Was he not afraid that his own army would turn against him? Was he confident of taking on all the formidable martial artists present, as well as Jiang Yi, the Buddha Thearch, and the others alone?

“Search again!”

The North Thearch sat on the deck of the Heaven Fate Ship. He was not alone. Xing Mengwan, Wu Ni, the Sword Thearch, and the Beast Thearch were with him as well. They all sat around a tea table, looking extremely relaxed. They looked like how they would if they were sitting in the back garden of the Wu Castle.

After a short time of bustling, countless people turned to look at the North Thearch’s relaxed expression and then quieted down again. Twenty million pairs of eyes locked on the Heaven Fate Ship that was floating in mid-air, as well as the few people sitting on its deck. Inside, their hearts raced. The scene was extremely sinister.

“Old Mo, my eyelid keeps twitching. Why do I feel like something’s wrong?”

The Clan Head of the Xuan Clan turned to the Clan Head of the Mo Clan and sent a voice transmission to him. The latter’s eyelid began twitching as well. He looked up to glance at the North Thearch and the others, then shook his head, and replied, “I feel like something is not right, too; but I can’t tell where the problem is. I just feel like something big is going to happen today. If things go badly, we might all perish…”

The Buddha Thearch and others would arrive soon. The Saint Empress in the north might gather her army and attack at any time. The Human Race Alliance Army could also turn against the North Thearch soon. How could the North Thearch and others sit around and enjoy their tea at a time like this?

This strange scene was causing the hair on the back of many necks to stand. Not only were the Clan Heads of the Xuan Clan and Mo Clan bothered, but other Clan Heads of great clans felt bothered as well. Yet, none of them dared to act. Whoever dared to make any strange moves now would be executed immediately without a doubt. A Demigod next to the North Thearch was even carrying his divine battle saber in his hands.

Time ticked by just like that…

The weather that day was particularly good. There was no wind in the air. In fact, the air was clear. The warm sun rays touched people’s backs, making them feel comfortably warm in the Snow Region. Yet, they trembled as chills ran down their spines.

“Reporting: Jiang Yi and company are five hundred thousand kilometers away!”

“Reporting: Jiang Yi and company are three hundred thousand kilometers away!”

“Reporting: Jiang Yi and company are a hundred thousand kilometers away!”

The scout kept reporting back to the North Thearch from time to time. Each time, he used his essence force to amplify his voice so that the entire army could hear him. The air seemed to be getting heavier. Nobody dared to even breathe too loudly. Their gazes locked in on the south region as they awaited for Jiang Yi and the others to arrive.

After almost an hour passed, a huge Heaven Fate Ship broke through the sky and approached them. Once they reached about fifty kilometers from the army, it began to slow down. Many Demigods used their divine senses to sweep the ship and were immediately able to confirm many things. Their hearts stilled.

The Heaven Fate Ship belonged to the Tang Clan. There were not many people on it, but every single person on that ship was a huge figure who was known throughout the continent. The four great Clan Heads, Tang Shenji, Jiang Yi, Jiang Xiaonu, and the North Emperor who was being pressed down by a giant who stood about three meters tall.

The Buddha Thearch and company had clear eyes. It was obvious they were not being controlled by anyone. Tang Shenji was once the assistant leader of the Human Race Alliance Army, and he was the Clan Head of the richest clan in the world. The Xuan Thearch, the Yin Thearch, the Night Empress, the Buddha Emperor, the Yin Emperor, the Night Emperor, and the Xuan Emperor were all highly reputable in the continent. Appearing together with Jiang Yi, at that moment, proved the truth.

Wu Shang still did not move. As the Heaven Fate Ship got closer, even Xing Mengwan and Wu Ni did not move. Only the Sword Thearch and the Beast Thearch looked up briefly and looked toward the south.

Mo Shen and Su Ruoxue were on their Heaven Fate Ship, too. Mo Shen was obviously gravely injured. Su Ruoxue was still unconscious. Each of them was being held down by a Demigod. The North Thearch’s huge divine battle saber was glowing, emanating a cold aura. The scene was really strange!

Swish!

The Heaven Fate Ship belonging to Jiang Yi and company stopped five kilometers in front of the Human Race Alliance Army. The Buddha Thearch and others turned to look at the other Heaven Fate Ships far away from them. They looked solemn. The situation today was so strange that even they were feeling a little nervous inside.

However, since they came here, they were prepared to fight till their death.

Buzz!

At that moment, a teleportation formation lit up on Saint Mountain. Tens of thousands of figures kept appearing within the teleportation formation. The Saint Empress herself brought with her all the formidable martial artists of the Heaven Hidden Sect, as well as the surviving formidable martial artists of the Snow Region.

Zhan Wushuang, Huangfu Taotian, and the others were among the army. All of them stood still, not moving. Their eyes lit up when they caught sight of Jiang Yi. It was obvious that their allegiance was to him. They were waiting for Jiang Yi’s orders. The Buddha Thearch and Jiang Yi exchanged a meaningful look. Then, Jiang Yi stepped forward and shouted, “Wu Shang, how do you want to play today? Make the rules clear!”

“Keke!”

The North Thearch Wu Shang did not respond to him but kept his head low. Wu Ni, who was beside him, suddenly smiled. He looked up at Jiang Yi and shook his head. He smiled slightly as he said, “Jiang Yi, Wu Shang is not the one playing with you today; I will play with you. I promise… you will have a lot of fun today!”

“Old Mo!”

The Buddha Thearch and the Xuan Thearch’s eyes widened. Xing Mo had successfully inhabited another person’s body, and that person was Wu Ni.
