Hello, dear readers!
As promised, I'm here to address my absence last month and give you some (exciting) news about your favorite story.
First, I apologize for my sudden disappearance. I should have written a line or two in explanation, but my brain was not in the best of states. The past year has not been the most pleasant one. It began with me being continuously ill, and, although it was nothing life-threatening, it negatively affected my writing. In addition, my research grant for my day job was denied, which means that I've been job hunting for some months, with little success. This also did not result in a very productive writing environment. Lastly, at the beginning of October, a precious family member lost their life in a horrible traffic accident. Writing has been difficult ever since. I believe that all the above, plus the tricky part of the novel we are getting to, have resulted in a small writer's block. But worry not, I'm slowly coming through, and the story won't be abandoned.

In contrast to the bad happenings, there is also a glimmer of hope. The Beast and the Swallow has been picked up for publishing by MoonQuill. I have talked with the publisher and have their assurance that all parts of the story that are not in active publication can remain on RR on full, and the chapter-by-chapter upload can continue. What this means right now is that Book 1 will become a stump sometime next year, but Book 2 and onward are still here in full. I do encourage you all to check the officially published version of the books when they come out. Why? Because there are new and exciting chapters in the MoonQuill versions that are not present on RR (and also not in the current Amazon version of Book 1).
Currently, the editing for Book 1 is finished, Book 2 has been sent to the publisher, Book 3 is being actively rewritten, and I'm writing Book 4.
If there are any important changes in the future, I'll be sure to inform you. I hope you'll continue to accompany me on this journey
See you soon!
