The Dark King

Chapter 890

Chapter 890 – Chapter 880: Get Out Of The Way

Two days passed quickly.

Dudian took Aisha to eat and drink in the king’s city. They enjoyed the rare peaceful time. In the blink of an eye, the banquet began. Dudian and Lothick rode in the same carriage. They followed the carriages of the other lords and headed to Rose Manor, the venue of the banquet.

“Rose Manor has a history of more than 100 years. The street was renamed as Rose Street 60 years ago. This time the Grand Duke of Rose opened the Violet Square. It has become one of the four most prosperous areas in the king’s city. People will think of Rose Manor and the Grand Duke of Rose. They are hereditary nobles who have survived from their ancestors…”

Inside the carriage, Lothick was introducing the Rose Manor to Dudian.

Dudian casually asked a question. He didn’t interrupt Lothick as he was listening to the story.

It didn’t take long for the convoy to enter a bustling area. Lothick lifted the curtain and looked out. There was a trace of awe and yearning in his eyes, he sighed: “Violet Square is almost here. It is worthy of being one of the four flourishing areas of the king’s city…”

Dudian glanced at the caravan. He felt the prosperity of the king’s city. The streets were crowded with people. Although there were flags of many lords on the caravan but it was still difficult for them to move. There were several teams of knights coming to maintain order.

Lothick whispered: “They are the retinues of the Duke of Rose.”

Dudian remembered the emblem on the Knight’s shoulder. It was the shape of a rose. It matched the title of the Lord.

After half an hour the convoy finally arrived in front of an empty street. There weren’t many people on the street. Most of the passers-by took a detour, there was awe in their eyes as they looked at the place.

Dudian lifted the curtain and looked around. He immediately understood the difference between the lord of the Rose and the other lords. The manor stood in front of the convoy. It was vast as if it was a green grassland, there were more than ten maids and gardeners in the manor. They were pruning the tea trees and lawn. There were buildings standing in the distance.

Ordinary people could barely see the black outline of the buildings.

The size of the manor was shocking. It was even more exaggerated than the palace that Dudian had seen before.

“In the king’s city, such a large manor territory was built. It doesn’t include the private area outside the king’s city…”Dudian’s eyes flashed. He had a more intuitive understanding of the strength of the Rose Manor.

At this time, seven or eight teams of knights galloped in front of the manor. Their armors were bright and the feathers on their helmets were bright red. They stood up and talked with the guards at the gate for a while, the gate of the manor was opened and the leading team drove in. The rest of the carriages followed and slowly drove into the vast manor.

After entering the manor, it was as if he had entered another world. The previously noisy noise had completely disappeared, and it became very quiet and peaceful.

Losic smacked his lips and lifted the curtain to secretly size up the entire way. Although he was a lord, he rarely had the opportunity to come to Grand Duke Rose’s manor as a guest. At this moment, compared to this rose manor.., he thought about his own castle and manor which he was proud of. He felt ashamed.

Lothick wasn’t the only one who was moved. The other lords were also moved. They had seen the majestic atmosphere of the Rose Manor and the majestic financial resources.

Dudian wasn’t interested in these things. He had seen too much gold and silver wealth when he usurped the wall master. Although the Rose Manor was quite grand but in his eyes it was just like that.., moreover he saw himself as a fighter. He believed that the strong was respected by the iron law. He didn’t care about the superficial fancy. He understood that this kind of fancy wasn’t just pure beauty and atmosphere, it was an invisible show of force.

Ten minutes later the convoy passed through the manor and came to the top of the hill. They saw a magnificent castle which was located in front of the tallest and largest building on the hill, knights stood in line and decorated the gate of the building.

The carriages drove to the main hall and everyone got off.

“That is the third son of the Duke of Rose, Crodie.”Lothick whispered to Dudian.

Dudian nodded but didn’t say anything.

Lothick knew what Dudian really cared about so he didn’t say much. The reason why he introduced him was because he was afraid that Dudian would cause trouble. Although he was eager for Dudian to get into trouble but now he was following him, if something happened then it would inevitably implicate himself.

“Stephanie, Yar, come here.”Lothick waved to the two women who got off the car.

The two women were accompanied by the guards. Lothick glanced at Dudian who was standing next to Lothick. There was a trace of dissatisfaction in her eyes but she didn’t show it, she didn’t know much about the war but she wasn’t completely ignorant. At least in terms of etiquette, she knew to restrain herself. Especially for people who were in awe of her father.

Loya was the elder sister. She smiled as she looked at Dudian: “Dad, there are so many lords coming today. When are we going in?”

“Now.”Loic looked at the surroundings: “Mr. Dean come with me or the guards will have to stay outside.”

Dudian nodded.

Everyone walked towards the main hall. Krodi waited for Lothick to come forward, he said in a friendly tone: “I have long heard of Lord Lothick’s name. I have seen him today. He is extraordinary. These two are your daughters. They are so beautiful and elegant!”

Lothick was flattered: “Thank you, thank you.”

Krodi smiled as he looked at dean and Aisha: “Who are these two?”

Lothick replied: “They are the children of my relatives. They are coming to see me.”

KRODI frowned: “Alright, please go ahead.”

Lothick was relieved as he saw Dudian agree. He brought Dudian into the main hall.

Rosik and Luoya who were born in noble families couldn’t help but take a deep breath as they entered the hall. They couldn’t help but look shocked. It was too magnificent, the main hall was very spacious. It could accommodate thousands of people. It was like a small square. There were more than ten large tables. There was a lot of champagne and a large number of plates, there was a row of chefs who specialized in serving food and maids who were shuttling back and forth in the banquet.

The crystal lamps were hanging above their heads. They were arranged in an orderly manner. The atmosphere was exquisite. The two women held their breath.

Dudian saw this scene. He suddenly thought of the village that he had met on the outermost edge of the giant wall. It was old and muddy. There were also starving villagers. He sighed in his heart. He didn’t sympathize with those people. There was no need to.., there was only a faint regret. He couldn’t say why he regretted it. Maybe it was because of this polarization phenomenon. He clearly hated it, but he couldn’t change it. Or maybe he saw through it and agreed.., and became one of them.

While Dudian’s thoughts were drifting, a voice suddenly sounded from behind him.

“Get out of the way!”

The voice was rough and full of dignity.

Dudian turned his head and saw that Lothick had already entered the main hall of the banquet with his two daughters. Only he and Aisha who were holding his arm were standing at the door.

However, the main hall was very spacious. The door was naturally spacious enough to accommodate seven or eight people. Dudian wasn’t standing in the middle of the hall. There were five or six people who spoke to him. If they weren’t walking side by side.., he did not have to make way.
