Chapter 548: Ramping Up Everything

It didn’t take too long for Zhi Yong to return.

And he was overjoyed to see Lin Xuan Qi again after such a long time.

"Master Lin, me help check factories." He gave Lin Xuan Qi a huge smile and said.

"Well done. You’ve certainly helped." Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head approvingly at him.

Then, he took out the gift he had bought from Gui Feng City.

"Thank you, Master Lin. Me like." Zhi Yong said with a grin when he received the gift from Lin Xuan Qi.

It was a small knife that would be useful for him while doing his daily chores in the mansion.

Lin Xuan Qi had gotten a bottle of wine for Lee He Song, which Lee He Song was also happy about.

"I think we can have a great dinner with this." Lee He Song chuckled as he opened the stopper of the wine bottle to have a whiff of it.

Lin Xuan Qi was in the mood to do so.

He gave him a nod and said, "We will certainly do so."

The three of them got out of the lab and headed for the dining hall next.

Lin Xuan Qi enjoyed the meal and wine together with everyone else.

The sense of warmth and belonging made it worthwhile for all his hard work for the Clan.

After they had finished the dinner, Lin Xuan Qi had a long night.

He checked on the production status of the factories and was pleased that everything was going according to plan.

But the current output from all the factories would not be able to supply all of his retail stores going forward, and so he needed to increase the production lines.

Lin Xuan Qi went around the factories and gave them instructions on how the new production lines were to be created.

He handed the supervisors of the factories the plan and let them execute it themselves.

With so many things on his plate, he couldn’t be doing everything all by himself for too long.

The factory supervisors were anxious but they took on the responsibility, as they knew that with more production that meant a lot more bonus for them at the end of the year.

They had just had a huge bonus over the spring festival and they were very satisfied with it.

Some even managed to save up and earned enough with the bonus for them to get themselves out of slavery.

After he was done with the factories, he went and checked on how the kelp farming was going along in Bai Sha village.

When he got there, he could see the kelp farm that had been built and many of the villagers were tending to it.

He asked one of them and the villager said that the kelp was growing along fine.

That was good news for him as it would guarantee that he would be able to supply the Lin Clan Taste Transcendent Essence for the whole of the year this time.

For the previous year, he had to stop the production due to the lack of enough kelp, making his income suffer.

Lin Xuan Qi had a feeling that his income would be so much more than last year with all of his businesses up and running so well.

After he left Bai Sha village, he went back to Hong Feng City and decided to check on his old friend Sima Long in the Sima Family Mansion.

It had been a while since he saw him and it would be great to see if Zhang Jie was doing well with the date of delivery drawing near.

And if Sima Ye was around, he might be able to get some information on what the Qing Feng Sect was trying to do.

When he got to the Sima Family mansion and glanced at its walls, the cracks and marks of the battle were still visible, reminding him that a huge family or clan could go down fast if it wasn’t powerful enough.

"Brother Xuan Qi, long time no see." When Sima Long came out from the mansion, he greeted him with a smile.

"How are things for you? You look tired." He asked and Sima Long gave out a sigh.

Sima Long glanced around and waved at him with his hand, gesturing for him to follow, "Let’s not talk here, come with me."

Lin Xuan Qi followed behind him and walked along the familiar corridors of the Sima Family mansion.

There were still workers doing work to restore the damages but the replacements of the damaged pavilions, furniture, and other items didn’t seem as extravagant as they were before.

He took note of it but kept quiet.

Things certainly weren’t back to normal as usual for the Sima Family.

That meant that he was on his own.

Thankfully, he wasn’t the Lin Xuan Qi that had started out with nothing anymore.
